I love dimension 20 as much as the next guy, but it’s got me saying shit like “I hope the Quangle is good this week!! Super excited for the Quangle!!!!” Like stop you’re scaring the hoes
I mean, Dimension 20 has done a whole bunch of seasons that aren't based in 5e. Not even the first time they've used Kids on Bikes.
i'm aware! i've been meaning to watch mentopolis for a minute, just haven't gotten around to it! was just expressing my excitement since the majority of the seasons are played in 5e, only 4/22 seasons are fully different systems i believe (please feel free to correct me if i'm wrong)
i don't even have any issues with 5e, i just think it's super fun to try out different stuff since there's so much out there, but i am super glad they chose KOB because it fits this season much better than 5e would have in my opinion
at the end of the day i just love getting to see the cast tell a story together and have fun, so whatever system works best for the story they're trying to tell is fine with me :)
nsbu truly might be one of my favorite d20 seasons of all time, everything about it was so fun and every episode was a ride of it's own, i'm soo happy they played outside of 5e for this season and i really hope they do it more in the future because this was an absolute blast 💥
