This blog isn't coming back and my WoW sub has run out/probably died, but I will say kudos to this and everybody involved. This guide was my intro to Night Elf roleplaying and comes from the way way back heady days of the original iteration of The Cenarion Guardians on Steamwheedle Cartel. It's good content and it makes me happy to see people still working on it.

Night Elf Roleplay Guide (2008-Present)
Since 2012, I have been helping maintain a night elf roleplay guide originally written by Melyria of Moon Guard (2008) and revised by Celegil, Aldrannath, and Kestrel of Steamwheedle Cartel EU (2010). After of 2015, I’ve welcomed @shaureyne to join me in this endeavor.
With the recent forum update on the official Blizzard forums, I have been given the opportunity to post this guide again. Unfortunately, the guide has stagnated since Fall 2017. There is a great deal of lore I have yet to rummage through from Legion, and even more on the way in Battle for Azeroth, Elegy, Before the Storm, and more.
If you are interested in helping update and maintain this guide, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Comments, suggestions, and additional examples or citations are extremely welcome and helpful! Shaha lor’ma!

Dec 30th - Wishing Madness
The girl was filthy. Her robes were grey with it, ripped, stained at the sleeves and neck. Rhysthiel breathed subtly through her mouth, although the stink still intruded. This one had gone off the deep end for sure. She was a pitiful creature now the potions had faded and the moon was set behind the hills.
“To wish madness upon oneself is very rash,” said Rhysthiel, crouching by the girl, the acolyte, and peering at her face.
Eyes vacant, the girl stared back and seemed to comprehend nothing. Sometimes they didn’t recover, but Rhysthiel had some hope for this one. She had stopped, eventually, before they were forced to kill her. Some of the others had not been so lucky.
Acolytes of Lunacy. It was almost a lost art, a withered branch of the Sisterhood tree, for exactly this reason. It was a knife-edge, on one side enlightenment - the other? Howling madness. The Full Moon had many secrets, and some of those were never meant for their minds.
Rhysthiel reached out to push a lank purple strand of hair behind the girl’s ripped ear and asked;
“Who taught you? Who showed you this path?”
She could see coherency slowly returning, the girl was processing her question. Thinking. A small pink tongue emerged to wet her bloody lower lip and her eyes slid from Rhysthiel to the disturbed earth.
A few feet away lay the body. They had covered it, but blood was soaking through the cloth. Nothing to be done about that. The Acolytes of Lunacy often became possessed of preternatural strength. Things tended to go badly for anything unfortunate enough to stray into their path. This time it had been a druid.
“This… path?” rasped the girl, fingers curling in the mud “I… She…”
Gaze sharpening, Rhysthiel stared intently as the girl pulled her hands back to herself, drawing in words.
“She… Sister… Autumnleaf.”
She began to cry then, great wracking sobs, as she started to remember. Rhysthiel did not envy her, or even stay to comfort her. Instead the elder Priestess pulled herself to her feet with the aid of her staff and made for the road.
Autumnleaf indeed.

Dec 18th - Diplomacy
Maurice Skelton woke up groggy. It was still dark but the bloody bird was singing outside his window again. Being city-born, Maurice wasn’t quite sure what sort of bird it was. A nightingale? He had read about those, singing at night. Whatever it was, it had woken him up three nights in a row and even when he had looked out of the window with an eye to chasing the damn thing off he couldn’t see it.

Im a big fan of Diablo. Hope Diablo has a long run much more than Blizzard updates Druid. Amazon, and Assassin. So, i painted 4 different tiers of Druids. Just for fun!
