Personally, i have been using a traditional safety-razor for more than six months now & i accustomed myself to using it after two weeks. I will certainly keep using my safety-razor for ever & consequently i will never have to think about purchasing a different razor-handle again. One purchase of a quality-safety-razor (available for circa £20, bought 2nd-hand), made of metal, which will last easily for two life-times + a pack of 100 quality-blades (costing only 6p/ blade), which will last easily more than 100 weeks. You will be able to accustom yourself to using a safety-razor most easily by not denying the existence of body-hair. Hair is a part of your body. Once you accept this fact, then your (bi-) weekly former ‘shaving’ of hair becomes a quicker & gentle trimming of body-hair. One top-brand-single-use-razor costs upwards of £1.50 (versus the 6p for a quality-safety-razor-blade (of a 100-blade-pack))! With that amount of an annual money-saver, one can e.g. travel on bus- & rail-public-transport for free for a whole month or have a family-meal in a restaurant; etc. + you are not throwing away 52 razors every year! Buck this trend of TV-advert-induced consumption & ignorance! It has become an absolute madness that most razors are now single-use-items! They are even worse than single-use-plastic-bags & -drink-straws for they cannot be recycled at all for the welded combination of plastics, rubbers, & metal.
