Because Brennan has gained experience playing the game of D&D instead of just running it, he is taking huge personality swings with Wealwell - the kinds of swings a PC would normally take with their own character (i.e., Daisuke having personal beef with Goldbeard). This is why I believe Wealwell Gotch is Brennan’s self-insert character this season.

Wealwell is insanely unhinged yet also so solid. He majored in standing, he throws up when he gets too nervous/excited, he has threatened to murder his brother, and he is so mad that you’re not taking the cave seriously.
