GET MORE SPECIFIC WITH YOUR ADS TO GET MORE RESPONSE
----------------------------------------------
For instance, which of these statements has more appeal?
1/ “This diet could help you lose weight”
Tumblr media
Or
2/ “Lose 5kgs of fat in 5 weeks with this diet”
1/ Vagueness is meh ...innit?
It's totally unmemorable.
2/ Real, tangible statements are much more betterer! 😂 They're appealing, they offer achievable, concrete results, stick in people’s minds and tend to have a ring of truth to them.
To get the best response, avoid generalisations and be as specific as possible.
Whaddya reckon??

Do you know what I do?
Hey there, something happened the other day that got me thinking... Which means that I have a question for you my lovely digital friends..
Do you know what I do in my business?
Many of you like my posts, especially, the ones where I get the sh#ts and have a rant. Lol
And, many of you engage with me on social media, but do you really know what I do, how I help people in my business and who I help?
If you think you have a good idea- what would you say I do?
It occurred to me that unless you know me really really well, I may well be playing the mysterious femme fatale too well..haha
And that means that you’ll never know if I can help you or one of your friends.
So now, I feel bad to think that maybe I COULD help you achieve your business goals - but for some reason I haven’t explained myself well here. Doh!
So I’d love to hear what YOU think I do in my business.

Advice from An Old Farmer that applies to business too.
Your fences need to be horse-high, pig-tight and bull-strong.
Life is simpler when you plow around the stump.
A bumble bee is considerably faster than a John Deere tractor.
Words that soak into your ears are whispered… not yelled.
Meanness don’t jes’ happen overnight.
Forgive your enemies; it messes up their heads.
Do not corner something that you know is meaner than you.
It don’t take a very big person to carry a grudge.
You cannot unsay a cruel word.
Every path has a few puddles.
When you wallow with pigs, expect to get dirty.
The best sermons are lived, not preached.
Most of the stuff people worry about ain’t never gonna happen anyway.
Don’t judge folks by their relatives.
Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.
Live a good, honorable life… Then when you get older and think back, you’ll enjoy it a second time.
Don ‘t interfere with somethin’ that ain’t bothering you none.
Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a Rain dance.
If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop diggin’.
Sometimes you get, and sometimes you get got.
The biggest troublemaker you’ll probably ever have to deal with, watches you from the mirror every mornin’.
Always drink upstream from the herd.
Good judgment comes from experience, and a lotta that comes from bad judgment.
Lettin’ the cat outta the bag is a whole lot easier than puttin’ it back in.
If you get to thinkin’ you’re a person of some influence, try orderin’ somebody else’s dog around..
Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply.
Don’t pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he’ll just kill you.
Most times, it just gets down to common sense

*** Facebook Training ***
--------------------------------------
.
It goes without saying that FB is a great advertising platform for business owners.
.
Trying to do business via FB without paid ads is very hard. It's what FB business is all about.
.
And, the platform of 2.4billipn people, offers you a very very mixed audience.
.
If you just send an ad out to every man and his dog, then you're not going to get a good ROI.
.
Imagine it like this.. paying to advertise a new range of organic, hand made creams in Greyhound Racing Weekly magazine .. is not the best way to go about it.
.
This is where you need to Target your ads to your specific audiences.
.
*** Targeting your audience ***
----------------------------------------------------
.
A good Facebook ad has a specific audience.
.
Here's how to quickly and easily create the ideal targeted audience for your ads.
.
Take notes.😜
.
Every service you offer probably has more than one target audience. Don’t market to just one, diversify who you are talking to.
.
________________________
.
*** The basics ***
.
Language and location.
.
If you sell your services online you can target anyone who speaks your language of choice.
.
Expand your reach to other continents and other time zones, people who want your services won’t care what time you do your work as long as you are giving them solutions to their problems.
.
________________________
.
Target all your ads to both genders unless it’s obvious to start with one specific gender. If you are selling “male supplements”, target men. If you have a service that can serve both, then target both genders.
.
_________________________
.
Chose the age range of your target audience.
.
If your product appeals to a huge range of people, create different audiences based on decades. So 18-30, 30-40, 40-50 etc.
When we talked about diversifying your audiences. This a great place to do it.
.
You may be surprised when the audience you thought would respond to your ads dont.
.
This recently happened to a client of mine. We diversified his audience thinking that the younger group would be more interested in his service, instead it was the audience about 15 years older.
.
Test different markets. Never guess or assume you know. Test your ads on different audiences and see who responds.
.
___________________________
.
Your audiences interests :
.
This is where your research is needed.
.
Pick at least one guru from your industry, one magazine, one website, and one behavior (eg. Stay at home parent, recently divorced, looking for work, etc) and enter them into the interests and behavior section.
.
If one of the, gurus, or websites doesn't come up, move on to the next one until you have an interest that Facebook recognizes.
.
This is your audience.
.
This is where the magic happens.
.
Do this for all of your audiences.
.
___________________________
.
Just below the interests section uncheck the box that says “expand interests when it may increase conversions at a lower cost per conversion”
.
You want to know what you are targeting for your audience, if you expand interests then you won’t know what Facebook expanded to and you won’t be able to recreate the audience.
.
Don’t rely on Facebook for your successful ads, know what interests work for your audience.
.

Poppies for The Unknown Warriors
On November 7th, 1920, in strictest secrecy, four unidentified British bodies were exhumed from temporary battlefield cemeteries at Ypres, Arras, the Aisne and the Somme.
None of the soldiers who did the digging were told why.
The bodies were taken by field ambulance to GHQ at Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise. Once there, the bodies were draped with the union flag.
Sentries were posted and Brigadier-General Wyatt and a Colonel Gell selected one body at random. The other three were reburied.
A French Honour Guard was selected and stood by the coffin of the chosen soldier overnight.
On the morning of the 8th November, a specially designed coffin made of oak from the grounds of Hampton Court arrived and the Unknown Warrior was placed inside.
On top was placed a crusaders sword and a shield on which was inscribed:
"A British Warrior who fell in the GREAT WAR 1914-1918 for King and Country".
On the 9th of November, the Unknown Warrior was taken by horse-drawn carriage through Guards of Honour and the sound of tolling bells and bugle calls to the quayside.
There, he was saluted by Marechal Foche and loaded onto HMS Vernon bound for Dover. The coffin stood on the deck covered in wreaths, surrounded by the French Honour Guard.
Upon arrival at Dover, the Unknown Warrior was met with a nineteen gun salute - something that was normally only reserved for Field Marshals.
A special train had been arranged and he was then conveyed to Victoria Station, London.
He remained there overnight, and, on the morning of the 11th of November, he was finally taken to Westminster Abbey.
The idea of the unknown warrior was thought of by a Padre called David Railton who had served on the front line during the Great War the union flag he had used as an altar cloth whilst at the front, was the one that had been draped over the coffin.
It was his intention that all of the relatives of the 517,773 combatants whose bodies had not been identified could believe that the Unknown Warrior could very well be their lost husband, father, brother or son...
THIS is the reason we wear poppies.
We do not glorify war.
We remember - with humility - the great and the ultimate sacrifices that were made, not just in this war, but in every war and conflict where our service personnel have fought - to ensure the liberty and freedoms that we now take for granted.
Every year, on the 11th of November, we remember the Unknown Warrior.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them.
