It is 78 feet by 297 feet—roughly the length of two city blocks—with 52-foot-tall ceilings displaying murals of vibrant skies and billowing clouds. In my dream I am one of the lucky books stored under this glorious piece of Heaven 🤓 🙏🏼

Last Fall at Central Park

I stumbled upon this mural and it made me wonder about Annie Moore. She came to New York from #Ireland when was 15 years old. Annie was the first immigrant to be inspected and have her details recorded. More than 12 millions immigrants followed between 1892 and 1954. Today, the descendants of these immigrants account for nearly HALF of the current population in United States. Isn't that amazing? I hope Annie had had a good life 🍂
