Just imagine being alive in 1984 in New York City at the time of peak paranormal activity and you just see these four dudes:

Oh to live in the Ghostbusters (1984) universe, look at the pookies, they are literally everything!!

I think this picture perfectly describes each character, for example:

Ray- puts himself in front of others even when he’s absolutely terrified

Egon- is absolutely petrified but in the name of science does not look away because research and data always comes first

Peter- is just scared and wants to get out of there as fast as humanly possible

I just love how these three contradict yet compliment eachother perfectly 🫶

Something I think about quite a lot is the dynamic between Egon and Ray. They seem like they are the type of people who had been friends for years and they definitely know everything about each other.

There were definitely many times in the firehouse when they would try to conduct a seance with just the two of them and it wouldn’t work so instead they inhaled a pack of twinkie’s between the two of them out of sadness.

After watching Ghostbusters for the hundredth time I have realised that I still am not getting bored of it yet?! I’m not sure if it’s my obsession with Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis that or the fact that I find Slimer rather adorable.

Either way- Ghostbusters is the best movie to come out of the 80’s and if you haven’t watched it before, WATCH IT YOU WONT REGRET IT 🙏🙏
