That's how it should've been in canon. Harry belongs only to Tom. No other character, especially not a pathetic and dull one like Ginny should come between them.

Tomarrymort is the only HP ship that makes sense. All the others are rubbish. The canon ones suck because JKR is dreadful at writing romance, and the female characters are terrible. Every other fanon ship besides Tomarry lacks the parallels and substance this ship pulls straight from canon. Voldemort and Harry were made for each other.

It's not enough that illiterate morons try to downplay Bellatrix's power and relevance for someone as disposable in the end as Snape was. Now they're claiming Sirius, whose looks were completely wrecked by his time in prison, is better-looking than Bellatrix. That's just a way of saying you've got something against the character without being honest about it 🤦🏻‍♀️

I'm sick to death of this misogyny. They treat Bellatrix like she's some bloody dog. She spent a decade in Azkaban and still managed to keep her looks. She's the most attractive female character. Nobody is saying she's the ultimate witch, though I think she certainly is. But it's canon that she's strikingly gorgeous, to the point that years of confinement didn't wreck her beauty. She's incredibly strong and vain. Or in the minds of misogynists she can only be one and not the other.

If the books didn't focus on the narrative of the good side it would be glaringly obvious to the fandom how mediocre some characters are. Hermione isn't a genius just because she's academically intelligent. The Weasleys aren't the picture of a perfect family just because they're tight-knit. They're literally scraping by in poverty, and Molly killing the best Death Eater, while spending most of her time running a household and raising a brood of kids is bloody unrealistic. Voldemort is leagues stronger and more talented than Harry. Bellatrix is actually more gifted than Harry. There's a world of difference between characters who genuinely explored the world unbound by moral notions of good or bad magic, and those who felt entitled to ban spells and abilities because of potential consequences. A weaker mind, realistically, could never stand up to someone who doesn't cling to limits.

I find it hilarious watching the fandom scrape together endless justifications and made-up events to argue that two clearly straight men have some romantic spark. Even to the point of being soulmates. But then when it comes to analyzing canon pairs and why a character was so deeply involved with another, suddenly JKR is a rubbish writer! Or she can't write romance! Or the female characters are poorly written!

Just admit your only interest is seeing two guys shagging, regardless of who they are or their actual narratives.
