alice… alice alice alicOkay let me get my thoughts in order

the way sam knows to go to her. celia couldn't find any more clues and he said he'd probably give up and take alice's advice to leave it alone, but then he goes to the one person who said to leave it alone and asks her to go with him. and he knows, right? he has to know that she would say yes, right?

and like. teddy implies she still has a bit of a crush on him and she jokingly threatens to throw him in the thames for it. (alice has friends. teddy and colin both get along with her well. how come in the first episode she sounded so unconvincing when teddy said they would stay in touch? what was up with that, alice?) it's not that sam is the one person her social life revolves around; far from it, actually. and we know she is level-headed we know she knows enough to stay away from the "magnus protocol" and the institute ruins. she still agrees to go with him.

she knows the danger, and yet—i don't know. i'm biased towards her being protective because [waves at other posts i have made on this subject] but it's just. she's so loyal. sam must have dragged her into so many other midnight adventures out of curiosity. she must have gone along on every one.
