yes! ae collects anything and everything. there are many many jars of Things and Objects in vaer room and aer pockets are simply full of Stuff. aer collection is. vast and infinite. if something isn't in vaer collection yet it WILL be.

well i'm glad you asked! they care not for the opinions of others. many people are impressed by their skill with windows but they don't do that for the acclaim they do it for the love of the job.

28. what is something that helps to comfort them?

washing windows is very theraputic for them. the up and down, the back and forth, the dirty to clean. also their husband. also the routine of their life is just generally so set in stone that the cycle of road, town, road, home is so nice.

listen this isn't fair to any other member of the pond family when plum, with the chubbiest fucking cheeks in the world, exists. but also nettle lovelove,

wow i do LOVE aer stories of rest especially the stone soup one... reflavoring song of rest as bedtime stories is the best thing i've ever done and stone soup especially in oakenfell is. made me emotional.

something foamy. what's the ariana grande cloud coffee? that thing.

probably. i don't want to say angry but would just be very frustrated? when people make stupid mistakes especially ones that endanger other people out on patrol, and also when vana, who's another high-level cloudkeeper they are firmly coworkers with, disagrees with them on what's clearly the best option for protecting the court. however this is mostly frustration and they just go out and kick a building bc it's unprofessional to be angry.

19. have they ever been in love?

no they have a job. they think the blacksmith is attractive and hardworking but they're busy like. saving the court.

harlowe is pretty in tune with his body but does view it as just like. a tool. but he is maybe the best in the world at strength. he's also maybe the worst in the world at psyche he has no fucking clue what is going on in his mind at any point past "wow. gotta do my job."

ekky is in tune with both but there's not a lot going on in either

30. how do they act when they’re overwhelmed?

harlowe is so overwhelmed whenever anyone tries to talk to him. he does not like it and would rather keep eating mice (bugs). he generally stiffens up and does whatever it takes to get them to stop talking to him aka usually answering difficult, intrusive questions like "what's your name"

ekky is overwhelmed by loud noises and bright colors they usually summon an echo to hold their hand so they don't feel so overwhelmed.

neither of them are ever overwhelmed in battle, though.

31. do they ever lash out at people?

harlowe doesn't because harlowe doesn't "talk" to "people" and if there's an issue he will solve it himself (with his big sword)

ekky will sometimes but it's very infrequent and usually short-lived

harlowe: duty.

ekky: curiosity and the joy of discovery. also friendship (for kat, teri, and rina)

4. what is their comfort food?

for the windowwasher, a homemade meal by their husband. for cas, something hot and warm from a hotel kitchen surrounded by her crewmates (it used to just be amias, but it's grown). for nephel, there's a fried meat pie type situation you can get in the Court of Endless Sky - they like the ones from the food cart tucked near the edge of town best and will treat themself to one after a hard day of patrols. for kennedi, the croissants her chef from ffrance (fantasy france) makes her for her hangovers <3. for eden, either a brownie ophelia has made from her perfected recipe or ada's cooking (she's really good when she's in the mood to make food for other people).

25. are they a clean/tidy person?

the windowwasher is maybe the cleanest person in the world and super organized. cas is clean and likes to be tidy but there is some level of not being tidy on a pirate ship she has come to terms with (not entirely yet). nephel is tidy but in a "they don't own many things so they can't be messy when they have like four pieces of clothing" way. kennedi is so messy and has never once cleaned in her life. eden is very neat and tidy and is constantly picking up after other people.

33. when creating your character, did you take inspiration from characters in other media? or just other media in general? name them, if any!

i LOVE this question - i don't usually? i try to build them for the world and see what needs to be in the party but i also for sure have classes i like more than others. sometimes songs are a part of it but that usually comes after creation and helps me coalesce characters. i'm not usually like. oh i want to make a never love an anchor by the crane wives character (mostly because that'd be insane to make a character based on That Song) but i do sometimes find songs fit better than i expected? if that makes sense. i will sometimes go off of other media in a tropes way like runaway princess or fucked up little man but not usually other characters specifically. this is so general and i don't even know if it's true hope this helps,

primrose pond last cried at seeing the giants again after coming out of drachenherz's tomb because it was like. wow nature really IS healing. look it's my giant besties. hi giants!! okay we are talking and i am crying. yknow?

eden honey (for you) is so good at controlling her emotions. maybe the best in the world. she is however 17 and discovered that her mother who abandoned her when she was 4 is alive, 300 years old, and living down the street as a drug dealer so she's kind of going through a lot.

eden honey gets a latte w honey instead of sugar - sometimes she mixes it up and gets it w oat milk or soy milk or coconut milk and whether she gets it hot or iced rly depends on the season and time of day but it’s always got lots of milk and lots of honey

addison ward gets espresso or whatever i said in juniper ridge server - something w a ton of caffeine and not a lot of fluff

cas if she drank coffee Would get something with a ton of fluff the thing is i don’t know coffee but it’s sweet and dark at the same time idk

i've been picturing her as having like. absolutely so light blue eyes that, per the players handbook, are calculating but in such a way where she can absolutely switch from that dumb doe eyed "you're gonna have to explain that to me again simpler" look to just an narrow-eyed going to eat you alive and let you watch expression in an instant.

slutty <3 but fucntional! her party clothes are very different from her like. going to class clothes but she's very preppy and extremely put together and matches her shoes to her top to her handbag. i don't know clothes <3
