when georges bataille wrote, “no greater desire exists than a wounded person’s need for another wound” & when gillian flynn wrote, “a child weaned on poison considers harm a comfort” & when ocean vuong wrote, “sometimes being offered tenderness feels like the very proof that you’ve been ruined” & when lisa m. basile wrote, “did you inherit a sickness? did you blame god? do you believe in god? do you believe in yourself? are you still on fire? did you ever put out the fire?” & when stephen a. guirgis wrote, “why didn't you make me good enough so that you could’ve loved me?”

Don't be sorry! I enjoyed the blurb a lot, and your writing in general is a treat to read!
And, with the earnest, most tender wording I can conjure: Thank you for your kind words, I deeply appreciate it
Edit: Don't worry about the derailment, seriously. Part of the beauty of posting in this particular medium is seeing how others develop from where you left it, like a note being passed by children in a classroom, and seeing it in real time was a joy to see.

Genuinely surprised this is all about MCYT, but very pleased. Lovely analysis!
I'll be honest (and a bit too vulnerable) with this, but I didn't expect someone to do such a extended, yet accurate, analysis on a silly little webweave I made, (ha!). This specific board is tied to a character from a story I'm writing, and I'll be lying if I didn't admit than that, too, is inspired by my own experiences with mental health, and very specifically delusions and trauma.
As silly (and perhaps a bit self-centered, I fear) as I sound, I find it heartwarming that someone took some of their time and passion to write something as wonderful as this analysis was, and to hear that it made them feel seen. That, really, is a joy I didn't quite expected to receive.
Thank you!

not that either is a good thing but there is a small cosmic sort of irony to appreciate in the way that the russian invasion of ukraine and the most recent nakba happened so close together and how they through comparison made it undeniably clear how much the definition of war crime and genocide and atrocity &etc depends on the geopolitical interests of the imperial core

Hi! I've been trying to find the owner of this image you used in a webweave. Do you happen to know? Have a nice day!
I'll be honest with you, I do not have the original creator. However, I'll look it up and see if I find them!
