Producer and singer Marc-Anthony Archer Balian, better known as Gxlden Child is a Montreal-native artist of Armenian & Haitian descent, breaking many sonic boundaries with a unique sound, experimenting with various genres. A self-taught sound engineer, he produces, records and mixes most of his songs, as well as for other Montreal artists such as Enima, Kay Bandz and more. In September of 2018, Balian releases his low-key single Digital Sunset + Unfortunate. The following month, My Slime drops as his first official album-linked single. As his debut body of work is released in July of 2019, Lost in Helladise secures number 29 on ITunes Top 200 releases in RnB/Soul Chart. The album includes collaborations with artists such as DEVISDEVIN & DMAZ. Months later, Balian exiles himself in Hollywood, California to work on some new music. In April 2020, he released BLOODYMARY, a psychedelic record about loss, delivering deep, emotional vocals on a TwentyHundrd production. The melancholic solo was then followed by HOUSE IN THE HILLS, an epic and moving song featuring DEVISDEVIN. On June 19th, Gxlden Child finally drops his highly anticipated single All the Way, making noise around the globe, followed by Pegasus, the second single to his Hoodrich Harmonies EP, released on March 5th.
