Ask the character/mun: Ask the muse whatever you want for them to answer IC; or ask the mun a personal question to get to know better or to get an OOC answer [although we would like to keep these at a minimum]!
Truth/Dare: Be reasonable with the dares! If you start getting ridiculous no one will want to do them; characters aren’t really obligated to do all the dares they receive. Don’t forget about the truth part as well!
Situation: Give the character another character or characters, a place and a reason in order to create some interesting thread ideas (if both parties are willing to do it that is)! For example: You could send an ask to Ventus saying: “Roxas, Sector oo6, clothes shopping”.
Headcanon: Anons send the character a word, or a name and you may write a small/long headcanon about said word!
Drabbles: Give the muse a prompt and they may write a short drabble on it.

All Ibuki could do was smile, but she was distracted, for a moment, as she surveyed the countless trolleys of food beside the bed, and then his injuries. What had he been getting himself into? Sure, back at the island, stuff had been really-super-bad, but no one'd ever been this injured, as far as she could remember? Right? So what was going on in Hive City that was so violent?
And what kinda prom had that been? Ibuki knew that some music could get pretty violent, and she liked music like that, yeah, but never violent enough to injure someone? Byakuya-chan must've been rocking really hard!
But her attention span never had been very long, and within the minute she was stuck giggling over the jello on Byakuya-chan's face. Oops, he was talking to her, right? Yeah? Ibuki should learn to pay better attention!
"It was a lot of work!" Looking about the room for a minute, she managed to find a chair that was probably meant to be on the other side of the room, but had been moved to make room for the food, instead. Well, good enough for her! She brought it over, and then collapsed into it quite animatedly, bringing her arms down onto her knees and resting her chin in her hands. "Ibuki had to go all over, because she found this newspaper article, right? And it said Byakuya-chan's name in it, so Ibuki had to find him! Plus, Tsumiki-chan mentioned that Byakuya-chan was here before, too!" She nodded furiously.

"Ibuki had to look through a lot of hospitals! She kept asking and asking, and asking, and asking and asking and asking..." In her head, she counted the number of times she'd said 'asking." It had to be the same number of asking she'd had to actually do, and that was a lot. But then something overwhelmed her and she had to slow down and stop thinking about the asking and start thinking about how Byakuya-chan was alive when she'd thought he'd been dead.
"But, but! Ibuki is really glad that she got to see Byakuya-chan again," she said, no shouting or anything, but rather quickly, instead. "Yep! Ibuki doesn't remember much, but... she's glad Byakuya-chan is okay."
SHSL Trip Across Hive City: The Search for Byakuya-chan (Closed).
Hospital food.
It was neither good, nor bad. Truly it often depended on the hospital, and who was left in charge of the food. If anything, Byakuya had to rate this place as below average when it came to his opinion of hospital food— which, to be honest, was already low to begin with— but nevertheless, food is food. And right now, it was Byakuya Togami’s lunch.
Several food trolleys were arranged at the side of the large boy’s slightly uncomfortable bed— all in which held emptied platters of food that had seemingly been cleaned to a tee.
He knew to not even think to leave scraps behind. That would be a waste— and he needed to eat as much as he could. Wasn’t it true that if you ate well, the faster you would recover when feeling unwell? … Er, perhaps in video games it was, but no matter! No hospital was going to stunt Byakuya’s eating habits.
Thankfully, with only his right arm and right leg both broken (he had a lot of bandages elsewhere though, some even on his head), he had a hand to eat with.
With a plastic spoon, the Super High School Level Heir was about to dig in to the last bit of cranberry jello left in the similarly plastic container he held in his hand (there was a small mound of them on one of the trolleys). Lifting said spoon with a bit of the red gelatin substance on it, he moved it to his mouth, and then…
“Byakuya-chan!”
A voice piped up, out of the blue, as the door flung open.

"Guagh—"
Releasing a strange noise out of surprise, Byakuya had turned his face towards the door just as it had opened and allowed the spoon of jello to collide with his left fat cheek.
… There were a lot of things in which could have been said at the very moment. Such as, asking how she found him, or expressing relief in seeing the Super High School Level Light Music Club Member. But instead of saying any of those, he merely stared in surprise at the other as she went on— finally stopping after a few moments.
Truly, he was at a loss to say— having been caught so off guard. … So before he would even bother to say anything… first, Byakuya would grab a nearby napkin to remove the jello from his face and from his hospital gown— setting it at one of the trolleys by his side.
"Y… you…"
Finally managed to utter some words, Byakuya blinked a couple times. Yes, this was certainly Ibuki Mioda. … She looked like she’d seen better days, though. She’d been looking for him…? How did she even know he was here? Not like he minded, but…

"… Oi… how… did you managed to find me? … Mioda-san."
Frankly… there was some relief on his face.
Another member of his class was known to be here, in Hive City. This brought silent joy to the boy.

"They're nice," Ibuki nodded. She liked beaches, she really did, and she liked swimming and stuff and playing in the sand with friends. "This place could be a lot better, though!" she piped up. She didn't like it at all when people were unhappy. Sure, the city was really weird in some places, but she'd been in weirder situations! She really had, since recently. Anyway, Ibuki knew she could make the best of this, if she really tried!
And she really liked Labrys, because she was really smart and seemed like she knew what she was doing. Even though maybe she was lying about not tooting her own horn. Ha, Ibuki liked that phrase-- she'd have to remember it for later. Like, Mama Mia! Some phrases were the funniest things she'd ever heard.
When she heard about the shopping sector, Ibuki couldn't help but perk up a bit. Maybe it'd be like street stuff? She really liked that kind of thing, really, a lot! Lots of styles and fashion and-- yes, and music! She hadn't thought about all that dimension stuff, but now that it'd been mentioned, she really couldn't wait to get over there. As soon as she got to her apartment and figured stuff out. Yeah. Right. That first! Couldn't get distracted by the more exciting stuff.

"You're asking Ibuki about her musical talentssss?" she grinned. Her favorite subject! Yep! She motioned to the guitar she had on, and gave one string a twang. "Ibuki plays guitar! Also," she remembered Labrys's earlier phrase, and she had to use it, she couldn't help it, she reallyreally couldn't! "Ibuki doesn't want to toot her own horn, but she's pretty good at singing, too!"
But she didn't like it when people thought they weren't good enough for music. Besides, Labrys sounded supersuper smart, like Super High School Level Smart, right, and so Ibuki blurted out, "Ibuki thinks Labrys could play anything she wanted!" without thinking too hard about it-- because, well, when did she think too hard about anything-- and then, to back herself up, grinned and flashed her companion a peace sign. "Yeah? She should give it a try first!"

SHSL Trip Across Hive City: The Search for Byakuya-chan (Closed).
Ibuki got a hold of the newspaper by accident. It'd been on the ground-- did someone really not want it? And they couldn't even make it to the trash?-- and she'd grabbed it up right away, because, man! Ibuki really did love the current news. It was secondary to her obsession with current music, but music and news oftentimes went hand in hand... she thought. Some big stuff had been happening while she'd been getting settled, too! And ever since Tsumiki-chan had mentioned that others from Hope's Peak were in Hive City, Ibuki'd been really truly super curious, so she guessed this was just all her thoughts creating some sort of energy in the universe!
What a nice universe. She'd have to remember to thank it later.
She wasn't particularly looking for anyone's name, but Ibuki really super-duper liked proms, of course, since usually there was lots of music and dancing (among Ibuki's two favorite things), so her eyes went there right away! Reading and walking was a bit of a hassle, though, and she had to have run into at least two different people as she went. In any case, she spotted Byakuya-chan's name in a hurry. And then the part about the hospital? A couple of weak memories flashed in her mind about the island, and about stuff that happened in hospitals there too-- no, no! Not good memories at all. She didn't wanna keep thinking about them. She closed her eyes and shook her head back and forth.
But still, Byakuya-chan in the hospital? An undisclosed hospital, too? Was this newspaper trying to challenge Ibuki? Hmph! She wasn't about to take that from some piece of paper, no way! She decided immediately that she was gonna find Byakuya-chan even if she had to comb through every single sector there was! Hah... except Sector 001. Hopefully he wasn't there, because she'd heard that sector was super hard to navigate. Yeah, anywhere except there.
Since she'd arrived, Ibuki'd gotten braver about leaving her apartment in Sector 003. Apparently Ibuki had a look about her that scared a lot of people off-- as long as they didn't talk to her. They'd then see that she really wasn't scary at all.
She started with her own sector, then decided to work up from there-- smallest to biggest, all that. That's how Ibuki's band had gained popularity, right? They started out reaaaally tiny, and then got bigger! So it made sense to go that way. She got a lot of weird looks, rushing into the hospitals and demanding Byakuya-chan several times eagerly, before she remembered that he had a longer name and she had to state her relation and all that. What a pain!
By Sector 006, she was practically exhausted. If she hadn't applied so much hairspray, her hair would be coming apart in big hunks. Luckily, Ibuki was super good with her hairspray, so that was no problem. Still. Her feet hurt, and she'd only gotten to sit down while riding on the train. And she still had two sectors to go, because the stupid thing only went clockwise and all that! That was really inconvenient. And so, for the fourth time that day, she asked a stranger for directions and fumbled her way through the sector, until she found its hospital. Sector 006 was really big and bright and open and airy and that was nice, 'cause she'd had to go through some really gross places that day. It was just what she needed. So, thusly taking the hugest breath she could muster into her lungs, Ibuki entered her fourth hospital.
She expected kinda the same thing she'd gotten before, "No patient here with that name, sorry," and then a blatantly rude glance towards the door, except a part of her was always bent on being super hopeful, so she closed her eyes as she approached the desk and spit out her spiel very loudly and quickly.
To her surprise, the woman behind the desk smiled and told her the room number, instead of showing her the way out. She'd even made it during visiting hours, too! Ibuki took the time now to blurt out her thanks to the universe, as she navigated through the hallways. Hospitals were too big and gangly for her, and also they were very sad places, so she didn't like to stick around. All the hospitals had been tickling memories inside her head, too, but she couldn't really get a good grasp on them, yet. She jittered in the elevator and found herself singing a little song as she went on up. She moved three steps too fast while she searched the room numbers, and, never one for being surreptitious, threw the door open when she finally found it. (Nevermind that it was a hospital, Ibuki had forgotten all about that already.)
"Byakuya-chan!" Ibuki sang. Finally! She'd been waiting all day to make her big entrance. Leaving the door to bang closed by itself, she bounded across the room and then gripped the metal foot of his bed. "Ibuki finally found you! Finallyfinallyfinally! She looked very hard, and now she's here!" She was out of breath when she finally stopped talking. And then she grinned wide.
#shslbodilyperfection#there!! there#thank you for being so patient w me byakuya-chan#and also. i feel like a.) this is really rushed and b.) it is too long at the same time so sorry for that!#i hope there are no typos in this oh no#i read it over but??? who knows

"Niiiice to meet you!" Ibuki grinned, and was about to reach out to shake his hand, but then he said the thing about physi-- phsyicalities? and so she stopped midair and threw a victory sign at him instead. It kind of threw her off, but hey! She wasn't gonna be rude. People were just people, right? But man, he was like, really serious or something? Ibuki was really pretty glad that he'd help her out.
Except, except! There was one thing that maybe she wasn't too comfortable with. That thing about the spell and stuff? If his magic was limited, Ibuki reeeally didn't want him to have to use it on her instead of someone who was super special to him that he super-duper needed to protect, right? Ibuki was just some stranger! So she told him as much.
"No need to use any magic on Ibuki," she said, and very dramatically made a giant "X" with her arms. "Ibuki is really strong, yeah? So if she just had a plan like Laurent said, then she can get through the ghetto just fine. No need for magic, no way!" Ibuki mostly just believed in the power of numbers. No one was gonna mess with her if she had this super-serious looking magician guy with her, right? But still, she was confused, because people were always telling her that magic wasn't real, but here this guy was saying he could use it! Obviously they were mistaken. Ibuki had always known that wizards and stuff existed. So there!

Eh? Why she was headed there? Well, well, well! Fair enough! Ibuki had nothing to hide. "That's where Ibuki's apartment is, apparently. She wouldn't have chosen the ghetto for herself, but it looks like she has no choice!" Wildly gesturing, she gave him a thumbs up, before lowering both her hands to her hips. "Ibuki has roommates though! So she's sure she'll be safe at night and stuff." Anything, anything-anything-anything, would be better than the island! Especially since there were so many nice people here that were so willing to help her out. She was really thankful.
Reality is a Shooting Star (open/intro)
This madam was…quite energetic-seeming, from the sounds of things so far. What with smiling so much despite noting he was observing her carefully (and even observing him back), it certainly wasn’t difficult to note that particular observation about the other. It reminded him of Morgan just a little bit, and subconsciously, the mage thus found himself relaxing slightly. Ah, with someone that reminded him so of…his…good friend, he needn’t worry as much about possibly having his good intentions abused.
“I see. My name is Laurent, Madam Ibuki. It is a pleasure to meet you, despite the terrible circumstances.” A polite nod, before the mage paused to listen to the other’s reassurance. Hm, she had a valid point there. If one was as new as he was, the first thing they would seek might not be information, but rather, someone to tag along-side them to make getting used to the bearings less daunting.
“I certainly will try my best to help. Though most my magic has been sealed, my one protection spell should be very handy to you at this time - and I don’t mind assisting someone else whom is just as unfamiliar with this place as I am.” Though, his genuine offer of help was cut short at the hand invading his personal space, and he took a step back there. “…Forgive me, madam, but I fear I am not too good with physicalities with those I have just met. Nonetheless, going to this ‘ghetto’ does indeed sound too daunting a task to achieve alone: even I’ve heard bad things about that place, and I’m fairly new here myself.”
“As long as one keeps a clear mind and thinks of a plan before going there, though - it is possible to keep out of trouble. You needn’t worry - I’ll provide assistance as strongly as I can with heading there, madam Ibuki. Though, I must ask, before we go…why are you headed to the ghetto in the first place?”

Even if it was none of his business, the thought that anyone would want to willingly go there, of all places…either this madam was incredibly brave or incredibly uncaring what danger she might run into. He hoped it was the former.

Tsumiki-chan was the shiest person that Ibuki had ever met! But it didn't really matter to Ibuki, because she liked Tsumiki, and so! She'd talk to her anyway. "Ibuki really wants to, Tsumiki-chan! But she has no idea what there is around here..." But she quickly forgot her train of thought as soon as she heard about Byakuya-chan being around. Her eyes went wide and she grinned.

"Really? Byakuya-chan?" While it was exciting to hear about him in particular, she was already thinking of the other possibilities. "That means... everyone else could be alive too? Right? Right, right?" If this place could work magic like that, then Ibuki was one hundred percent sure she liked it. Back at the island, it had been all about trying to get home, but here... even if you killed somebody, there wasn't a chance of it. And Ibuki wanted to go home, for real, but it was good enough that her friends from the island were safe and okay and now she could talk to them without being scared about anything!
But if Tsumiki-chan had already met Byakuya-chan, then she had to have been around here for a while. She had to have a better idea of the place than Ibuki did! "How long have you been stuck here, huh?" she asked. Lucky for Tsumiki, Ibuki could keep a conversation going without the other person needing to say a single word-- Ibuki could practically talk to herself, if it was necessary.
It was odd, though, even talking about life and death, something was off about talking to Tsumiki in particular. It was weird, like, After Mahiru-chan's trial, Ibuki had a couple memories, but then it just went kinda blank? And why was it so weird seeing Tsumiki-chan? But, whatever. Maybe it would be weird to see Byakuya-chan, too. And Ibuki was gonna make sure she saw him, and anyone else from her class that was here! Yep, she was already sure of that!
"It's okay, Tsumiki-chan. Ibuki doesn't dwell on the past! Ibuki thinks... her and Tsumiki-chan should be happy about now, even if it's weird! Because they're outta that crazy situation, right?"
Reality is a Shooting Star (open/intro)
Mikan almost jumped when Ibuki put an arm around her shoulder. To the nurse, the girl was actually someone she could easily get along with, or so she had always thought a bit. The other was so friendly and full of energy all the time and she couldn’t recall any time she had ever been cruel or mean to someone else, so she knew she didn’t have to fear her or anything.
“I-I’m glad to see that you are.. doing well.” And she really meant it. She wished deeply that all her former classmates were alright. They had been the only people being nice to her after a long time, some a little less or more than others, but over all it could have been an enjoyable time if not for the murders that had occured. Thinking about that was the wrong time and all it did was making her uncomfortable, so she should push those thoughts aside.

“Hang.. out?” To be quite honest, she wasn’t sure what exactly people did when they were hanging out. She knew it was supposed to be a time you enjoyed with friends, but she never had many opportunities to do something like that, so she was rather unsure what exactly having fun meant. “You don’t need to act polite for my sake. I’m not r-really interesting, so it would only bore you.. I-I didn’t do anything s-special here..” She was already scared what she was supposed to say if the girl would keep on insisting on wanting to hear more. Mikan was bad with keeping a conversation alive and she knew already that she wouldn’t know what to say anymore after a short amount of time.
“I-I’m sorry if you know it already, but I-I met Togami earlier already, s-so we aren’t the only ones here.. I wonder how he came back to life though..”

Her eyes wandered to the ground. She hadn’t meant to talk about this since it was a weird topic and she didn’t want to cause Ibuki to get in a bad mood because of it. Though it felt.. more odd than it should to mention a death in front of her. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t.. have said that.” The girl apologized, forcing herself to properly look at Ibuki again. She wanted to add more, wanted to make up for her mistake, but she was too shy to bring anything out of her mouth. The other girl was better at talking than her anyway, so hopefully she would have a better idea. But something bothered Mikan a lot and she didn’t know what it was.

Forces? What was she, like, some sort of Star Wars thing? Ibuki could go with that. As long as it would get her home! Ibuki also didn't think that a wooden sword could really do much against slick gangsters, but, whatever! She trusted this girl to get her where she needed to go.

"Whaa--? You're not a human?" Maybe she really was like in Star Wars? But there wasn't any of this dog-cat stuff in there. Ibuki guessed this was what that guy meant from "your own world." But Ibuki had never even known there were other worlds? She was gonna loser her mind in this place! It was just too crazy!
Okay. Deep breath. Get a grip. Ibuki had survived back on that island... right? She had, right? So here would be fine. Yep! And she was making lots of allies really quick, too, who were helping her! Ibuki relaxed her shoulders (somewhat loudly, by shaking them all down and up and down again) before nodding at the girl.
"Yep, Ibuki's 100% human!" And she raised her hand up as she talked to give a thumbs-up, but then tilted her arm a bit to examine it. "Ibuki thinks so, at least." She furrowed her eyebrows again before nodding affirmatively. "But no. No powers. Well." Ibuki shook her guitar. "Except this! I can play this and I can sing some, too. I can write a song if you really want. Actually, I'll probably end up writing one even if you don't want." She nodded again, grinning.
"Would you really do all that for Ibuki?" She was gonna reach over and give the girl a hug, but she was busy rattling her guitar, to show it off. "That's really super sweet of you! Ibuki wishes she had some way to repay you for all that."

"Yep! Ibuki juuuust got here. She's super confused, because she was on this island before-- well, that wasn't the nicest place either, but she had friends there, and she was gonna do stuff!!" Ibuki looked away, despite remaining cheerful, and kinda let her brain wander back to the island and how she'd helped in that one trial with her ears, and... she wanted to be helpful here, too! That had been a really good feeling, yeah? Right, right? So she wanted it here too, right? Even if it was all scary like this.
"That's suuuuper smart!" She was thoroughly impressed. (Although, admittedly, it did not take much to impress Ibuki.) If she just made lotsa friends, she wouldn't have to live in such a scary place? If only everything was easy like that. And she'd already made friends with Labrys-- and Ibuki really did like friends. They were probably among her favorite things. Also music. Music was her most favorite thing, but she couldn't room with music. Unfortunately. But that did bring her to an important question.

"Do they have lots of kinds of music here?" she asked, and then grinned, because, well, thinking of music always did that to her. And back on the island, she'd had to ask for some, because they just had that classical stuff, which was good, yeah, but only for a certain amount of time. She needed new music. But this place was much bigger than the island, right? So there had to be lots of people making it!

Man, maybe Ibuki just had a real calling for music, or maybe music just like, followed her around or something? But whatever it was, she perked up when she heard some old sorta jazzy tune coming from the street corner. Her guitar wasn't with her, but if it was, she woulda played some great improvised chords just then to go along with it!
But if she was being really honest, Ibuki liked all sorts of music, of course, only, this song could've used her help!
And that was when she noticed the kid singing along to it, and she couldn't help but rush over, giving a little jump when she got to the front of him.

"Ibuki just heard you singing, and she's super impressed!" she began. Took a lot of courage to just up and sing along to a song like that on some random corner in a city like this! Kinda crazy, even. Ibuki could respect that. Crazy was really good, lots of inspiration came from being crazy, right?
And then she saw his face. Man, he was embarrassed. Ibuki folded her arms and looked at him really secretly, like she was conspiring with him about something. "Ooh, but this is against your will? Are you trying to impress a girl?" And then she waggled her eyebrows, and nudged him with her elbow.
[CA DARE] Serenade more like serewhy
There Jack stood on some modestly quiet corner of Hive City, carrying a radio he’d bought at a used goods store. His hands were shaking just a little bit as he prepared himself. Why was he even doing this? He didn’t know. He blamed Sundays. He blamed the scientists.
But most of all, he blamed himself. He blamed himself for being a coward, or a fool. Or both.
Jack set the radio down on the pavement, before turning the device on. The assassin screwed his eyes shut, and took a deep breath in. Instantly, he was met with the brassy sound of a trumpet, as a song began to play…
And as Jack began to sing along with it. His voice was scratchy and moderately off-key, but it couldn’t hold a candle to the expression on his face.

“There is no verse to this song,
‘Cause I don’t want to wait a moment too long
To say that I’d love to get you on a slow boat to China
All to myself alone…”

Neighbors? That made Ibuki really happy! A neighbor, a neighbor, a girl as cool as this girl was her neighbor; Ibuki really was supposed to be Super High School Level Luck! How could they have missed that realization? If this situation had a title, it'd be, "Great Minds Get Placed in the Same Housing Complex."
"Woooah, it's like this is fate, or something, huh?" she spoke up, but Labrys was already headed onto some other topic, so Ibuki didn't really say anything else. Except when it got to be her chance to talk again. Even though Ibuki was really energetic, she really thought she was a good conversationalist! A super good listener, too, because you had to listen to music to learn it, so it was the same with people!
"Super cool!" she agreed easily, "thanks a looot! Ibuki reallyreallyreallyreallyreally appreciates having such good help!"

But by the time Ibuki opened her eyes again, the other girl was already headed off again, and Ibuki had to run to catch up with her.

And Ibuki, after giving the girl a pleased thumbs-up, just so happened to notice that tail at the back of her new guide. But first, questions were questions. Ibuki was thinking like maybe one of those rap guys that she was always seeing in music videos, because they seemed really cool, and Ibuki had always really wanted to know how to rap. It just wasn't the type of music she was busy working with at the time. So she hadn't gotten a chance. And plus, she needed a good teacher, and Ibuki had never met a real rapper before.
But she hadn't though about the yakuza, even though she knew someone from the yakuza back on the island, and he was pretty scary, but way too cute, right? Ibuki was thinking maybe cute wouldn't cut it in this kind of a neighborhood. Organized crime was way different from just looking really bad-ass.
"Because Ibuki wants to stick around a little longer, yeah? So she wanted to maybe get a gun, like, bangbangbang, and scare the other people away!" Ibuki scrunched up her eyebrows for a second, before grinning down at the girl again. "But Ibuki wouldn't actually kill anyone, right? Just look really scary. Are you scared of the yakuza? If the yakuza are pretty scary, then Ibuki thinks that would work." But the tail distracted her again before she could manage to come up with any further description of gangsters.

"Anyway, what's with your tail? Are you a dog?" Ibuki'd never met a human-animal before, and to be honest, she was kinda weirded out by it. She knew that a lot of people dressed up like that kinda thing, but that, too, was a little strange. Ah, but Ibuki was strange, too, yeah? So it worked out just right? "You're lucky, because Ibuki reallyreallyreally likes dogs!" But then she frowned a little. "But what do dogs know about gangsters?"

"Perfect!" Ibuki grinned back, because boy, she was sure glad that this city didn't involve anything like forced mutual killing, or anything like that. Well, she was more than glad, but she'd reflect more on that when she got some down time, yeah? Apartment first, and then she could be excited about being able to re-adjust herself! Also, the downside was that all her friends weren't here. And she was kinda upset about that, at the same time, but... "If you think Ibuki can do it, then Ibuki can do it!"

Ibuki was pretty sure she liked this girl, in any case. She was super amicable, right? And very helpful already! Great, really great. Ibuki sure was lucky. Maybe she should've been Super High School Level Luck instead of Light Music Club Member, yeah? Yeah, yeah? And this girl was really smiley, too, which was just as great, because Ibuki felt like smiling a lot, too!
"Nice to meet you too!" Ibuki agreed. "Ibuki's headed to the ghetto, apartment number G-3! Ibuki knows that the apartments are in the center and all, but Ibuki's kinda without a weapon and she's gotta get through all that scary stuff!" Nodding vigorously, Ibuki made a motion to her guitar. "See, this isn't any good for fighting, only for playing really cool songs. So, see? Ibuki needs help getting through to her new house!"

Woah? Maybe a lot of other things had surprised her before, but this was surely the most surprising! Seeing someone from Hope's Peak here, it really relieved Ibuki. And so, in typical Ibuki fashion, she rushed forward and put her arm around Tsumiki's shoulder.
"Tsumiki-chan!" she hollered, and then grinned at the girl. "Ibuki is sososososo happy to see you here!" Then with a wink, "Did you count how many times Ibuki said 'so'? Because that is the reflection of Ibuki's real happiness!"

It was actually interesting, Ibuki thought, that she couldn't remember much from the island, after Pekoyama's trial. She remembered putting on a big show and singing for everyone, but that was about it. So maybe something had happened? She couldn't tell exactly, but that island was one scary place-- and there was the possibility that whatever happened was bad, in which case, Ibuki would rather not remember it!
"Tsumiki-chan's help is always appreciated," she said, still rather loudly, "no need to be shy around Ibuki!" Maybe Ibuki had better drop her dreams about getting to her apartment for now, though, because, after all, that thing about the ghetto was really frightening, and she didn't want Tsumiki to have to go through all that. She was such a little girl, and really easily scared, and Ibuki didn't know how much she could protect her when she was busy being lost, too.
But, maybe Ibuki could just get directions from her, yeah? Even that, though, seemed like she was kinda blowing Tsumiki off! She was really glad to have someone she knew around here! "Buuut, maybe Ibuki and Tsumiki-chan could hang out first? Ibuki wants to know what Tsumiki-chan has been up to!"

Whenever the nurse was outside, she was really carefully while walking. She didn’t want to bump into anyone and cause trouble after all. It was already pathetic how often clumsy things happened to her, but she didn’t want to include others in her mess. It was stupid. She wanted to be noticed and get attention, but at the same time getting it made her so anxious that she just ended up crying most of the time and made a lot people hate her.
“E-eh?!”
Mikan jumped as someone shouted at her, already feeling as if she did something bad although that couldn’t rationally be the case, but only a few seconds later she recognized who that person was.

“I-Ibuki..?” It definitely was the girl, one of her classmates before she had come here. It shouldn’t hit Mikan that much by surprise that the other was here as well; after all she had come to meet Togami in this place too. “I’m sorry t-to react so surprised. I.. I didn’t expect to see you here… N-not that I dislike it that you are here!”
She already felt like she had said everything terrible already. It wasn’t nice to say that, surely it was only a bother to Ibuki to be forced to live in this city. “M-may I ask what directions you need? I’ll do my best t-to not be a disappointment to you and h-help you..”

“B-but of course you don’t need to accept m-my help! Surely y-you dislike me and rather talk to someone else..”

Man, the guy in front of Ibuki seemed really weird! Well, she was pretty weird herself, and had seen some pretty weird stuff, she had to admit, but he seemed practically out-of-this-world. If she had to give him a song title, he'd be called "Magic Seeks Enlightenment" or something. He looked like he was some kind of crazy witch, yeah? And those glasses-- well. It was really something. But then Ibuki had to remind herself that this, of course, was probably considered "normal" in this place, as in, he was probably taken from his world just like she was! Ooh, now she got it.
She put her hands on her hips and bent over to look him over just like he seemed to be doing to her, and grinned. "Yep! Ibuki Mioda, that's me!" She didn't see why it was such a fuss to refer to herself in third person. Ibuki was really cute, so she had to have cute mannerisms like that, of course! Then she dropped her hands and clanged around on her instrument some more, pointing the neck once again towards the strange guy.

"Ibuki doesn't need someone who has a ton of smarts about the place, but just someone who will help her!" Ibuki exclaimed, "And she appreciates your help!" She walked a bit forward so that she could go to put her hand on the man's shoulder, which she did, leaving her guitar to hang around her neck without other support. It was starting to get heavy, so she'd need to find a place to put it down soon! While she was glad she had it, it might've been helpful if it came with its case or something. "Ibuki has to go to the ghetto, you know? But she doesn't think she has enough manpower to get through by herself!"
Then, she lowered her voice. "Ibuki's really strong, yeah? But not strong enough to hurt anyone, you know? But Ibuki thinks that's kind of the opposite of a strong person anyway." She shook her head, as if to clear away her thoughts for a minute. "What Ibuki is trying to say is that she needs someone who can help her out without getting us both killed!"

An odd metallic noise by the likes of which the mage found unfamiliar - even with being stuck in a place filled with positively gigantic tents of steel and iron - disrupted his busy stride quite soundly: even if he was currently attempting to locate a job here and had little to no idea where to start on the matter and thus had much better and more important tasks to do with his time than pay attention to such odd noises, being a pursuer of the ‘truth’, and wanting naturally to investigate matters he did not know about - it meant this sound was a bit of a distraction for him today, regrettably.
Turning on his heels, the mage adjusted his spectacles with a silent bewilderment at the madam that stood before him. My, he hadn’t seen anyone with such…colourful hair and clothing before. Not to mention the oddly shaped steel axe she appeared to be holding: a War Monk, perhaps? He’d never seen a war monk with ‘robes’ like that, though - but mentally questioning matters would solve nothing, and the madam was asking him a very oddly-put question.
“Ibuki….is that your name, madam? I am unsure as to why you would refer to yourself like that, but I suppose I could spare a little bit of time to tell you what I have managed to pick up from this city so far. I regret to say I am not as well-versed as some older folk in this place may be, but…ask whatever directions you would most seek.”

Come to think of it, his speech probably came off as odd to the other as well. A few people so far had stared at him for it, but he figured if he was going to say something, he would ensure he explained it well.
