do you ever just watch/listen to a thing, love the thing, become obsessed with the thing, recommend the thing left and right? but as soon as people listen to your recommendation, realize that you’re protective of your thing and that you never really wanted the thing to be seen/listened to by other people? like, you’re happy that the thing has gotten recognition, but that thing is your thing, and as soon as your friends start talking about the thing it becomes “our” thing?
