Ibogaine: Dangerous Drugs Alternative

There are so many drugs type in this world, each of them has various danger, both physical and mental damage for everyone who misuse, including relatively new drugs which is commonly called as ibogaine. This alternative drugs originated from a plant called as Tabernanthe iboga. This plant produces an indole alkaloid substance which has hallucinogenic effect when someone consumes it.

This is why in some countries, this substance considered as drugs and therefore its usage is strongly prohibited, while at the other countries, its usage is less prohibited and allowed for medical usage, psychological and spiritual purpose.

Some countries even have developed an advance method in using ibogaine for some drugs addiction treatment, such as heroin, methadone, cocaine, alcohol, and methamphetamine. However, not all drugs addiction treatment center has this advance method and technology. There are some places only which has permission to do this, including ibogaine treatment centers.

At ibogaine treatment centers, at least there are 2 main projects done. First, at this place, people with ibogaine addiction problem will be treated using special addiction treatment. At the other side, this addiction treatment center also has special technologies and treatments to cure other people who have other drugs addiction problem. Of course, they will not be treated using the same methods used for the first case, but a different one.

Even though in some countries, Tabernanthe iboga plant is not considered as drugs plant, it is still very important to keep the distribution of this plant because of the hallucinogen substance it can produce. Until we discover the full potential of this plant, we can still optimize the benefit we got from this plant for various medical purposes under allowed dosage, of course.

Any non-medical usage should be strongly prohibited because the usage can’t be controlled and therefore the misusing percentage will be sharply increase. It is very important because any public usage of this substance will lead to other drugs misuse  It will be a tragic fact if at first we use this plant to treat patient with drugs addiction problem, but what we get later is worse drugs addiction problem.

Ternanthe iboga, however, is not the only drugs plant we should concern about. There are other drugs plants which distribution we should watch carefully to keep our society members from getting addicted with the drugs. This is where all society members should work together.
