Thanks to the wiki calling the Battlefield's final form a "Mobius Net", I was able to track down the source image for the edit: the sculptor Bathsheba Grossman calls it a "Mobius strip made out of a Voronoi network". I can't pinpoint when she originally hosted the image online, but this brief commentary on her work (posted Aug 19, 2010) predates our first glimpse of the post-Jade Battlefield (page 2948, posted Nov 30, 2010) by about 3 months. The model is available on her website if you wanna download it for your own purposes

The thing I’ve just learned from HS^2 is that Jake has never been in a relationship or had sex at any point in his life
He is a virgin and this means nothing

I think aliens are a fun concept to think about. Little guys in space.
"Yeah, well, you know what I really like, too? When a star doesn't have planets."
"What, a binary star?"
"Oh, you think that's what I like? I prefer things that look like this. A couple of stars very close to each other." [S]

[homestuck image description: a screenshot from the website of the project containing the book homestuck. the text says “Homestuck was published by Andrew Hussie on may 15, 2009. It is an interminable fanfic about teenagers playing an on-line computer game. (Andrew Hussie wrote it with an uncredited assist from Dave Strider. and his wife). The first three pages of the book are on the website and are described in the description, which continues with a text saying "Homestuck was published on may 13, 2009 in the UK and on may 14, 2009 in the United States. It is one of the longest fan fiction series ever written and is currently at 1.5 million words.”]
