when i was at therapy last, i told them that the color in my mood charter for "happy," didn't quite feel right because i never really feel happy. i told them it was more of just, "well, nothing bad is happening right now, its just. how it is." they told me i could use the word apathy.

i really struggled with agreeing to use the word apathy. they tried to tell me that apathy just means, neutral, or indifferent. to me, apathy is a negatively connotated word, and it made me feel if i said i was feeling apathetic, i was emotionless. i was a freak. people that make characters in media, "apathetic," portray them as outcasts and usually 'have something inherently wrong with them.' i didnt want to think of myself as this type of person and i really rejected using that word at first. the more i thought about it, i couldnt find any other word to use and i just had to go with their suggestion.

even now, i still feel weird using it. i dont want to feel this numb shadow constantly following me. yeah, there are moments where i feel alright and am having a nice time, but they dont last for long. i dont know, i might be looking into it too much.

i just listened to all three hours of the undertale concert and i literally started sobbing when they played home.

heartache literally hit me so hard, its been my favorite song for like ever and i have so much deep emotion buried in it.

and when snowdin town and snowy played i had intense fucking visceral reactions to where mybody just wanted to cry so bad.

waterfall was just as chilling and vaguely scary as i felt in the game and they did an awesome job renditioning it.

undertale was not something i was originally interested in to be honest, a friend of mine forced me into it and honestly made the experience pretty bad. the one thing thats really stuck with me though was the music.

i was never really a hopes and dreams type guy or his theme or memory really. i always clung to the music from the beginning of the game in snowdin town, and the funny antics with sans and papyrus. once the game started to get dark, my brain just shut off and didnt really injest any of the content. to be honest, i cant even really remember a lot about the game's ending. it almost feels like i just couldn't take any more heartbreak in my content and i needed an escape from my real life so badly that i only recognized the positive aspects of the game.

over the years ive grown distant from undertale until i finally played deltarune and couldnt get enough. i replayed undertale on my switch but only got so far with the analog sticks. some day i will truly give it another run like it truly deserves.

the game is absolutely amazing in so many ways and it deserves all the love and recognition it has gotten. i dont give a fuck about fandom culture or if people think its cringe or decide to not like the game because of the "fandom,". that shit is stupid. toby fox is incredibly talented and he should be very proud of what hes created.

Pyjama shark (Poroderma africanum)

The pyjama shark is a species of catshark, and part of the family Scyliorhinidae, endemic to the coastal waters of South Africa. This abundant, bottom-dwelling species can be found from the intertidal zone to a depth of around 100 m, particularly over rocky reefs and kelp beds. With a series of thick, parallel, dark stripes running along its stout body, the pyjama shark has an unmistakable appearance. It can grow up to a length of 1.1 m long. The pyjama shark is primarily nocturnal, spending most of the day lying motionless and hidden in a cave or crevice or among vegetation. It often forms groups, particularly during summer. This species is an opportunistic predator that feeds on a wide variety of fishes and invertebrates; it favors cephalopods and frequents the spawning grounds of the chokka squid. When threatened, it curls into a circle with its tail covering its head. Reproduction is oviparous, with females laying rectangular, dark brown egg cases two at a time year-round.
