well, we’ve reached 5 0 0 followers, and i’d like to say thank you!

↳ because of a storm — fluff

now, he’d wanted to confess to you forever

but the timing never seemed right

you two had decided to watch some movies, eat some snacks

and just have a fun sleepover to catch up and spend time together

you guys were mid way through a movie

then the lights turned off

the tv shut off

and you two were stuck in the dark

not ideal

but yeonjun was determined to confess that night, he found some candles and lit them

there were three small candles flickering

their glowing lights making you both tired

you leaned your head into his shoulder and her smiled

he looked down and you and you looked up at him

istg he fell in love

he leaned in and looked at you in the eyes

you leaned up and pressed your lips to his and he giggled excitedly

“i really like you y/n.”

he was still trying to memorize a dance while hanging out with you

you were laying on the bed on your phone

as he played music and tried to perfect the dance more

at some point you sat up and turned to look at him

and as you did so

the lights suddenly shut off

now all you could see the sudden darkness present

and all you heard was the song soobin was dancing too still playing in the back ground

you both walked to the kitchen

to where you found one three wicked candle and lit it as you both chose to sit by the counter

you sat across from each other

his face looked especially handsome in the light yellow light emitted by the candles

you leaned forward and poked his cheek gently

he smiled and leaned closer, internally debating if he should just go for it

his heart pounded in his chest as you leaned in as well

“can i kiss you?”

you nodded, then immediately felt his lips against yours

being stuck in a dark practice room wasn’t ideal

the rain was pounded against the outside of the building

and nobody was allowed to leave until the heavy storm left

sure it wasn’t ideal

but on the bright side you were stuck with beomgyu

he kept it interesting with only candlelight you both laid on the cold hard floor and you watched as he drowsily recited the lyrics to blue orangeade

you giggled at his silliness and watched as he turned to face you as well

his eyelids were droopy and his lips were turned into a dopey smile

he stared at you, admiring your beauty in the candlelight

“y/n? can i kiss you?”

you smiled as you pulled yourself closer to his body

his arms wrapped around you and he leaned in

his lips lightly touching yours in a delicate kiss

he smiled into the kiss sleepily and then pulled you closer to him

trying to stay warm in the cold room

“may i do it again?”

this isn’t exactly how he planned on confessing

but it wasn’t the worst way

you both sat on his bed, with a few candles lit nearby

blankets around each of you

it was really damn cold in the dorms

he leaned his head on you and stayed there

you turned your head and placed a small kiss to his left cheek

you watched as his cheeks began to flush, the only sign of it being the way they darkened in the dimly lit room

he lifted his head up to look at you

his gaze soft and loving, unbeknownst to you he was finally preparing himself to tell you

he lifted his arms up and cupped your face softly

he leaned in a kissed your forehead and watched as you smiled shyly

thunder roared outside, lightly scaring you both

promting the two of you to giggle

you leaned in closer to his face

you noses brushed up against each other’s

and he smiled

“i really want to kiss you, may i?”

“yes you may.”

your arms snaked around him and you both smiled at the warm feeling now apparent on both your faces

he brought you closer and hugged you

“let’s stay like this, it keeps us warmer.”

you both were eating when the lights shut off

the sudden lack of light made it difficult to see

so you went on a mission to find candles

yeah, you could’ve used your phones, but battery life

you both found a singular candle and set it on the coffee table right in front of where you both sat

on the floor as you two had been watching tv while eating

as you turned to look at kai he giggled shyly while poking at his food

“what’s up kai?”

“the candles make this seem like a date.”

“do you want it to be a date?”

“do you?”

“i guess so.”

so then it was a date

you both ate while laughing while recounting tales of your friendship

when your plates were clean of food, and your stomachs filled

you both got quiet

“y/n i like you.”

“i like you too.”

his cheeks flushed red, and you smiled at his features in the candlelight

“kai, can i kiss you?”

his smiled widened and he nodded, words refusing to come from his mouth

you leaned in placing your lips to his in a delicate kiss

when you pulled away you grabbed his hands and smiled

his lopsided grin grew as he let his head fall

his crush had just kissed him
