After Abel's design was leaked, I finally dug this out of my forgotten files and decided to finish it.

This is just my personal take on Cain and Abel for an AU I’d like to write someday.

Anyway, more about Adam and Eve's most famous children.

Cain, the firstborn and the family’s problem child. With a bad temper and a long history of reckless decisions made in the heat of the moment, he lost his parents’ and siblings’ trust a long time ago.

It’s not that he means to hurt anyone on purpose, but ever since he realized how different he was from his siblings, he’s struggled to find his place and truly feel like part of the family.

Weird fact: For some reason, Cain seems to age a little more slowly than his siblings.

Abel, the golden boy of the family. he is favored by his parents for his strong, reliable character. As the second oldest child, he’s the one who looks after his younger sisters and keeps Cain in check whenever their parents are out. He can get a bit bossy at times, but he always tries to be the kind of big brother his sisters can rely on.

Even though he plays along with his parents, Abel has his own doubts about their origins and doesn’t fully believe their stories about angels.

Fun fact: Abel is the most powerful human soul after his parents.

Hi, I love your AU and I was wondering if you could help me with your perspective on something. As a Jew, what would you consider cultural appropriation and supersessionism? Like, if someone use Lililth or Naamah or Agrat or Eisheth as demons in Hell? Or if someone use names of malachim like Metatron, Sandalphon, Hanael or Samael for angels in Heaven? Or I don't know, maybe using worlds to describe malachim like Sarim or Chayalim to name classes of angels? I saw these things in some fanfics of Hazbin Hotel and want your perspective on the matter.

I don't think that taking inspiration from other people's religions/cultures is something "unacceptable", — we live in an era of globalization, travel a lot and can find ANY information on a topic of interest; therefore, I don't think that the usage of Jewish terminology, myths and characters = cultural appropriation if the author does proper research and treats other culture with respect, WITHOUT caricaturing/demonizing

and I sure we're free to have fun using different stories as a source of inspiration, terms and characters, but only until Vassago (a blind old prophet, thematically associated with crocodiles) turns into a random gay Spanish pirate parrot twink №24139 😄

It has been over a month since I lost my unborn child, the siege and starvation stole his life before he could open his eyes to this world. His heart fell silent, just as the world has fallen silent about our suffering.😢

Since that day, life has only grown harsher. The crossings have been closed for five months now, no food, no medicine, not even clean water is allowed in. We need $60 a day just to buy a little bread, and yet on most days, we can’t even manage that. This has forced us to boil tree leaves and eat them, to mix water with animal feed… just to survive! Hunger is killing us slowly. Our bodies are breaking down, and on top of it all, the miscarriage has left me physically exhausted. I can no longer even carry my little boy, who hasn’t yet turned three. All he has ever known in his life is fear, hunger, and the harshness of living in a tent.😥💔
