Always remember you are not responsible for managing other people’s feelings. If they’ve hurt you, tell them directly instead of worrying about how they’re going to receive it. If they abandoned you make it clear on how it affected you. It’s okay to express yourself. They need to know how it’s affecting your friendship or connection to them.

It doesn’t matter where you go; if your mind is not at peace, you will not be at peace.

One day, you'll be singing your favourite songs at the top your lungs as you swing around your house to its beat. One day you'll look back at the battle you are fighting today and think about how you overcame them all. One day you'll be at peace with yourself. Please hang on until you see that day.

Hobbies do not need to be “productive”. That includes sharing them on social media. You do not need to create anything other than joy and moments of relaxation (in whatever form that comes to you). Watch the clouds just to watch them go by, don’t tell anyone what you see, or don’t see anything at all. You deserve moments entirely for yourself.

it’s not a “cop out” or an “excuse” to be honest about what you, as a disabled person, can or can’t do.
we all need to step outside of our comfort zones from time to time, but if you think that doing something will cause you harm, you should listen to your body and not do it. you know yourself best, and you shouldn’t feel guilty for doing what is best for you

Doing things you like is not a waste of time. Watching series, playing video games, listening to podcasts, being creative etc. If it makes you happy, it doesn't matter that you're not productive during that time, what matters is that you are enjoying yourself, generating happiness. Those are the BEST moments. Chilling, relaxing, having fun. Don't let people guilt you into not enjoying the best parts of your day.
