I may be absolute cringe, and have wacky ships/AUs, but at least I'm making everything with my own two hands and not a glorified pixel predictor.

I have an analog horror series idea (very short, only 5 episodes that would only be a few minutes each), and I can't get over one particular line I wrote for it even half a year later!

"Do not go outside. Do not look outside. Do not seek help. You will die.”

^ This is part of a Government issued statement in the series! As far as I know, it's one of, if not the ONLY time you'll hear governments in these kinds of stories telling you to not attempt an escape. At least, it was last time I checked, which was around the time I first wrote most of the episode scripts for the series.

The series will be based on a CreepyPasta concept known as "Slender Sickness". First appearing in Marble Hornets, Slender Sickness is an illness you get from being too close to Slenderman for too long. Side effects include, but are not limited to: Nose bleeds, Fever, Coughing, Amnesia, Exhaustion, Nausea, Headaches, and Feelings of Deja Vu.

The series will basically take Slenderman and the Slender Sickness, and say "ok, but what if parasite?" and turns the Slender Sickness into a sort of "long range" parasitic infection. How does the Slender Species thrive? Turn every sapient thing around them into part of the species, of course!

The only reason the series isn't made yet despite it's shortness and simplicity is because I haven't gotten the conversation parts of the script done, and the first episode is literally a conversation LMAO

The worst thing to happen to me (not srs) is my long time obsession with Masquerade AUs with a crossdressing assassin, and not being able to write it for any fandoms I'm in cause I just can't come up with a good plot 😭

Got silly goofy and forgor to give y'all Foggy Updates (frog updates)-

In the time since I first confirmed they had enough potential to talk about them publicly, we have:

sacrificed a cup to them

moved them to a tote

given them water and freeze dried food

given them 3 sticks and 2 rocks

seen legs appear and disappear (fucking magicians)

been unable to see them

been able to see them

and learned how to use a bug catching tool to yoink and inspect individual tadpoles (Kept to a minimum cause it does scare them when I do that)

Overall, they're doing fine, and many of them are getting so big and round 💞

It is mostly just me watching them grow up and occasionally dropping a baggie of crushed freeze-dried mealworms into their water for them (the baggie is not sacrificed to them, they don't need more plastic than the sacrificial cup lmao)

I've been spending the last few days trying to redraw an image for a sideblog I wanna make, but the image is fighting me to the death and I lack the required patience for it rn

there’s been a really bizarre trend in the past couple years of TERFS/radfems getting pissed off about biology posts. posts about the bilateral gyandromorph cardinal (one half male, one half female), posts about older hens beginning to crow and act like roosters, posts about animals being animals. and it’s hilarious because they interpret these posts as some kind of agenda. no! these are animals not choosing any gender identity or sexuality but being born into bodies they have no control over. weird how that happens in nature huh

"We trained a pigeon to recognise cancerous cell clusters and somehow they're really good at it" okay great, that's something that could plausibly be a thing.

Sadly I don't have the most interesting last line. It's from one of my Jackunzel fics lol. The line is just part of the prologue, which translates the most important character scene of their original media into writing, so readers don't have to go out of their way to hunt for context they may not have access to. But, this is technically the last line I've written at the moment, and I really wanna participate in the thread, so here it is :D
