Hi! It's probably one of the fics I've been the most excited to write lately? It's also a lot of fun even if a little bit scary, because soulmates is not a trope I ever expected to write about, it's not really my thing, and this is already triple as long as the longest fic I've written in the past few years but I am excited for it to be out there! Which I hope will be soon(ish) considering I wanted it out by tomorrow lmao tagging this will be a nightmare, it doesn't have a title and my doc is a mess because I write parts of it when inspiration strikes which includes taking notes of it on my work computer in a hidden note that I then send to myself so it's incredibly chaotic, but I still hope it'll be enjoyable to read :')

Hahha omg the plane crash episode 😂 yeah I can see how that would be confusing. Yes there’s a lot of season but honesty’s the earlier ones up until like 7 or 8 are my favourites. Prime era, as with a lot of shows in my opinion. The earlier seasons is always where it’s at. Ah yeah I’ve heard a lot about orphan black but never watched it myself. Never heard of Fringe.

I guess they aren't! I might go back to uni and study some more once I forget the Experience tm that was studying there the first time but it still wouldn't be forensics or anything like it 😂 art history my beloved, may we reunite one day

Ballet I feel is one of those things you do for very little time or a lot ngl I "only" ended up doing for like 8 years, which was half my life at that point, and if I had continued I would be at 16 or so :') I think it's very cool when we can continue doing the things we love for a long time, having fun with things you enjoy for +20 is the dream honestly

It'll be a matter of carrying on doing it, no one will be as annoying as I will and maybe that will pay off 😎

My personal theory is that most shows should end after 5 seasons, 7 max for some of them, so I'm not surprised that's where the good things are! I will keep it in mind too, I need to pick another TV show I can have as background noise while I embroider or do something else 👀 Orphan black is really cool honestly, and Fringe is too, but I'm not surprised you don't know it, I feel like it was a very niche TV show that I probably shouldn't have been watching when I was 10 😂 it's half cop show half science fiction and it is very disgusting at times but it's so incredibly good, it's been my fave show since I watched it. It's not for everyone though but I managed to somehow get all my family on board 😂

I'm happy to hear that! A typical Monday is probably the best thing one can ask for ngl. I had a nice week and went with my sister on a trip so I wasn't too much on my phone but it was really fun ^^ do you have anything exciting coming up? ❤️

How excited were you this morning to see Luke get nominated for the Calder?

Yeah, I was really excited for him. I think he deserves it. I had a pretty good rookie year, but I think his year might have been better than mine. I feel like I was sheltered a little bit. I played with Tanev, and we had a pretty good team. And I think that he did a really good job this year, and he deserves it. I don't know what he ended up with points wise, but I think that the way he defended at the end of the last 20, 30 games was really impressive. I mean, he's got such a long reach, he can skate. And at 23, 24, he's gonna be a special player, and you guys are gonna have to stat check me. But I think that he might have been on the ice for 20 empty net goals too. So again, stat check me on that, cuz I'm not sure. But as far as the plus minus, I think a lot of those things are skewed.

I remember you saying years back that of the three of you, he's got the most potential. Do you think he's still got ways to grow?

He's got, yeah, ways to grow, of course, because he's 20 years old. And it's just young, and you gotta make sure that you stay healthy, and you're continuing to grow as a person and mentally as your game. And you can't stay the same. But as far as what I saw this year, what I said defensively, he's got things that he can do that I can't do with how long he is in his reach, and how hard he is to beat or take wide. And then offensively, I think he's gonna continue to get better. I think you'll see him up there with some of the best guys the next couple years.
