Ignoring the weird thigh grab, I’d like to point out that this is the only existing image we have of a happy Saihara. This weird, shippy, “we’re taking the moon” promotional art (can i call it ‘searching for the moon’? That’s cute, okay)

i made this tumblr when i was 14. It’s been 7 years since then: i’m 21 now. i made a lot of dumb posts on this blog, looking back on it. as someone who has been using the internet for a long time, here’s some advice about it:

don’t make anything solely for attention. see, people will tell you to create because you want to, but that’ll only get you so far. there’s a balance to be had. it’s perfectly normal to want attention for the things you make, but if you make something solely for it, it’ll be soulless. especially if you make something just to be seen by a popular creator. don’t bother.

don’t engage with “the haters.” there will be some opinions you have that seem so obvious they might as well be fact. but this is the internet and people will argue with you. you are not weak, nor are you “losing” by blocking them.

make what you want. upload that “cringe” fanfiction. make that overpowered self-insert. ship oc x canon. i used to religiously follow this danganronpa oc “critique” blog but all the “critique” was shitting on young artists and saying about how awful oc x canon was and i still think about it.

no one is entitled anything from you. if you’re neurodivergent, your myers-briggs, your exact age. people don’t need it. never share more than you are comfortable with.

build your personality around love. making your hatred of something a key part of who you are will make you miserable.

and most of all, just have fun.

Honestly having thoughts of making a new tumblr. This URL embarrasses me, and I would frankly like to have one that doesn’t.
