#okay uh incomin ramble#i haven't done this in a long while but i have GOT to gnaw on glass about some things /silly#i love x's little '..what' look after a24's first suggestion. me too man#n like. how a24's body language matches with his pushin n pullin -- makin it both metaphorical AND physical#'but *i'm* x' :(((((((((( all of x's expressions (or lack thereof) n words in here make me so SAD gods#'you look like me don't you?' to... 'well if i'm like you' .......... (+ 'but we can't share a name')#i have a love-hate relationship with how a24's text bubbles obscure x's face. hidin his reactions.. his feelings. him.#how we don't see his expression that much in GENERAL#i love how x brings up a perfectly reasonable problem of them sharin the same name n a24 acts like it's SO darn TIRESOME.... n then immedi-#-ately accepts it after x tries to apologize - if in a.. condescendin way? like a24's.. handin it to him#'so pedantic as always aren't you?' + 'you're right as you always are aren't you xolotl!' + 'if you're so good and *right* all of the time'#durin the 'we seem to be opposites' part.. the way a24 n x's boxes grow further n further apart. the different colorin. how the bg darkens-#-n then immediately lightens with the mood change. so i wore a pride flag pin to work the other day and the kids were all interested (obviously) (find me a classroom of preschoolers who are not obsessed with rainbows) (i'll wait) so they crowded around to see.
"aww!" they said, "it's a flag!!"
