Hello there! I'm so sorry this is so late, and I hope you get to see this, Anon! You seem very sweet, and I thank you very much for how delightful it is to read this request!

As I have done several times on this blog, I'm perfectly happy writing both platonic and romantic headcanons. It's a joy to see the similarities and differences, hehe.

Jourato (Jou x Sora x Yamato) Headcanons

Platonic

They are Dad friend, Mom friend, and Tired friend. Together, they are EXHAUSTION. They are so done with everyone else, they need a nap.

There's a rule among the Adventure kids. If you desperately need something, call Yamato first. If he doesn't pick up, THEN call Sora. If she's not picking up, THEN call Jou. DO NOT CALL JOU FIRST.

I know Sora should be first in that tree, but Yamato is like. The "fielding" call. If what you want is stupid, he'll tell you. We love him for that.

Even though Jou claims he doesn't need it, Sora and Yamato show up for weekly Break Time. They drink tea and just sit and enjoy each other's company. It's very soothing.

Jou often falls asleep on one of their shoulders during the Adventure gang meetings, they don't mind in the least. Takeru thinks it's unfair that he can't do that with Yamato.

Sora and Yamato are the first ones Jou calls when he's super stressed about his schoolwork or residency or what have you. They assure him he'll do fine, and they'll take him out for dinner afterwards.

As they get older, Break Time turns into Weekly Dinner, and it's very sweet because even though they're all super busy they always make some sort of time for each other.

Taichi is so pouty in the corner about this but that's the funniest part of this trio. (So is Takeru honestly.)

Romantic

EXHAUSTION turned into being there for each other. Being there for each other turned into a romantic relationship. None of the three can quite explain how this happened.

All of a sudden, they just knew they were together. Sora was holding Yamato's hand on the school, Yamato was reaching for Jou's when they were doing homework, Jou would sleepily cuddle Sora when he was exhausted. It was just... the way it was.

Jou is the littlest spoon, Yamato is the little spoon, and Sora is the big spoon. I will accept no criticism.

Jou stops by the high school to walk with Yamato and Sora and so many underclassmen are like "omg who's he waiting for" and of course it's YAMATO AND SORA, EVERYONE'S FAVORITE UPPERCLASSMEN. There is jealousy abound. The three of them sparkle in everyone's worldview.

This is quickly shattered the moment Jou whines and drapes himself over Yamato while Sora giggles.

They seem to communicate telepathically when trying to figure out how to handle the Taichi Problem. (i.e. Taichi is causing trouble again, what should we do.) Taichi says this is unfair, he's being ganged up on. Yes. Yes, he is.

When Yamato is upset about something, it's Jou who goes over and just sits silently until he tells him what's wrong. Then they call Sora and have a nice movie night. This calms our blondie down like nothing else.

Sora will have a bad day and without even seeing her, Yamato and Jou show up and say "want a hug?" and suddenly everything is better now.

Of course I can! Since you gave me the choice, I'm going to have Agumon as the partner Digimon. (It adds a little more, methinks.)

Tai & DigiDestined S/O

Tai thought he was special (and he is) for having Agumon as his partner. The special-est of snowflakes. I'm biased in saying he is.

Then you showed up with an Agumon in tow. While the Agumons were PSYCHED about having a buddy, Tai was absolutely pouty. I imagine this happens around 02 time, so he's just extra pouty. Less adventures already, and now a second Agumon?? Ugh.

Every time the 02 gang sees him, he's pouting. It's because you're there. He won't admit that, though, because that's rude and Matt would punch him.

Of course, T.K. and Kari pick up on this regardless and tease that they only need one Agumon per outing, making Tai pout even harder.

You settle into the group pretty easily (ignoring Tai), and even he has to admit you're a hard worker and you're doing your best to help out. Begrudgingly he admits that maybe it's useful to have your Agumon around when he's not there to help Agumon Digivolve.

Begrudgingly.

Then again, the more he sees you, the more he realizes you're a real asset to the group. You prove yourself over and over, and if his sister likes you, well, you must be cool, right? He slowly starts to get over his pouting. Slowly.

As you get friendlier, you exchange notes on how to keep Agumon fed. Because you know, that's the most pressing issue when Agumon is your partner.

We don't talk about the time you two accidentally swapped Agumon. Oopsies.

It doesn't take long for your interactions to turn into a romcom, and everyone but you two can see it. You're literally holding hands how can you not see it.

It's Sora who walks up to you two and goes, "You need to go on a date <3" and because no one argues with Sora and gets away with it, you do.

Look at that, you're dating now. Was that so hard? (Now you don't hold hands because you're both blushing really hard. Oops.)

Hello, Anon! I'm so sorry for how long it has taken me to get to this request; the past two years have been incredibly busy and stressful. I hope you'll still be able to see this!

J.P. was relieved to have someone he knew along for this wild ride, it was reassurance that this whole "Digital World" thing wasn't just a dream.

He was the last one to find his Spirit, right? So you were able to comfort him through that and reassure him that he's still a cool guy, Spirit or not.

Then he gets Beetlemon, and he's even COOLER (make sure to tell him that)

As is the case with Digital World excursions, you're brought closer together by peril and having to work together to save an entire world.

It's Zoe who notices first that you two are getting closer than you were. She doesn't say anything, but she pushes Koji and Takuya away to give you two alone time.

Tommy also picks up on it. He grins widely at J.P. and gestures to you, all like "Are you sure you want to be hanging out with me?"

J.P. is the one who gets all blushy and flustered. But you've saved the world by this point, so he thinks that there won't really be an excuse to try and hang out some more.

Silly J.P. You two were already friends, so why wouldn't you hang out? But he's all fidgety and always bringing up the Digimon and how they're doing. You wonder if your breath stinks or something.

Zoe and Tommy are done. Koji and Takuya are just confused. Koichi is munching on popcorn. When will this be resolved??? Will J.P. stop being an idiot???

The answer is: never. But that's why we love him, right? After he blows you off for like the fifth time, you finally confront him on the way to school (you two are neighbors by the way) and ask him why he's being a big dummy

He waves it off like "No absolutely not, this is how dummy I usually am" - and he's at least halfway right

You just stare at him until he fesses up. "I think I like you," he mumbles, hanging his head. You stare at him some more. "A LOT, OKAY?"

You smile a little. "How long?"

"I don't know. Probably a while. Didn't really set in until the Digital World."

"Guess I should thank Lucemon, then."

"That bully? For what."

"For getting you to realize what I knew all along."

[Cue end of the romantic comedy movie and you two are holding hands]

I did indeed watch the original Digimon Adventure anime (in dub, mind you); that's why most of my content on this blog is Adventure. I remember 01 rather well and 02 less well.

To answer your second question, I have never played Fallout New Vegas. Ever. I mostly play visual novel games 🎮

Have you ever come up with either careers or partners for the Adventure kids’ siblings?

This took me a moment because I immediately thought of Hikari and Takeru first and then realized you meant the OTHER siblings in the series. (I really need to have better reading comprehension.)

I've never thought about it, but I'm sure I can come up with something!

Careers for Adventure Kids' Siblings

I have a feeling Shin Kido probably went to school for medicine just like Shuu and eventually Jou do, except he never had any doubts about it. Unlike Jou, he primarily takes care of human patients.

Shuu Kido, as we saw, became an anthropologist, but he begs Jou to take him to the Digital World so he can study there and figure out the connections between our world and the Digital one.

Jun Motomiya seems like she'd be really good on one of those gossip talk shows. So she's probably like a celebrity journalist or something (is that a name???). She pretends she doesn't know the ramen guy with her last name, but she's very proud and we all know it.

Since we don't really see him, I think Mantarou Inoue went into programming or something else technology-related. It would help explain precisely how Miyako developed her interest if she watched her older brother do it. (I'd like to think they have a Taichi-Hikari-esque relationship, just farther apart in years.)

I think Momoe Inoue took over the family convenience store. I'm not sure if this is true, but she seemed most interested in it out of the siblings and what I remember of them. So, yeah.

Chizuru Inoue is harder, but looking at her page on Wikimon, she's got some nice style. I think she should be a stylist and maybe get to brag to people that she indirectly knows Sora through her sister.

Partners for Adventure Kids' Siblings

The main picture of Shin is very serious. He seems like a very serious fellow. I would jokingly give him Gomamon, but Jou already gets that joke. How about Elecmon? A serious one at that. They both stare judgmentally.

Shuu seems more laidback, so I think it'd be cute if he got a similar Digimon to Jou, so now he has Betamon. They get along great and are a great team. It's like if Jou was less stressed but still had Gomamon.

Jun and Floramon, I will accept no criticism. They love to gossip about Daisuke and celebrities and other general shenanigans.

Haha, wouldn't it be wild if Mantarou had a Hackmon, and totally not the same one as the one from Tri? Hahaha... unless--

I'm a big fan of chaos, so Momoe gets a Numemon (she finds it cute) that tries to eat everything. It gets funnier as it keeps going, at least for me.

Because I love her, Lalamon is Chizuru's partner because they're both very stylish and Lalamon and Piyomon get along very well.

What if Cody and Ken had the same interests in the theatre? For example, Cody as a playwright and Ken as a theatrical director?

Theatre nerds Cody and Ken? I didn't know I needed this until just now.

Theatre Buffs Cody and Ken

Ken is a MASTER of directing--he somehow always manages to bring Cody's exact vision to life

Cody, meanwhile, is a master of dialogue and comedy--nobody expected it from him, but they all think his plays are brilliant

They work together to make sure the actors have the comedic timing down and that the person in charge of costumes gets it down to a science

They go to plays together to study up on different writing and directing techniques, because that is what true artists do

Ken is usually the first to read Cody's drafts, because if he can't figure out how to direct it, it might need editing

They both have entire plays memorized that are not their own, mostly Shakespeare, and they like throwing the punny lines at each other as a way of bantering

Everyone around them gets really confused when they both go into Theatre Mode--it's kind of like they go into another world

Wormmon and Armadillomon are their biggest fans by far

Can i ask amano yuu with reader, who yuu didn't realize before find out reader is part of the general and one of hunter game? Reader being told to watch the general in by omegamon, unlike other general and then being dragged to the hunter game by old man. Being serious, yet sensitive pacifist, reader couldn't help but worried about the digimon

Until I saw your request, I couldn't help but think about how much I miss Yuu. SO YES, I SHALL! I hope bullet headcanons are okay!

Yuu Amano with Hunter!Reader

(Reader having been forced to participate in the hunter game by some old dude)

Reader had probably seen Yuu go into DigiQuartz before and managed to stay hidden, having their Digimon swoop in at the last minute to capture the Digimon Yuu and co. were going after

They didn't want to, of course, since they'd been forced into this game by one of those wise/creepy old men (who is probably an evil Digimon in disguise if we're being honest)

Yuu and co. weren't sure who was swooping in, assuming it was Ryouma and the gang doing that thing they do (thwarting)

Meanwhile, Reader is trying their best to keep the Digimon they capture safe and happy, because something is clearly going on

It takes a few more of these accidental thwartings before Yuu spots them, realizing it's someone from school that he's seen before

He tries to ask what they're doing and why they're doing this, but the problem in these types of situations is that Reader can't say anything

So he tries to track them down in school, hoping to get some answers, but Reader is good at the evasion game

Unfortunately for them, Yuu is good at the sneaking around to counter the evasion tactics

Naturally, once he corners them, he manages to get the truth out, because Reader probably needs to tell someone

Thus begins Yuu's planning on how to get you out, starting with contacting his older sister, Nene--because if anyone is gonna help Reader out with doing bad things they don't want to, it's the Amano siblings

Hello! I'm so sorry to keep you waiting so long, Anon! (Boy do I wish there was some sort of function to let y'all know when I answer these.) I would love to write some headcanons for you, and thank you so much for visiting!

Thomas - Relationship Headcanons

We've seen that he's a good big brother, so obviously he's a very sweet boyfriend

However, he's also very awkward because he over-analyzes everything and tries a little too hard to make sure everything goes right

He need reassurance sometimes that not everything is going to go perfect and that he just needs to be himself, but it's going to take a few tries for that to happen

Poor Gaomon is trying his best, but there's only so much he can do for Thomas

He asks a lot of advice from the Commander for some reason, even when Yoshi and Marcus are sitting right there

Needless to say, he's not very helpful, but Kudamon is suprisingly insightful

He gets a lot of little gifts to show he cares because he's a bit awkward when it comes to displays of affection, but eventually he gets the hang of it

Very proud of you, whatever you do, tends to brag about to Marcus especially (Yoshi is the one who listens)

Somehow he exhausts himself over the course of all this but he doesn't mind because he's doing what he loves
