Please help me learn some English phrases!

Because English is not my first language I can’t reply so fast to a funny sentence or an important moment and it’s so disappointing that I couldn’t be funny in many situation. Two weeks later I will go to the USA for 3 months and I worry about this. But before I go I wanna prepare a little bit!

Please English speakers, tell me some phrases you find important in a funny or general situation when you need to respond!

It would be a great help!

Tegnap csodálatos időnk volt. Édesanyámmal elmentünk Bakonybélbe a bencés monostorhoz és meglátogattuk újból a Szent-kutat, ami csak pár perc sétára van a falutól. Mindeközben megvolt a napi jó cselekedet, egy elhagyott telefont visszajuttattunk a tulajdonosához.

Míg anya beszélgetett az egyik szerzetes testvérrel, addig én az ima labirintusban töltekezhettem.

Soo I’m gonna go to the USA with a student exchange program for 3 month and I’m freaked out!!!!

I’ve never been abroad so long and so far away

I’ve never been among native english speaker before

I’ll be in the middle of the Rocky Mountains so there will be no internet and cell service only weekends

And I’ve never been such distant from my friends and family

But it’s a good opportunity to improve my skills…

Bakker, alhatok a kutya mellett

Este volt már, a házban rajtam kívül mindenki aludt. Átosz is aludt a terszon, ezért én ügyesen átléptem, hogy ne zavarjam meg. Csupán csak egy póló meg egy alsó gatya volt rajtam, de nem fáztam, nagyon meleg volt este is. Kiültem a gyepre és csak csodáltam a felettem húzódó csillagos eget. Rég találkoztam vele, hiszen a nagy városban az ember már teljesen elvesztette a kapcsolatát az éggel. A távolban némán villámlott. Pár mérfölddel odébb nagy bulit csaphattak a láthatatlanok. Lassan közeledett felénk a vihar, de továbbra is némán, hogy ne zavarja meg az alvó falut. Visszafeküdtem az ágyamba, de az ablakot nyitva hagytam, hogy halljam majd, ha eljön az eső, de nem is kellett sokat várni rá. Újra kimentem a teraszhoz, hogy át tereljem a kutyát az első bejárathoz, ahol nem ázik meg. Magától nem ment volna, mert éppen a legszebb álmát aludta. Nem is örült neki, hogy felkeltettem, de nekem is nehéz volt egy 70 kilós kómás kutyát arréb tennem, megkerülve a házat. Sikeresen odébb cipeltem, ám belegondolva, ezt ő is megtehette volna, ha már igazán zavarja az eső. Mindegy, már ott volt.

Visszasétáltam a hátsó bejárathoz, ahol kijöttem, de ekkor döbbentem rá, hogy ezt bizony valaki bezárta belülről. Gondoltam, hogy a kutya már legalább biztos túléli, de ha most nem enged be valaki a házba, akkor vagy szétfagyok az esőben vagy alhatok Átosz mellett egy alsógatyában és egy pólóban. Inkább kopogtam és meghallották. Anya jött nézett, nézelődött, és ekkor a helyzetemtől függetlenül nagyon mókás volt, ahogy megijedve elbújt a fal mögött. Elképzeltem, hogy kijön félkómásan, kinéz a terasz üveges ajtaján és egy villámok fényében sziluettező alsógatyás testet lát, aki kopog a bebocsájtásért. Hát én is besz@rtam volna a helyében!

We have a deep conversation about vegetarian lifestyle. I wanted to tell my thoughts for long long time, eventually one of them ask me what was that I wanted to say. Then I started to explain my motivation why I decided to try vegetarianism.

Ofc the other one of them just cut into my words and said “Let’s talk about witch nike is fake!”

So typical situation in my life 😩
