hullo folks!!!
as the name suggests i post poems!! this is mostly just an excuse to get the endless amount of poems I have saved out of my phone but also because I think poetry is just important!!! it is the most accessible form of journally, art, expression, and the human experience!!! I really encourage everyone to give it a shot!!!
anyways some minor housekeeping!!

✨️if a poem you have written ever appears here and you would NOT like to see it here PLEASE message me!!!

you are seven and playing something incomprehensible to your own mind now but you are 7 so it's all alright
you are 7 on that playground you will still drive past on your way home every now and then and feel that unremebering sense of nostalgia for
you are 7 and have lost sight of whoever it is you are meant to be watching for and scream to a halt in the middle of the ripped up grass that has seen a million feet grow until it doesn't see them anymore
you are 7 and suddenly you are not
you are much older and looking across a field to a car you realize you will one day be driving out of town out to a house that will stand empty and a road that goes on forever
you are 7 and frozen with the unrecognizable understanding one day you will be standing on the other side of the old school soccer field looking for the place you once stood when you were-
you are 7 and a friend who you will one day grow out of loving crashes into you and you laugh and run back to the children you will one day forget the names of
but it does not matter
you are 7 for now and maybe you always will be. in pieces out in that old field.
