Story in Strange Horizons!
My short story “Sublet” has been accepted by the amazing Strange Horizons! If you don’t know them, you should because they’re great. I’ve been submitting stuff to them since I was 21 years old. I’m now 29. This marks my first “pro-paying” sale. :-)

Chapbook collection to be published!
I’m happy to announce that my collection of short stories “Crossfaded in Narnia” will be published later this year by Eibonvale Press. It will be released as a chapbook in both paperback AND hardcover--wild, right?
Eibonvale has long been one of my favorite small presses, having put out a bunch of great books by a bunch of great writers--including Joel Lane (who happens to be one of my biggest influences), Brendan Connell, Rhys Hughes, Kristine Ong Muslim, Nina Allen, and Hal Duncan. It’s a huge honor to have my very first book published by them.
Updates to follow.

Poem in Luna Luna Magazine
I wrote a longwinded, angry poem called “Interlude for the Precariat” which the people over at Luna Luna Magazine were gracious enough to publish. Luna Luna is fantastic. Check them out if you haven’t already. You can read the poem here.

Alarms “Paranoia Now” out now!
Alarms are an awesome, shredding hardcore band from Sacramento full of hairy bodybuilders and vegans and nerds and they just released their latest album Paranoia Now. The astute listener can hear my vocals on the songs “Monster’s Here,” “My Dilemma,” and “Hoarder.” I’m super stoked to have been asked to collaborate with such a great band and contribute to their latest release. Overall, it’s a fucking awesome album that should please fans of thrash, ’80s hardcore, and everywhere in between. Listen!
