Imagine, you are dead! Your funeral prayer is over! You are placed in the grave! You are waiting for the angels of Munkar Nakir! But, they are not coming! But you are beginning to smell the fragrance of Paradise! After a while, a tunnel to Paradise is formed with the grave. ! You thought, what is this? Question - Where is the answer!? Then you remembered - ' If you recite the Surah Mulk every night, there is no problem answering questions in the grave! There is no chance of torment in the grave! Then, lying down on the soft bed of silk sheets, you said - Alhamdulillah!

Prince Dawood, the Titan Submarine, and Surah An-Nur, Verse 40
Since 2021, OceanGate has been offering billionaires a journey 3,300 meters deep into the ocean to view the wreckage of the Titanic. The Titanic wreck was discovered in 1985, and from 2021 onwards, OceanGate began taking the world’s wealthy to explore it.
On June 18, Prince Dawood and Suleman Dawood boarded the Titan submersible, which then descended into the ocean. After an hour and 45 minutes, contact with the sub was lost. According to investigations so far, the sub imploded nearly two hours after its descent, within the Bathypelagic Zone, which lies at a depth of 3,000 meters.
Parts of the sub, including its tail and landing frame, were found 1,600 feet from the Titanic wreck. However, the bodies were missing — and with current technology, they cannot be retrieved. Why not?
Because, as this incident revealed to the world’s media and marine experts, the ocean consists of layers upon layers of underwater waves. One layer after another appears, each adding more silence and darkness to the ocean. After about two hours of descent, such intense and absolute darkness takes over that it defies human description.
Why? Because such darkness has never been experienced by humans anywhere on land. Marine experts call it “pitch darkness” — so deep and complete that one cannot even see their own hand in front of them.
To understand this, we must turn to Surah An-Nur, verse 40, where Allah describes this Midnight Zone and Pitch Darkness:
“Or [their deeds] are like the darkness in a deep sea, covered by waves, upon which are waves, over which are clouds — layers of darkness, one above another. When one puts out his hand, he can hardly see it. And the one to whom Allah has not granted light — for him there is no light.”
(Surah An-Nur, 24:40)
Read this verse again. Then listen to the scientists’ analysis of the Titan tragedy once more. Ask yourself: how, 1,400 years ago — when humans could not descend more than three meters underwater — could the Qur’an declare that the deep sea has waves upon waves, with clouds covering them, creating a layered darkness so intense that one cannot see their own hand?
This truth was only discovered in 1985, when humanity finally found the Titanic wreck, while Allah had already described it in 628 CE (6 AH). He said that in the deep sea, there are layers of waves, like dark clouds, creating pitch darkness that blinds the eye — and the Titan either vanished or was destroyed in that very pitch darkness.
Was this merely a coincidence?
I read this verse over and over, and my eyes filled with tears. I thanked Allah for letting me be born into a faith that declared these truths to the world 1,400 years ago. He not only described pitch darkness, wave upon wave, and layered clouds — but also said that if He does not give someone light, they will never have light.
And I felt — maybe Allah used the Titanic and Titan tragedy to turn the world’s attention toward His signs. Perhaps He wants to tell the Muslim world through this event: You suffer from inferiority without cause. You look up to people whom Allah has deprived of faith. Turn instead to your Lord, for only He can change your condition.

Hazrat Imam al-Hasan (AS) said, 'He who trusts whatever Allah has chosen for him to be good, will never wish to be in any situation other than what Allah has chosen for him to be in.’

Keep those who are oppressed in your dua's tomorrow. Ask Allah to free Dr. Aafia, sisters from Al-Hol camp, Palestine, Kashmir and all the muslims under tyranny and sufferings. Ask Allah to free the scholars from the prisons of tyrants including Al-Alwan, Nasir Al Fahd, Khalid, Sa'd and others.
Wake up for tahajjud and ask Allah to grant victory to muslims and destroy the kuffar and their allies among the muslim ranks.

The story of Hazrat Ayyub teaches us that our blessings can be taken away at any moment.
You should always accept that nothing you have is truly yours and be mentally prepared for the fact that any day from now, you can lose everything you have.
You can go from having everything you want and need, to being boycotted by everyone and being exiled to the outskirts of a city living next to a landfill while you suffer.
But even he had his wife who was very loyal to him and even sold her hair at one point just to buy him food, perhaps teaching us that one of the greatest treasures is a woman who loves you and sticks by your side.
