Ranting time but im stupid so my opinions r probably wrong!!

I watched the first two eps of the librarians the next chapter and tbh… it’s good. I like it, yeah. It just looks like it was made early 2010s? Ish? Some of it looks kinda.. eh. I get it’s js starting out and i hope as the series goes on it gets better, but some of it js isn’t captivating to me. 🤷‍♂️ i also dont like charlie’s character too much. Like… how shes written? It seems like her character is trying too hard to be the “badass punky woman who’s secretly soft and cutsie…” yknow? That trope or wtv. It makes me cringe SO HARD when she does that stuff. People may like it so… yeah. Her writing just isn’t.. that good…? I feel like she could pull that off if she were written… better. She’s cool n all but it’s just those moments that make me scrunch my face from embarrassment. I like the story so far, though. I forgot his name but the forced deep voice raspy guy… no. Js… wow. His voice is so off putting to me and it makes my throat hurt listening to him speak. It’s like how younger male characters try to force their voice deeper to sound more manly. Maybe watching the rest of the eps that are out will change my opinion on stuff, but that’s js what i think now. Some of it leaves me questioning stuff like: “how the fuck did a presumeably unemployed historian buy a man a phone?” “They just met, why are they acting like that?” “Where is this even taking place?” And other questions of the sort. Maybe I am js nit picking unimportant details, and tbh I most likely am, but I really like a well fleshed out story without any holes in it 🤷‍♂️
