The Detective Plot

Gosh, I was supposed to do assignments...But now I am here with Vincenzo and Cha Young as detectives in a marriage of convenience trope.

Hong Cha Young is assigned to an International Investigation in Milan. Recognizing the international scope of the case, Hong Yu Chan (the detective in charge or smth I DONT KNOW) discreetly reaches out to a trusted ally who can navigate the volatile underworld of Milan. THAT IS HOW THE DORKS MEET!

Vincenzo’s polished exterior masks his true nature: he is deeply entangled in the Italian mafia. MWAHAHAHA (Yu Chan is aware of it though)

Vincenzo’s mafia connections prove indispensable; they grant him entry to elite circles and covert informants that are otherwise inaccessible. They delve deeper into the machinations of a secret society whose power is bolstered by ancient rituals, they discover that a crucial piece of evidence—the ledger detailing the society’s most damning crimes—is locked away behind an arcane mechanism. This mechanism, rooted in ritual and symbolism, can only be activated by an authentic marital union—a union that appears to transcend time and trust. (the mechanism i'm not explaining or it will never end-it is symbolism and purpose though, this method has its roots in a philosophy that sees marriage as one of the most potent symbols of unity and trust—a force that, when genuine, can overcome barriers that neither love nor law could break apart on their own. In this monstrous making, this marriage-triggered mechanism is not merely a lock-and-key device but also a metaphor. It represents how the blending of seemingly disparate worlds (the world of law and order with the shadowy realms of the criminal underworld) can produce a force powerful enough to bring hidden truths to light. idk anything, i am working on 6 hrs of sleep and i just did explain it...*sighs*)

and then cha young gets to know vinny is mafia because AIN'T NO FUCKING WAY AN ORDINARY MAN DID THAT (she knew it all along, overheard conversations just expose Vincenzo’s safeguard as some rivals come to the show and do their usual shit show)

but ofc, cha young knows that in this filthy world one must wade into grey waters to unearth the truth.

so the confession *coughs helps them consummate the marriage and do the things i wished they really did 4 years ago, I AM NOT GETTING EMOTIONAL-

and yes, there will be subplots and more but idk.
