Faust the Widower

A little ramble about his name origin as someone who read the original Faust I in german and likes it

Ofc, Faust is super commonly known as the Man who did a deal with the devil, but what a lot of people kind of miss is the aspect of Gretchen’s tragödie.

Faust wishes for power riches etc., but he also wishes for love. The devil (Mephisto) grants him that wish by guaranteeing that “Every woman will hold the beauty of Helena” (A mythological woman who was said to be the most beautiful of them all)

Shortly after, Faust falls in love with the first woman he sees (a girl in the story but. Time period and all that.), Gretchen. To him she’s the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen, and he pretty fastly seduces her, ruins her reputation with it, kills her brother, mother and drops her again because it’s not true love. He’s just lusting after her and believes it is love.

Anyway that’s the aspect I wanted for his name in the story I made for him as well - PC doesn’t actually look like his late s/o at all. He just believes they do.

“Women will look hold the beauty of Helena” -> They will look like Faust’s s/o. They’re the most beautiful person to him. In truth he probably can’t even remember their face anymore. Anytime they try, PC comes up instead.

Faust sold his soul to one of the eldritch gods (the one opposing Virgo) ((I deadass forgot its name I think it was Aurelia or smth 😭)) in order to take revenge and bring his dead s/o back to life. He believes all he needs is a vessel that has a connection to her. A sacrifice.

Meanwhile in my hc it’s that PC is connected to the gods as well (like be fr they have so much supernatural shit happening around them), and has become a target of the god.

So the god influences Faust, and makes him believe PC looks just like his s/o. That has to be a sign that they’ll be the perfect vessel, right? A rebirth, they remember him too, this time it has to be right. This time he can beat the odds and save them. Even if it killed them every other time, it’ll be different this time.

Truth is though, it’s all a trick. And at the end PC will end just as tragically as Gretchen did.

Or maybe, they can break the cycle. Who knows.

Sorry but also thinking of Locke, how he becomes known, his hands and cock becoming familiar to viewers of Quinn’s films, that he’s known for being the most brutal.

When Freak begins filming his own stuff, he is a repeat victim, self harming or doing suicide attempts on stream with his location pinned. People finding him and doing horrific things on stream.

Of Harper making extra revenue by streaming the surgeries and fucked shit they do, streaming when they surgically alter Freak into a dog person. Removing and replacing the ears, pulling the teeth out, changing his hands and feet into paws, elongating the spine so it can have a tail, the lobotomy.

DOL and Shock Sites

random but do you think dolville has it's own brand of shock site? like it's obviously supposed to have internet based on the fact vrel wants to add a streamer career sooooo they DEFINITELY have access to shock sites. especially because quinn makes content that's definitely meant for shock sites. unless she's selling it at a premium. subscribestar, gore video, premium tapes.

anyways. oxford secondary school probably has a problem with students logging into the school's computers to look at liveleak streams. random kids livestreaming assaults for extra cash. the wholeeeee nine yards.

and the school has cameras in the toilets, they probably have a secret site where they stream this shit. extra tourism for town. sites where sex tourists pay for commissioned snuff films like something from 13 mm.

and obviously you'd have sites quinn owns themselves in order to host their own movies. they're all high grade, members of the town elite use them to vet for sugar babies or people who they can abuse and get away with. gorey, just gruesome stuff. they don't have the same edge as the homemade schlock you can get on any other site though, which is why quinn charges astronomical rates for access.

if vrel let pc have actual access to the internet in future updates i'd honestly think working for a shock site would be great for the gameplay. would add to like a darker mood/more hopeless while showing pc slipping into being a worse and worse person?

you could have a demon pc throw themselves into snuff films that border the lens between legality, even have them stumble across films of themselves being assaulted. there might even be a category meant for angel pc's, you know, people with a fetish of 'defiling' angels. snuff films made with kidnapped animal people forced to 'perform' in circuses and do what's essentially farm larp. i could see niki selling their photos of cows at remy's farm to sites.

this is just a jumble of thoughts rn. like, it's dolville, with a reputation for being nasty perv land. they definitely have their own town specific shock sites, or at the very least shit like liveleak and shockumentary. if anyone has any thoughts on this feel free to comment, i am curious what people think.

Hiiii… so, uh

Poe Allens : he’s got a whole lot going on, but in regard to this he is asexual and sex repulsed. So I’d generally say he’s at 0% horny, though there is a period where he has the ear worm and it causes him extreme distress since it makes his body aroused despite his mind being in panic mode.

Locke the Predator : I’d say he’s is generally at 5%, in a general fight it goes up to 10%, and while he’s hunting it’s at a solid 70% (it is not uncommon for him to be half hard during a hunt… just don’t ask what he’s hunting). And now that he is basically helping Quinn do snuff films, it’s not uncommon for him to take some aphrodisiacs to help him stay aroused. Really kills the mood that when filming for Quinn the victim can’t be too injured and have to be alive by the end.

Freak the Feverish : So, Freak jorks it in public, sexually harasses people, desperate for attention, can and will grind on strangers, regularly goes to the bar to drink and fuck… but I think it’s general horny level is closer to 40%? Or a range from 20%-40%. Half the time it’s dry when it does stuff, bruises itself, scratches itself with its nails. Though during self harm or an attempt, his horny level likely jumps to like, 90%. Masochism win!

Heron the Dancer : Before Briar, probably generally around 5%. Put something in his mouth (pen, lollipop, etc) that jumps to 20%. Oral fixation go brrrr. While caged by Briar, Briar probably keeps him hooked on aphrodisiacs that ensure he’s always at like, 70% horny. Once he escapes he’s probably consistently around 30% horny on the usual (jumps to 40% when he has something in his mouth).

I have a question for your PCs.

How horny are they? Generally? On a scale of 0-100? Zero being "never has the urge to do anything horny". 100 being "constantly wants to do more, infinitly dtf"

Asking because, like, this is a horny game and things are going to happen one way or another. I cant assume that because your character is super sexed up that means they're a horny person. I also cant assume that because your character has an angel tf that means they're not constantly horny.

I want to know, please tell me!

To start: Daisy is probably at maybe 10% maaaybe up to 20% sometimes. Generally uninterested. Isn't usually pursuing things. This probably spikes up considerably when cowgirl tf causes her to be in heat.

Soy............. 5% currently. Hasn't figured out enough about themselves, doesnt know what they like or what kind of person they are attracted to yet.

posting a couple of lil scenes i wrote introducing yara as if she was an npc! she'd have two potential intro scenes, one at the temple during mass, one in the strip club dressing room. you could get both scenes in either order, but here's the mass->club version:

Meeting Yara at Mass

A girl in a nun's habit slides into your pew, smoothing out her skirt before sitting down beside you. Coarse black fringe frames her freckled face. You recognize her as Yara, one of your fellow orphans. She’s known to be something of a delinquent, but she seems to keep to herself.

She glances at you, recognition vaguely registering on her face. "Ah. Good morning." -> [If you're a member of the temple:] She stares at you for a long moment, unblinking. "The money's nice, isn't it?" -> [Otherwise:] She looks like she's sizing you up. "It feels peaceful here, right? But don't let it fool you." An awkward pause stretches between the two of you, the murmurs of the congregation echoing off vaulted ceilings. Yara shifts in her seat, then breaks the silence. “I guess it’s nice to see a familiar face.” | + + Yara’s Insecurity (1) Leave her alone (2) Chat | + Love (3) Flirt | Promiscuity 1 | + Lust? You chat with Yara for a few minutes. She holds your gaze with an unsettling intensity, but she still seems distracted, somehow. Her fingers fidget in her lap, prayer beads clicking in her hands. Mass is about to start. Yara turns her attention to the altar.

You notice Yara standing in front of one of the mirrors. She’s examining her shimmering lingerie, absently fiddling with the holy pendant around her neck. She looks lost in thought before noticing you, her holy pendant pressed to her lips. "Oh, it's you... Not surprised to see you here." She speaks in a deadpan tone, regarding you coolly. -> [If you're a member of the temple:] "Seems like we're in the same boat." | - - Yara’s Insecurity -> [If you're NOT a member of the temple:] "You'd better not snitch on me." | - Yara’s Insecurity (1) Leave her alone (2) Chat | + Love (3) Flirt | Promiscuity 1 | + Lust? You chat with Yara for a few minutes. She doesn’t say much, but seems to be listening. Her eyes occasionally meet yours in the mirror as she puts the finishing touches on her hair and makeup. “Well,” Yara finishes preening, then turns away from you. “I’ll be around.” She leaves for the stage.
