"It does feel nostalgic, and it also kind of fills me with pride to be able to be able to come back on my own and play these shows. I haven't played a single show in South America that hasn't been a 10/10 energy atmosphere. I'm really lucky to be able to have that kind of atmosphere with every experience over here."

"It's tough at times, but the feeling and thrill that I get from either writing songs or playing the shows, that far outweighs the pressure and all the negative. Of course there is negatives, and sometimes there's stress, but it's not really worth focusing on because those moments of high are just so immersive, it kind of trumps all of that."
-Louis on how he feels living his life in the spotlight. (6 April 2024)
"I don't know, I think that's probably a better question for my fans. Hopefully I've created, in terms of the live experiences, some memorable nights for people, that would make me proud."
-Louis on the legacy he hopes to leave behind after his show in Argentina. (6 April 2024)
"I kind of write and act how what I like to listen to, as a listener myself. I'm not really the type of guy that listens to a single here and a single there, I do like waiting for the album, then listen to the album top to bottom, I'm quite old fashioned like that. It's not really the modern way but I think it all builds up to the identity. I think it's important."
-Louis on the difficulty of album composition. (6 April 2024)
"I've tried to relax a bit more on that, don't get me wrong, we all want our music to be heard by as many people as possible, and a lot of the time that's getting on a big playlist. I wouldn't say I never go into a creative space and think let's write a song that will end up on a playlist. For me, when I'm thinking about any individual song, it's more of a body of work, I'm thinking about the album and how each song contributes to that."
-Louis on whether he feels pressure to get a #1 album or get onto big playlists. (6 April 2024)
"Yeah, to a degree. I think I landed on something with Faith In The Future, because I felt like, that was me really following my musical instinct. And it seems that when I'm doing what I want to do, hopefully that feeling is infectious and I more back from the crowd within those musical moments that I'm really really enjoying, so I think mostly I'm just lucky enough to be able to have a fanbase that are gonna listen to me in the way that they do."
-Louis if he keeps in mind what his fans want from his music while writing. (6 April 2024)
"I think I felt most of that pressure off my first record, coming out of One Direction and trying to navigate that whole thing. What was really nice about making Faith In The Future is I think I kind of stripped a bit of that pressure. Don't get me wrong, I'm still really ambitious, I still want to achieve great things, but I'm trying as I get a bit older to put a little bit less pressure on myself."
-Louis on whether he feels pressure for maintaining success. (6 April 2024)
"I think it was the way that I was brought up, to a degree. My mom always encouraged me to look at the glass half full. Sometimes it's obviously more challenging than others, but I think optimism is a good thing."
-Louis on how he keeps 'faith in the future' given the grim state of the world nowadays. (6 April 2024)
"Honesty for me is kind of the easiest way for me to write, as a lyricist. When I was reflecting on my first record, it felt kind of weighty, it felt heavy emotionally, and I wanted to try and make something that felt a little more optimistic and hopeful. I actually had the title Faith In The Future before I'd written any of the songs, which is nice because that kind of set the tone for what I was about to write."
