Something needs to be said about how Meyers got a whole generation of white kids and fanfic writers to call multiple native American characters “dogs” while vilifying every other racial minority in her books as predators. It also needs to be discussed how she had a white family of vampires old enough to be there for the inception of aggressive colonilization in the Americas and they are now in modern times invading the land of people they call “dogs”….
