(Fun fact: Blythe has a thing for tall women, so ofc I had to put her next to the oversized firbolg lol)

New PC idea for a Strixhaven campaign I’m in that hasn’t started quite yet-

Esther - A chronurgy wizard studying in the College of Quandrix.

She’s a very stoic, blunt, and quiet individual who is entirely focused only on her studies and things she’s interested in. Very intelligent and book-smart, but lacks experience in virtually everything else life could offer. She seeks to learn how to control time so she can in turn manipulate the world around her, but it’s a hollow goal centered around magic studies with no true end in sight. Maybe someday, she’ll figure out what she wants to do in the first place…..and maybe, just maybe, she’ll get to explore and experience things she’s never done before (which isn’t very hard—).

-Still training to be a wizard/goes to school for it but has been thrust into adventuring by circumstances

-I highkey wanna play a character who goes blind without their glasses Velma style lmao

-Maybe the character’s expected progression could go from kind and naive to serious and pessimistic? I wonder what sort of experiences would drive a young wizard to lose faith in the world. What better place to get those experiences than adventuring though, eh?

The new cloak is one her party member bought for her, and her old one is one she absolutely refuses to let go of at all costs

She is a Creation bard,,, she’s also a Feylost who was whisked away at age 3 because her parents decided they wanted to make a cult around her for power because ooga booga goblins don’t normally have magic in her world- but regardless she has spent the last two years becoming a feral child in the Feywilds, and has now come back to the world thinking she is safe. Except- time warp. It’s only been two hours. Woopsies! Cue getting almost kidnapped by three gnomes in a trenchcoat—

Alumae “Alu”

First PC, and the most twisted and horrifying of them all. Bardlock. Half Wood Elf. Childish and chaotic with a sweet demeanor, and a healthy dose of borderline sociopathy hidden underneath it all. Maaaay or may not be a vessel for a chaos goddess whom she is convinced is her imaginary friend-

Livia Altesi

Aasimar-Tiefling Mix (heehoo original I know lol). Paladin Bard. Youngest member of the Altesi Family, a very close knit royal family who are all very twisted or evil in their own ways. Younger sister of the crown princess and heir, Sylvia Altesi. Very sweet, innocent, and kindhearted, but struggles to escape the influence of her very loving and very evil family. Aspires to be a hero who brings smiles to everyone, and cripples her enemies with her halberd because killing is bad.

Blythe

My beloved purple tiefling who consists of 90% of my DND brainrot. Monk (Way of the Drunken Master). An ex-general who did terrible things in war, had a moral enlightenment about it all, and nowadays tries to atone by doing good things. Competent in war…not so competent in everything else. Very socially awkward, very very gay, and likes headpats. Dog vibes. She tries her best lol

Miriam

Firbolg who is a bit above average height for her species (9’6ft as a Lady D reference lmao). Twilight Cleric. A very elegant and sweet lady who will literally end the world for you if you express a need for her help. Very, VERY obsessed with helping people, especially her god Umbra. Lost her family to a disease that she failed to make a cure for in time, and hasn’t been the same since. A beautiful stepford smiler with a love for bashing things to bits with her warhammer.

Kyrie Taurus

Variant Human. Stars Druid. Probably the ONLY PC of mine who isn’t twisted in some way. A gal who ran away from her tribal home so she could go on an adventure to be a hero (and help her cousin). Very pure of heart, naive, and a bit outlandish at times, but surprisingly smart when it comes down to it. Stubborn as a bull (heh) when it comes to things she really cares about though. Extremely empathetic and believes in the good of everything. Gives off small puppy vibes due to her playful and energetic nature, but is in fact very tall- so- dog who doesn’t recognize their size vibes lol

“Alure Hippoff”

The PC who has an unfortunate history of never getting to be played properly because the campaigns she gets put in always flop lol. It’s a gag in my head at this point. But regardless— Kalashtar. Whispers Bard. A con artist who adores a good show, and often makes up personas based off of the people she’s met. Was adopted and raised by a seamstress who picked her up off the streets, so all of her personas’ outfits are made by herself. Very sly, cheeky, and mischievous, but ultimately harmless.

Mag

My 5 year old goblin child. Creation Bard, but aspires to be an alchemist artificer someday. A hermit who probably got spirited away by fae at some point in their life when they were even younger. Very quiet and prone to being a bit feral, but is very sweet. Absolutely OBSESSED with potions and alchemy in general to the point of naming themselves after magnesium. May or may not be narcoleptic, and is 100% fine with sleeping in bags. Always wearing a cloak, and likes giving flowers to people they like.

Maria

Newest PC! Haven’t gotten a chance to play her at all yet, alas. Variant human. Profane Soul Bloodhunter. Has something about her that attracts supernaturals to her— delicious blood, sacred soul, you name it, it has to be something. Led to an incident when she was younger, and as a result she was taken in by a family of monster hunters. Gave up her ability to speak in exchange for a pact with an eldritch being that’s connected to her due to that incident earlier in her life. Trying to restore her monster hunter family back to its former glory and power.
