I wanted to ask if you've abandoned your fanfiction "The Cost of Freedom" or if there will be any more updates. I absolutely love this fanfiction so much and have been eagerly following it since the first chapter.

I love the plot, the characterization of the characters, and your writing style, so I hope with all my heart that the fanfiction will be finished. Of course, I also hope you're doing well, and that whatever's stressful or not going well in your life right now will pass quickly and you'll feel better! ^-^

HIII!!! I'm so sorry I never got a notification of this! I'm so glad you asked, because NO I didn't abandon it! I literally started writing the newest chapter back in APRIL and continued at the beginning of June but I just left it at that since summer started, I'm working on a little summer job on the side and I'm currently out in the mountains for vacation, but believe me I'll definitely update it! I just gotta lock in...but since I have so many of you it'll never leave my mind, and I'll make sure to satisfy us all with the new release. I love you lovely, thank you for checking up on me!! 💓💓

🍓 Back in 2020 I discovered wattpad while I was newly getting into LEGO Ninjago, and so things went on from there. I started with simple reading to writing my own work over there.

❄️ My dream plot for a fic... I'm pretty open minded to seeing some new plots in newer fics, but you can't beat the originals like enemies to lovers trope, or some good ol' angst. Oh, let's not forget the overdrawn slowburn. Ah yes, suffering is the key element to a good read.

🌿 Honestly the only way I deal with writers block is by re-reading my fic, or generally attempting to get back into the fandom. Re-read the book, re-watch the series/ movies, etc. If it's really not getting you back into it, try writing for a different fandom, something your brain is currently stuck in.

🏜️ Readers being super into it and making their own assumptions and theories. I'm not that big on popularity yet but any type of enthusiasm from the audience is so refreshing and joyful.

🍦 I wouldn't necessarily say I hate a character, more like I find uninteresting or underwritten for the plot. But in my case let's see... From BSD, I'd say my 'least favourites ' currently would be Tanizaki and Higuchi. They have good potential to be in the plot of the story but they're just standing out like side characters to me... I like Tanuzaki's ability, and I like Higuchi's stubbornness to succeed and prove her worth. Definitely worth of character building.

🥝 I wouldn't say I lie a lot, but I do lie to get around some things in certain situations. Not that I'm too proud of such.

🦋 How badly I wanna finish my latest chapter 😭.

🦴 Any shows/movies I watch always influence me in certain ways, so yeah, I'd say I apply just enough influence from media into my writing.

🍅 I would call myself out on laziness. Especially when it comes to editing the chapters, I usually skip right through it. There's always some mistakes or corrections I want to fix, but I get too deep into it and after some time of altering it I lose interest in writing all together.

🐚 I love surprises. Most things take me by surprise, it's not that hard to get by me if you're sneaky enough.

☁️ Hunter is a gender neutral name I chose way back in 2020 and went on with it. On AO3 I added an iconic 0 to it, and so the username was created. I believe when the username is simple and easy to remember it's a boost to people remembering you and your work.

🌸 Not really an indoor pet, but my family and I take care of a stray cat that we named Garfield. He's practically part of the fam now.

Hello, if you don't know me— hi, I'm just a silly little teenager during the day, but during the night I'm a mysterious ao3 writer that hides their identity. or otherwise known for the fic I'm currently running up on: The Cost of Freedom. My last update was on 4th of January this year, and it is pretty much 3 months since then. I admit, i took a large break. Truth be told, after the 6th chapter and all the new year holidays with school break I let myself go. But don't you fret, I kept my notes. I have a PILE of ideas. The story is very well shaped in my head, which is good. Yes, if you follow my work you will say that my chapters are long, because they are. I tend to write a lot, and I like to keep it that way. It's no Biggie, but it does take time. I usually note down the duration of my writing, and some chapter take a whole month. BUT. I am a determined individual, who quite cares for my little readers. And for this fic. I love it. And I love y'all. Reading up to 15 comments per chapter is a delight. The type of thing that makes me say: oh yeah, I wanna do this in life just because of it. You people are truly something else, and I just had to put it out here. All my love goes out to you, my follower, day one or day today, no matter where we tied our paths. Major part of my writing journey are you, the people who enjoy it. I have been rather silent on socials, I don't post much on tik tok, but recently noticed my fic was in one of those recommending videos and I was so out of my mind. It threw me off like a rock to head. I love all of you, your are my pillers in writing, and just so you know, you are not yet rid of me. The Cost of Freedom is far from over. And chapter 7 will soon be in official making. Stay tuned, I'm OUT.

Woah...hello people! New Year's is so close. I'm aware I haven't updated, but I swear I am working on it. I hit about 11, 263 words today, and I have a couple more scenes to write. I'll try to get it done by tomorrow, but if I don't, just know the new chapter of The Cost of Freedom will be out early January! And btw, it's a long LONG chapter. So stay tuned. —The Cost of Freedom; chapter 4.

His eyes are no longer blue. Their colour had faded into brown completely.

Chuuya’s gaze lingers on them. He feels his chest tightening. He grips the countertop with his hands, tightly.

Eyes.

He had taken Dazai’s eye out.

His eyes are brown now— what is this? Karma?

”Tch,” Chuuya lets out, “My brain is screwing with me.” He thinks to himself. Then he leans closer, his hips pressing into the countertop, as his face comes closer to the mirror, gazing at his eye.

It isn’t the same shade of brown, surely. It is.. lighter than Dazai’s— his are dark. Well, usually dark, depending on how big or small his pupils get. His eyes can get lighter in the Sun. And in certain angles too.

Chuuya stares— but they definitely aren’t the same.

Dazai always had a more relaxed gaze. Not a sharp one, like Chuuya’s. He often found them to be round, and his pupils could get so big to make his eyes almost appear black. Chuuya always found that oddly amusing.

He never told him that, though. He never told Dazai how interestingly stupid his eyes were to him. Maybe he should have.

Maybe if Dazai had taken his hand that day— maybe Chuuya would have told him how stupidly odd he found his eyes to be.

And how fucking sorry he was for taking one away.
