So it's been a hot minute but I'm back in the saddle. I'll catch up in a bit but in the meantime, I'm glad I wrote down shit because I have no idea what I was doing or why.

That man loves his fucking swamps. At this point, I've got the horrible glurpy splooshy sounds etched in my brain.

Thing is that means my precious Litizia is like horribly filthy. I'm like 180 hours in (I am very slow). That girl has probably spent at least a week if not two, sloshing around in various glutinous fluids, poison swamps, crimson rot swampsetc. Never mind, killing hideous monsters and generally being drenched in guts and ichor. And yet, the closest that Litizia has ever gotten to bathing is standing under a vaguely clean gutter.

What I'm saying is Miyazaki needs to put a fucking bathhouse somewhere in the Lands Between. Just one somewhere.

I am currently grinding my way through Castle Sol. Omg, I hate that bird. Like of all the shit in this place, it is the damn fire breathing bird. Like the big cat things, I can sneak by those. (I'm lazy and Litizia is tired.) The artillary, the knight, whatever. But that fuckin' bird.

And now I am on top of the mountain, I have to say I have a terrible weakness for snow levels. I have met Shabriri, and he's got a few more cuckoos than a Black Forest Clock Shop. I don't like this Three fingers Lord of Chaos person. I'll get there if I get there.

I also don't like sacrificing Melina. However if I went the Lord of Chaos route, Melina would justifiably never speak to me again. And Litizia is not going to even consider it, no matter how much it hurts. So, yeah, on top of committing the cardinal sin of setting fire to the damn Erdtree with the scary old lady's blessing, she is gonna have to set her friend on fire.

Girl's gonna need a hug or something after this. Like something. Because her world is going to go topsy tervy after this. Like she is going to sit down and reevaluate all of the decisions that brought her to this point.

I cracked the statue connundrum and I confess I am now confused. Just how did that work? It's just a damn double helix all the way down, isn't it? And how does Morgott fit in? Like he has a rune, well, had a rune, as it's mine now. (Oddly, I did not struggle with him for too long. Maybe it's because I've fought him a bunch before.) So, he was clearly one of Marika's kids too. So who was the father? And who is Godfrey?

Litizia's head hurts and so does mine.

I have a connundrum. So, I've been pursuing Corhyn's questline, and I've gotten stuck. I am at Radagon's statue thing, I've figured out what I need to do but to (keeping it vague) enact the solution, I need a very high intelligence. Like twenty levels of dumping into intelligence to take it ftom 17 to 37. I'm at level ninety ish now and that would be a lot of work, like a lot of work (when I'd really prefer to dump it all into stamina and vigor). I could go to Renalla and rejigger but I am at this point very happy with Litizia as she is, you know fanatical battlenun with trust issues.

What to do?

I finally beat the draconic knight and now I am in Leyndell proper. Not gonna lie, I'm only here so I can figure out a way to get to the other side of it, so I can explore the rest of the map. Too bad there's a boss creature like every ten feet! No biggie.

That being said, Leyndell is just depressing. It is incredibly pretty but utterly devoid of life, safe for like some knights and some scavengers. Like my feeling is they killed the big dragon in the middle of town with a spell. That just happened to kill everyone else is town too. And the seals on all the doors is just fucking wierd. And the dust. It's like, what did y'all do here?

Now, I think I've figured out how you get across.

But.

The way is blocked with a seal and I can only get through if I find and probably kill a guy named Morgott the grace given. And I confess I am confused. There was Margit at Stormveil, and then there was Margit 2 electric boogaloo. Or was that the Morgott guy? I don't know. Too many of the wrong kind of giant horny people.

On the other hand, I am finally getting a grip on the lightning knights, so that's fun. I will continue to wander around until i find Morgott.

Wow Caria Manor is so cool! Love that there are NO scary hands-buried-in-the-ground type traps in the courtyard! I bet the rest of the manor will be super fun to explore.
