I keep saying "I'm back" repeatedly and then leaving for days/months on end. I had a plan for the Levi x Reader but idk if anyone really cares to read the next part you know? I guess I've just lacked the motivation to finish it, I have the next chapter started but it feels so rushed. I tend to rush through the plot to get to the point that I actually want to write about.

In conclusion, would you guys like me to finish the Levi series?

“I’ll be okay.”

It was suffocating. You were suffocating. The child in your stomach filled you with so much overwhelming joy. With so much anxiousness. You felt like you would throw up any second and it wasn’t because of morning sickness. The thought of taking care of a baby with the love of your life was exhilarating. Enough to bring a smile on your face.

But you were scared. Terrified that this baby would not bring happiness. Terrified that it would tear you away from Levi.

“Looks like you’re six weeks in ma’am. We can set up an appointment for next week to do your first ultrasound.”

You were sat up on the hospital bed. You hadn’t looked up at the doctor since your change in position. Your eyes were dull, and dark eye bags highlighted your lack of sleep.

This was supposed to be a joyous moment in your life. You were about to be a mom, well if you kept the baby that is. But all this brought was an excessive amount of emotions that gave you a headache. You loved Levi so much and you know he loved you just as much, you didn’t doubt it for a second. But there was one annoying part of you that thought that Levi would leave. That he wouldn’t want to be a father.

Of course that was entirely his choice. The question was would you keep the baby even without him there. Raise them as a single mother. You might, you’ve always wanted to be a mother. The love your parents showed you when you were young, how happy you all were as a family was an indicator enough that you wanted one for yourself, a family. This realization was like a slap in the face, a punch in the gut, but also a relief in itself.

You would do this, you would keep the baby whether Levi was there or not. No matter how much the thought of him not raising your baby together hurt you.

Imagining it now caused a hole to form in your stomach, no Levi. No father for your child. No family Halloween costumes, no family Christmas pajamas. You wouldn’t watch your child’s dance recitals or basketball games together. You wouldn’t talk to Levi about how fast time flies and how you can’t believe how much they’ve grown.

You needed to stop thinking like this, you haven’t told Levi you were pregnant. The future isn’t set and stone. But you knew whatever happened, you were going to be a mother to this baby.

It's kind of scary how quickly time flies. One second, you’re laughing with your friends and the next you’re sitting in your bed contemplating how long the year has been the mistakes you’ve made, and the things you want to fix about yourself.  It was insane how easily you could come up with the bad, all the bad things you did that year, the mistakes you made, the mistakes he made.

You couldn't think of one happy moment without him, and even now those happy moments were all shattered with the tears that flowed out of your eyes so seemingly elegant. One after the other it would have been a beautiful sight, you looked so graceful when you cried. It was a sight that all men and women around the world would love to see.

You had the image of a delicate flower, one touch and you would break, and this, this is what you looked like broken. Choked sobs coming from your mouth, mascara lined your cheeks. It was like looking at a broken picture frame, although broken it was still so majestic, I couldn’t take my eyes off.  

But why were you weeping so continuously? It hurt, although beautiful, looking at someone so elegantly broken was heart-rending. You must be confused, lost even, I know I would be. How could I describe this? Beautifully broken, I would describe this as being so broken they wailed until they realized that there are no tears left, and they lay, they ignore the world, they feel miserable, so miserable that although they are smiling, they won't allow themselves to get help.  

Beautifully broken was the only way I could describe the human being weeping on their bed, looking at a picture of the one who shattered their heart with no remorse for the other’s feelings. Taking away the soul Y/n offered them and leaving a broken and irreparable heart that used to only beat for that man and that man alone.  

I could say, was as infatuated with Y/n as much as Y/n themself. He would refer to them as his future wife, the love of his life, his rock, his life span. So, what in the world possessed him to do something that would shatter Y/n’s heart so mercilessly? In all honestly, I don’t know.  

Their love was so beautiful. It was like watching two doves dancing together by a lake. People would say they were soulmates. That there was a red string attached to both letting fate led them to one another. A beautiful story that the two love birds believed and smiled at every time they heard it. It baffled me that this love story was over with a not so happy ending. Book closed, never to be opened again. That’s what Y/n wanted.

But as they sat on their bed tear-stained face staring outside the larger window of the apartment a permanent frown on their face. They watched as fireworks erupted in the sky colors beautifully put together, and she couldn’t help but remember the first New Year's they and Eren had together.  

Eren was so nervous and it made Y/n giggle when they saw how uptight he was. “Calm down, I don’t bite.” It was a sweet memory shared between the two of them as they laughed together blowing up fireworks and lighting up sparklers. It was such a beautiful night that they ended up sleeping in the same bed. Bodies encased in a warm blanket as they drifted off to sleep with a smile on their face.

“HAPPY NEW YEAR”

The screaming that erupted from outside was a sign that it was officially 2022, and although the saying went “New Year new me” Y/n wasn’t the type to let go of the past, and they so desperately wished that someone anyone could erase the memory of Eren in bed with someone else. So, they could both be together on this New Year’s and cuddle up like nothing happened.

But Y/n knew it was an empty dream because no matter how hard they tried to forget that night was engraved into their mind, and they wanted nothing more than to get a clear explanation. It was the least Eren deserved, but confrontation was something Y/n wasn’t good at. And when Eren wouldn’t have a good excuse, they would break down right in front of him showing them how truly weak and vulnerable he made them feel and that truly disgusted them.  

To be so shattered over a man, it was pathetic, but Y/n trusted their heart and soul to him, and all he did was stomp all over it.

Beautifully broken, they were so beautifully broken.

"Saito catch me!"

You and Saito had been bestfriends since childhood. You guys had done everything together. Stuck together like glue. You guys had been there for each other through the happiest and toughest times.

“SAITO WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR FACE”

There was a scar coming across the bridge of his nose and all Saito did was rub the back of his neck sheepishly.

It had been obvious to your parents and to your friends at the time that you and Saito really liked each other. It was bound to happen sooner or later.

“I like you, do you want to be my girlfriend”

The confession had shocked you. You had spent days in your room trying to get over the crush you had on your bestfriend because you thought he would never like you back. So you thought the best course of action would be to bottle up these feelings until they disappeared because you didn’t want to ruin your friendship.

If it was even possible after you guys started dating you had gotten even closer. But it didn’t last very long. When you and Saito got accepted into the cooking school of your dreams everything changed.

Girls started noticing him, asking to hang out or for his number. You were jealous, you knew you shouldn’t have been since he was your boyfriend and not theirs so you never brought it up. But then he joined the Elite Ten, and you joined the Polar Star dormitory.

At that point you two were part of completely different worlds. He was literally famous in this school, and everyone else considered you a nobody. Saito never had time for you anymore, and your relation turned into one in name only.

You had cried to your dorm mates about it. Asking for advice on what to do. But they said if this is hurting you so much you should just break it off. It’s not worth staying in a relationship with someone who didn’t have time for you.

And so that’s what you did. You broke up with him, and you tried to forget the way he happily greeted you and the way his face fell at the news. You knew you should have, but you didn’t wait for an answer knowing he would persuade you to stay. 

And now you’re trying to heal from your first heartbreak. Trying to forget about the man who stole your heart. But instead of that you stole longing looks at your ex-boyfriend and he would return them. It was much harder to forget about him then you thought it would be.

You didn’t know what to do, you wanted to be with him again so bad. Feeling strange the way you guys don’t even talk to each other anymore. But you didn’t want a repeat of the last time. You wanted someone who actually cared, and it didn’t feel like Saito did.

So this time, you would bottle it up. Close yourself off, and hope that this time the feelings in the bottle would actually disappear.

They looked at you like you were gum on the bottom of their shoe. You didn’t ask to be here. You didn’t ask to fall in love. You didn’t ask for any of this. You just wanted to live peacefully. A life of quiet solitude, but when have you ever gotten what you wanted.

Because just like you wanted him, the world snatched him away too.

Notes: I’m back!!! I’ve been gone for about two months I would like to apologize. I’ve had major writers block and I’ve been having second thoughts on my Levi story. I want to continue it as I had really loved the idea, and the angst is just about to start and that’s always my favorite part. I just feel like it’s moving very slowly and I don’t know if you guys are interested anymore. On a second note I’ve gotten a lot of support and new followers and I would like to thank you guys and welcome everyone here and I hope you enjoy my writing!

“it’s too much”

You were terrified, hands shaking, palms sweaty. So much confusion and distress from just two lines appearing a stick. But, you had taken at least 5 of these tests and the two lines were the only things coming up. Tears ran down your face, and your eyes were blurry with unshed ones. 

How could you be pregnant now? You loved kids, and loved the thought of being a mother but you knew Levi wasn’t ready to be a father. It was also so early, way too early to be having kids. You were still trying to get your degree for petes sake, a baby would change the whole course of your life...

Of both of your lives.

How were you going to tell Levi? What was he going to say? You would have to hide it. You needed to sort out your thoughts before saying anything to him. Did you want to keep the baby? Are you ready for this type of responsibility?

The conversation months ago played through your head. “Maybe in the future but it’s too early now”. Is it still too early? Of course it is. The conversation wasn’t even a year ago. But shouldn’t he be happy about bringing a new life into this world? But its not about that, its about his future, whether he’s ready for this sudden change.

You sat on the bathroom floor brain whirling with questions, and contradicting yourself while asking them. You felt like you were losing your mind. The anxiety of telling your boyfriend was too much, and the decision of keeping the baby weighed heavily on your shoulders.

You touched your stomach a frown on your face as you stared at the ground with furrowed brows.

“Well I guess I’ll have to figure it out soon”

“Just wait a little longer”

“I’m home” Levi called out. He had been working late hours now that he inheritited his fathers business, and you have been at home alone studying.

“Love? Where are you?” Levi had begun to search for you throughout your shared apartment after not receiving an answer from his entrance. He walked into your office and saw you sleeping on your desk. Hands crossed and being used as a pillow for your head. He brushed his fingers through your hair and admired your peaceful face.

He knew you were working as hard as you could to earn your degree, but he was worried you had been pushing yourself a little too hard. Levi crouched down to your level and stroked your cheek, whispering your name so you would wake up. He watched as your face scrunched up after a few seconds and how your eyes fluttered open to stare at him in a sleepy daze.

“Levi?”

“Yes love I’m home”

You wrapped your arms around his neck and lightly tugged on his neck hairs to tell him you wanted to be carried. Levi hoisted you up, wrapping your legs around his waist and walked to your shared bedroom so you could take a nap together.

As you and Levi laid together in bed, you cuddled in his chest while he strokes the back of your neck. Fingers lightly tracing circles on your skin, lulling you to sleep. Levi kisses your forehead, and in a barley audible whisper you hear him say “I love you”. You softly smile, but too tired to answer back as you were already asleep a few seconds later.

“Levi what do you think about kids”. The question had come out of no where, shocking Levi out of his trance. You both were sitting at your dinner table quietly eating and enjoying each others company. The sudden question breaking the silence startles him.

It had officially been a year since you guys moved in together. Twenty year olds still as in love as they were in the beginning and nothing was going to change that.

The question brought back memories from Levi’s childhood. He remembered being sixteen, utterly in love with a girl in his math class, someone he had dated for a year. Freshman to sophomore year they were inseparable. She had asked the same question. Levi being so young and so naive he said he didn’t mind as long as they stayed together.

The relationship ended when he found out she had been cheating on him for three months. It shattered him completely and walls were quickly built.

“I don’t know kids are nice I guess”. That wasn’t the answer you were expecting. Or really you didn’t know what answer you wanted. You liked kids, and you saw kids in your future with Levi. You thought he would be an amazing father. 

You only asked the question because you had gotten baby fever from all the Instagram babies you had seen lately.

“Do you want any kids” you tried pressing for a clearer answer from him. Wanting to know his exact thoughts.

“Maybe in the future but it’s too early now”

The answer didn’t hurt your feelings, it made sense. It had only been a year since you moves in with each other and you both were so young. You didn’t know what other answer you were expecting.

“Yea in the future” you gave Levi a soft smile. The atmosphere becoming tense and awkward for the rest of dinner.

“It was love at first sight.”

“You should read it, its a great book” the voice had come out of no where, cheery and loud, in the quiet and peaceful library. Levi had just picked out a book from the fantasy section, and barely glanced at the cover before the voice startled him. He did his best not to look irritated when he turned around to look at the culprit. 

When he had fully turned around it was like he was just punched in the gut, unable to catch his breath. There you were, standing in front of him with a bright smile on your face, rambling on about how good the book was, and how he “has to read it”.

“Could you leave me alone, thank you” his response had shocked you both. For you it was only momentary shock, eyes wide and mouth agape, startled out of your rant. But, it wasn’t that surprising he didn’t seem like the person who wanted to draw too much attention to himself. You had been watching him for a while now.

The first time he had come to the library you were returning some books you had borrowed. He had walked in with confidence, with an aura that told everyone to stay away. But, when you saw him it was like a magnet pulling towards the opposite pole, you being the north, and him being the south.

You had an inkling that he was an interesting one, but it might have also been his undeniably good looks that drew you in. He was very attractive, and you were very attracted. You would never admit that it took you two weeks to actually work up the nerve to talk to him, spending those two weeks either watching his movements -that had always appeared so graceful- or trying to boost your confidence to walk up to him.

Today, was finally the day that your nerves and negative thoughts silenced and you just walked up to him without a plan. And when you realized that, you blurted out the first thing that came to mind, and started nervously ranting trying to seem like you knew what you were talking about.

Levi was in shock at how quick the words came out without him even realizing it. He was flustered, as he had noticed this random girl steeling glances at him since he came her. It made him uncomfortable but he was also intrigued to find out why she was so interested in him.

When Levi recovered from his shock you were already smiling at him, waiting for his response, carefully watching his reaction. “Sorry I’ve just had a long day” his exhausted sigh was enough for you to believe him.

Levi watched as your smile never faded, watched as you held out your hand and stared as you lips moved with your next words. “My names Y/n nice to meet you”.

“LEVI CAN YOU HELP ME MOVE THIS DRESSER PLEASE”. Nineteen year olds moving in together, Levi taking over his fathers company and y/n who was still attending college to get her degree. Their future uncertain but all they knew was that they would be together forever. 

They had fallen so deeply in love with each other. Their opposite personalities being a perfect match. The magnet is as intact as it could be. Levi the south, cold as ice, unapproachable, and rude. And you, the north, bright and cheery, social and talkative. The perfect match.

They are so happy...

“Levi you have to smile when I take the picture ok” you and Levi were in your shared bathroom putting face masks on each other, you trying to take a picture with Levi behind you, arms rapped around your waist and head on your shoulder.

 “Ok ready, 3..2..1.. CHEESE!!!”

Levi watched as you looked over the picture, stared as a subconscious smile made its way onto your face, you were so beautiful. “It looks more like a smirk then a smile Levi” the teasing grin on your face made him roll his eyes, and untie his arms from around your waist.

“Whatever” he muttered under his breath which made you giggle and watch as he walked out of the bathroom. “I was just joking babe!” you ran after him and jumped onto his back rapping your arms around his neck, and giving him a quick peck on the cheek.

“You want to watch a movie” Levi felt like he was in heaven, his own little world and his entire life revolved around the best thing that has ever happened to him. “Sure”, he was so happy.

update: hello everyone! I just want to apologize for the long delay, classes just started again and its taking up a lot of my time.

I decided I would make the levi x reader a short fanfic and I wont be posting that until I have some (or all) of the chapters done
