Both are shit dads who neglects their daughters. Both had affairs. And both did things that damaged and ruined lives of other people (Stella, Octavia, Blitz, Adam, humanity)

(And of course, both are Viv favorites)

But even after did all this, they don't take responsability for their actions. They just play the victim all the time. Acting as the poor and misundertood UwU boys. And never facing consequences even when their shit hits the fan!

Stolas broke his promise and abandoned Octavia but he's a good father. It's Octavia fault for not understand Stolas situation

Blitz thinks Stolas doesn't care about him and are using him only for sex, after Stolas himself proposed lend his book to Blitz in exchange sexual favors! But somehow is Blitz fault for misinterpret him only because he's a prince or some shit like that

Stella is mad why her husband humiliated her by date an imp but since she doesn't love him she isn't allowed to feel angry or betrayed.

Lucifer had an affair with Adam's first wife and later with the second wife but it's Adam fault by not being good enough

Lucifer spread evil and tained humanity but it's the other angels fault, by not undertanding him, and humanity theirself by being flawned. He was just trying to do something nice.

Both are selfish, only care about themselves and their fantasies. And if someone gets hurt beucase that the blame is always of their victims, not them.

And now, their victims. Stella and Adam

I'm not saying they are inocents. They aren't.

But both are victims, and even so they are treated as monsters who don't deserve pity.

Stella was forced in arranged marriege since her childhood, just like Stolas. She was humiliated when Stolas cheated on her with Blitz and even if she divorce she'll have right to nothing. Losing her money and status. But even so Stella is treated as if she was born a mean bitch, while Stolas is the poor guy forced to marry the evil Stella.

Adam is even worse, his two wifes cheated on him with the same guy, he lost his home, was forced to work hard to protect and feed his family, one of his kids kill his other son and saw his descendants being tained by evil and going to Hell, while Lucifer was a king living a cozy life.

But he's the bad guy because he commands exterminations to keep Heaven safe from a possible attack from Hell and is against redemption idea even Charlie showing no proof about it, and he probably still being traumatized after the last time a Morningstar have foolproof idea.

“While Stolas is the poor guy forced to marry the evil Stella.” Yeah, the double standards are crazy. “But he's the bad guy because he commands exterminations to keep Heaven safe from a possible attack from Hell.” That’s not why he commands exterminations, he does it for entertainment.

Even during Charlie’s monologue in “Overtune,” Adam is looking very sadistic. I won’t lie, I’m very confused where some people get the idea that Adam is trying to keep Heaven safe when he has his own agenda and ulterior motives. As for Lucifer while yes, he is physically well off but mentally he wasn’t in the right head space after getting casted to the dark pits of Hell.

In the “Story of Hell” Charlie mentions that Lilith was the one who thrived. As for Adam’s aftermath in Eden, I won’t comment too much on it because Vivziepop likes changing the source material (which is not a bad thing) and we, the audience don’t know what happened with Eve and Adam. But it’s something to keep in mind.

Some more Edentide things, this time some side characters and one (1) antagonist much later down the storyline.

Abel and Adam&Eve are dead, so their souls aren't restricted to how they looked in life and can be whatever they want.

Abel, after suffering a "mysterious accident," decided he would much rather be in the vague shape of his favourite animal. He's a good kid who absolutely didn't deserve the fate he got... but everyone will tell you he's a bit of a smart ass in The Blue.

Adam&Eve decided they didn't like being separated in death, so they decided to occupy the same space as each other in one 'body'. They can unfuse at any point, but would rather not.

Cain is. Well, he's sulking on the Moon these days after being punished with immortality by Mr. Trinity. Might have something to do with killing his brother in a jealous rage, but I guess we will never truly know, eh.

Could you tell us more about Naamah and her powers?

considering that Naamah is a mortal human in past whose main strengths were musicality and openness to dealing with demons (but nothing more), she doesn't have the same strong magical power as Eisheth or Lilith

but if we consider that Naamah is the Tainted, by both blood and flesh (the first of fourteen full Tainted in local history), then she is relatively good at blood magic and can slow down the process of decay: her methods of treatment are music therapy, meditation training and introduction to an ecstatic state by different ways

oh, and don't forget that her music skills are REALLY good!

Certain Cailtyn defenders are turning into certain Jayvik stans and that’s not a good thing. The amount of racism and misogyny on both of these communities is insane. It’s not everyone but it’s a loud enough portion that I am not surprised anymore when I see a Jayvik fan disregard Mel and treat her like a monster for breaking the little gay ship up or when another Caitlyn defender say racist comments towards a person of color just because they had reasons to criticize her character.

I’m not trying to generalize the two groups. I know it’s not all of those fans and there are decent ones that don’t say stuff like that but it’s still so frustrating to see such blatant misogyny and racism.

I've said this a lot before but i keep thinking it, alastor's the only one that the fully red color palette actually makes sense on. Like, if he can hide in the shadows it would make sense he'd try to hide in the background too. But a majority of the other just have no excuse for all the red [ aside from possibly charlie because, you know, her suit is basically her uniform. ]

It would be cool if Alastor went full chameleon mode regarding his shadow and the world around him in general. Otherwise, his whole red color palette is tacky on the eyes.

You have an amazing, and I mean truly amazing and extensive knowledge about history in general, can I ask what were your general sources of learning? Some history books in specific? Or was more personal knowledge you acquired randomly?

I'll be honest I'm NOT a historian by education :D I have a fairly random set of knowledge, because I look for information from different sources, depending on the need; besides, it's information in different formats, ranging from the usual historical (I once searched for the path of resettlement of the Roma people in the 14th century and the number of children who finished school in US in the 1910s) and ending with myths (for example, the image of Lucifer's wives is not a 100% canonical version, but an interpretation of various information)

mainly I use popular science literature (ranging from historical books by Johan Huizinga to researches like "why penises are drawn in handwritten books in the margins" lol), research articles, fragments of translations of the Bible, Tanakh, apocryphas and various regional myths, even Greek sometimes

and then I interpret all this information to make mainly Christianity/Judaism based worldbuilding ❤

slapstick comedy has always existed (and always annoyed me) but it's somehow worse when shows like spop, gravity falls, toh, etc do it. these shows are centered around self-expression and self-acceptance, gravity falls and toh in particular have main characters who are bullied for being too weird or quirky.

so then, why is it okay to bully other characters for the same reason? gravity falls expects us to sympathize with mabel when she's being bullied by pacifica, but then it's okay when thompson is being bullied by his friends because he's a loser and he deserves it?

similarly, we're expected to side with luz when she feels like an outcast among her peers, but we're supposed to laugh when everyone treats hooty like shit, because he's just “too weird”?

how can these shows say that it's okay to be weird and you need to just be yourself, but then miss the point so bad just for a few laughs?

and the thing is, there are ways to make slapstick comedy work. my favorite example of this is lightning mcqueen from cars. when he first gets stranded in radiator springs, there are a lot of jokes at his expense and the other cars constantly make fun of him. he is constantly being belittled and humiliated by everyone.

however, this makes sense because lightning is a huge jerk. he is arrogant, he is classist, he treats all the residents of radiator springs as lesser than him, and he is unwilling to do community service in order to clean up the mess that he made.

this is a character who isn't bullied for being “too weird” or “too much of a loser”. lightning had what was coming for him. and in the end, it serves as character development when he slowly becomes more humble and realizes that there's more to life than fame and stardom. and guess what? as he becomes more humble, the residents of radiator springs also warms up to him and stops making fun of him.

ATLA also does this well with sokka in the first season. suki beating him up is comedic but also well deserved because sokka was a huge misogynist who thought too highly of himself. again, this is a situation where sokka needed to be humbled and once he changes for the better, suki softens up.

if you want to do slapstick comedy, this is how you do it. instead of having the characters pick on some innocent kid for no reason, target that towards a character who has glaring negative qualities, and use it for character development.

aaaand... finally Adam's face turned out the way I wanted it to look - tired and old. In general, speaking for Adam, it doesn't suit him to be handsome.

It's also a matter of body image. Too fat, too thin or too muscular - it's also not good for him. here need to take a little bit of everything.

(and yes, I know that God has two left palms here. I got a facepalm because of this fail. and yes, i know you will have questions about scars and body hair. let's just say... i experimented.).
