I've seen this movie too and let me tell you, it's an experience

Not only it goes on for 2 hours and a half, it also feels like you're watching two separate movies AT ONCE. One is an interpretation drama about the life of a poet, and the other is some kind of Hamilton rip-off with sick beats and sometimes actual poems as a text

Everytime they started rapping, I was laughing my ass off, the musical numbers felt so out of place

The scene with poem writing in the sea is peak cinema tho, that's just how writing/drawing feels like

So I just watched a new film about Alexander Pushkin (a famous Russian poet and writer, basically the father of modern Russian literature and language)

The trailers were dead serious and I expected anything but Pushkin surfing on a desk among creepy ass wax statues while writing his poems and RAPPING
