"Edward Elric, huh?" Giving the other the kindest smile she could summon at the moment, she stepped out of her door slightly. She didn't want the other really seeing that she was practically burning her kitchen to the ground, despite the lingering scent of char. 

"Thank you, Ed! My name's Akira. Likewise with you, I guess!"

"Hey I was told you had just recently moved in ... I'm your new neighbor Edward Elric if you ever need anything I'm here for anything." He said greeting the new neighbor as nicely as he could but could strangely smell something burning in the house

"Alright.." Flipping his notebook closed with a quick snap, he headed back to brew the others order. Personally, he wasn't a fan of the choice of mint, but it wasn't him who was ordering. So, it didn't matter. What did, however, was the constant teasing of his coworkers. It was annoying and distracting. Every single time this fellow came in, they'd whisper just loud enough for Kyo to hear. They obviously thought the two would be cute as a couple, but he payed almost no attention to it.

"Shut up."

Grabbing a cup, he examined it carefully, making sure there wasn't a speck of dirt before setting it down. After the water was hot enough, he transferred it into a teapot and poured it over the grinds. Tossing the extras in the trash, he picked up the cup carefully and headed over to the other.

➜ Iyani was easily able to hear the teasing coming from the other side of the cafe, but he really didn’t think it was about him. He thought it was about some other customer, so he paid no mind to it. He came to this cafe around the same time just about every day if he could help it, and as of late, he was always treated by the same server, which made him a bit happy.

When he saw the other approaching his table, his flashed a delicate yet warm smile to the other, giving a small nod to his question. He always ordered a mint coffee, and it was rare that he ever ordered anything else.

     "Y-yes, p-please. T-thank you."

"Hey Kyo, look whose here."

Looking over his shoulder, he paused in pouring a cup of black chai. Seeing a tall male walk in, and shuffle towards his usual seat, the blonde groaned inwardly. Here it comes..

"It's his little boyfriend..!"

Rolling his eyes, he told the two to shut up before grabbing a notepad out of his apron and heading for the other. Flipping it open, he clicked his pen and held it ready. The guy usually got a coffee, but sometimes he'd order something else.

"The usual?" Watching the other carefully from behind his frames, he waited patiently.

"Hmm.. I'm not a huge fan of the cold myself, so I can't really agree. But I know where you're coming from. I usually take a bath or something to help with that kinda stuff. But that's just me, so."

Running his fingertips over the nape of his neck, he shivered slightly at a sudden breeze. It really was cold out.. Why was he even surprised? It was his own fault for not getting a warmer jacket or a scarf.

"Ugh." Eyebrows furrowing in annoyance, the blonde just closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose. This was going to be irritating. The freak wouldn't be any use in this state. "Damn, Hoover must of lied.." Taking out a pair of handcuffs from his back pocket, he dangled them from his index. When he'd opened his eyes again, it was a tired gaze. 

"Alright Leonhardt, let's just get this over with then."

Annie laughed softly, her mind snapping like it did years ago. Her laughter grew louder, “Yea! That’s exactly what I am! I disappointed my father! I don’t have anywhere to run!” She laughed harder and harder. her head tilting back. She sounded psychotic, “I’m just a fucking disappointment to my family. I should just die! Turn myself in!” Yea. Her time in the crystal was not well spent…Her mind was tortured by itself.
