i’ve never posted my art here but i’m trying out a new art style after being unmotivated to draw for a few years now and i’m actually so proud of the outcome
keep reading if you want to hear abt my thoughts on my art and process and what inspired me to draw again (i haven’t stopped drawing all together but i’ve been inactive drawing digital art pieces for a few years partly due to becoming a mum and not having the time, partly because im a tattoo artist and was focusing on tattoo designs instead but mostly due to the fact i didn’t love my digital art work anymore because i hated the style and therefore had no motivation to draw).
my digital art style has virtually been the same since i started drawing digitally in 2017, it was just what was easiest for me because i struggled to draw the same way digitally as i did traditionally when i first began and the style i’ve been drawing in just came super naturally while i was learning the ropes of how to do translate my art to a digital form. it was rather basic in style and colouring, very two dimensional and flat despite shading, and cartoonishly stylised, which, while nice, just isn’t how i draw traditionally or how ive wanted to draw proper art pieces. this is also stylised for sure, stylised is how i draw even in my traditional art, but not to the extent (?) i have been doing digitally for years now. it was a v comfortable style for me, but i feel like there just wasn’t much room for growth. there was no real way to challenge myself other then a new pose, flow of the clothes and hair and drawing feet and hands that actually look like feet and hands. if i did anything new or tried something else it always made it look ‘incorrect’ from my vision, or made it not look like my style and like it was someone else who drew it, so i got comfortable in not really trying anything new and trying to test myself. because of that, more often than not i’d wind up with a ‘finished’ piece that ever felt finished and that i wasn’t truly proud of. it didn’t look right to me, because while it was in a way my art style it wasn’t really my art style in my head and heart, what i imagined and what i wanted to draw (if that makes any sense?). anyway ive not been motivated to draw digital pieces and have been sticking purely to tattoos and tatto designs, because aside from that being my job and me genuinely loving creating designs and the art style i use for my work, i didn’t have any motivation to draw in my old style and make digital pieces when i knew i wasn’t going to be happy with the outcome at the end, and even possibly not enjoy the process of drawing that digital drawing because of how bored and unimpressed i was with my style. ive drawn two pieces this week in my old style in attempts to push myself back into my digital art and refind my love for it, and ive been unimpressed with both. then i thought why am i still drawing like this? i dont have to, there is no rule that i have to stick with that style just because its comfortable. i can challange myself. try to make digital art, things that aren’t tattoo designs, that im proud of, or have the potential for growth that will make me proud. i can fall in love with digital drawing again. so i whent on pinterest, made a new board full of refrence images to challenge myself to use while i try to bring my traditional art style to a digital medium.

A Witch’s Morning & Night Routine
Your magic begins and ends with you.
Witchcraft isn’t always casting spells or full moon rituals — sometimes, it’s how you stir your tea or the way you light a candle at 2 a.m.
Here’s what a cozy, intuitive morning and night might look like in a witch’s world:
Morning Routine (Sun Magic)
Vibe: Quiet power, setting intentions, grounding into the day
• Stretch & Sip – Herbal tea or lemon water in your favorite mug. Stir clockwise with an intention: “Today, I invite clarity.”
• Altar Check-In – Light a candle, mist with moon water, or leave a fresh flower or crystal offering. Say a quick thank you to your guides.
• Tarot or Oracle Pull – One card for the day’s energy. Journal any first impressions or symbols that stand out.
• Wear Your Spell – Choose jewelry or perfume that carries intention. A ring for protection, a color for confidence, a scent for focus.
• Affirm or Chant – Speak a few affirmations aloud while looking in the mirror. Bonus: draw a sigil on your wrist with water or oil.
Night Routine (Moon Magic)
Vibe: Reflection, release, soft self-love
• Cleanse Your Energy – Burn incense, spray aura mist, or brush off your body with your hands to release the day’s weight.
• Gratitude Journal – Write three things you’re grateful for — or a letter to your higher self about what you’re healing.
• Dream Prep – Place amethyst or moonstone near your bed. Keep a dream journal nearby. Add lavender or mugwort to a sleep sachet.
• Moon Water Mist – Mist your pillow or face with charged moon water for psychic sleep and emotional cleansing.
• Optional Spell – Light a candle for peace. Visualize anything stressful dissolving into the flame. Blow it out with intention.
Your rituals don’t have to be perfect — they just have to feel like yours.

Job Attraction Spell Jar
Manifest the career you deserve with a simple spell jar:
• Cinnamon — for speed, action, and motivation
• Citrine — for success and financial prosperity
• Rosemary — for remembrance and luck
• Petition — write your career goal on a small piece of paper
Place all ingredients into a jar. Seal it with green wax to lock in the energy for growth and manifestation.
Manifestation tip: Keep the jar somewhere you’ll see it daily as a reminder of the opportunities you’re attracting.
