Sniveling dejectedly where he sat, Cup scooched over to make room for his brother to sit down, if he chose. “W- Well, n- naw, but they’re good at makin’ me m- mad.”

  Taking the invitation, the blue-hued mug quickly came to sit beside his brother, his hand coming to rest on his shoulder.

“Look, I know it ain’t right for them to come and poke fun, but you gotta turn your head right the other way.” He waved his hands as he spoke, trying to convey the mean-spiritedness of the greyscale flowers. “They’re tryin’ for a reaction, see? At least from what I seen from the mean nonnies. Your job is ta’ not give ‘em the time a day. That’ll make ‘em steamin’ mad, for sure! And worst comes to worst, come get me. We can’t fight ‘em, but we can sure ignore the heck outta them!”

Oh, all he’d done was come to return some books! Halting in the doorway, elbow on the door, the lad looked to meet the source of the voice. Miss Marianne- she looked nervous, if not frightened by something. Immediately, worry rang true through his soul.

“Is that right, ma’am?” Cup piped up gently, shuffling a quartet of books in his arms. He knew for a fact one of them was overdue by three days’ time, and counted out the fee to pay it off prior to setting foot out the door. “Course, I can keep secrets– But is somethin’ the matter..?”

 Mugman had followed in hopes to get some new books for himself -- but he supposed, anywhere he followed his brother, trouble would inevitably come for them. At least they were always able to face it together.

 “Oh gosh.. what’s gone ‘n happened now, miss?” Shuffling his feet in his nervousness, he could only guess as to what’d happened now. He could only hope it wasn’t something that would get them into a mess again... 

 but, of course it would be.

Other than the name and being purple, both of which are basically no-brainers for a cup OC and not really something any one person gets to claim they own, there doesn't appear to be any similarity between the two Bottlecaps? Theirs has one curly straw instead of two straws, isn't a fusion, and doesn't seem to have any personality similarities or even the same design in any basic way (having darker colors and a smaller nose). I'm not involved but I'm confused why you think they meant to copy?

 || If they didn’t mean to copy, then I’d certainly like them to contact me and clear it up with me. But all forms of communication with the user they have blocked off or have not answered me. I believe it’s quite clearly a copy.

 That is not their only fault. They also have stolen commissioned artwork from this user on their about page at the very bottom. At the very least, it would be a high coincidence if they named their character the same and had the same color palette as the original Bottlecap. There are enough similarities for me to believe it was a copy and/or based off the original Bottlecap. At the very least, they could have asked if they could have made their own version: which they did not.

 On February 14th of 2018, @/recklesscup decided to create their blog. It could be easily mistaken for a Cuphead blog -- which it is based off of --

 however.

 @/recklessxup is a Bottlecap blog. 

 Bottlecap is a character created by @iaintnxsaint: a fusion of Cuphead and Mugman. There is a problem here. Dusty has never once been asked by this person whether or not they could use this character in which the answer would have been a definitive no.

 Please do not enable this person to continue to use @iaintnxsaint’s character!! I have attempted to contact them in multiple forms, but they have not answered me. If you know a way I can contact them to talk to them about this, please tell me!

I'm not one to start rumors, but Cuphead gets dodgy when talked to about angels. Do you know anything?

“Well, I think that’s more a matter of how you look at it. Most folks think I’m a might smarter than my brother, but that ain’t quite the case!” Sitting down in the garden, he scooted close to two different types of flowers. 

“When you see a tulip and a daisy, you might think on the spot: well this ‘un is definitely prettier than the other. Same with me and Cup.” He pulled the two flowers from the ground, holding up them both. “You might think one of us is better at somethin’ than the other – which can be true – but when you dig a little deeper –” He pulled the both closer to inhale the flowery scent, “you find one might smell better or one might attract more bees or, if you just ask another person, they say, naw, I think the other one is prettier. They can see it in a different light – just like me an’ my brother. Certainly sometimes I got more common sense than him, but he’s a helluva lot better at math than I am… but I’m better at science, and so on. I like to think we’re equals, but in our own little way. Y’know?”
