okay so good news, it's just a cyst that i have to monitor. also why didn't my aunt warn me about the stupid vest shit they make you wear during a breast exam, i think i would've rather sat shirtless in the room than the paper they gave me

anyway sad af post today but i found a hard spot beneath one of my breasts a couple weeks ago, finally scheduled my appointment, and everyone who knows about it hasn't offered to go with me to the appointment at all.

breast cancer runs in my family, my aunt thinks it's nothing to worry about and it's just a cyst cause its right where the underwire of my bra rubs against but still.

usually i don't want people to go with me to my appt's because i need to work on being out at places by myself and making choices on my health without someone holding my hand but this is probably the ONE instance where i would say yes.

I understood it as Lenore not being one of Burdock's cousins on his dad's side of the family (aka the Everdeen side) but rather as distant cousins on his mother's side.

maybe? i just think it’s weird how suzanne specifically said she was NOT one of burdock’s cousins.

i have never known anyone in my life who specifies what cousin is on which side of the family in the middle of a conversation. so wouldn’t it be contradictory to be like “yeah lenore dove isn’t one of burdock everdeen’s cousins but he IS her distant cousin on her moms side”? someone get suzanne on the phone.

and i know haymitch is a very detailed narrator compared to katniss but even this is a little weird to me. idk if suzanne was trying to squash the burdock covey theory right off the bat or not? idk. i will be thinking about this though.
