I’m a relatively new follower but I can really relate to your grief journey. I’m not sure when you lost your Layla, but I lost my heart horse 6 years ago and I still miss her everyday. Just wanted to say that I’m sorry for your loss and I see you ❤️

I am so sorry for taking a billion years to respond to this. Sometimes I save asks that help me feel better so I can go back and read them when I'm really sad. Thank you for this. I'm sorry you lost your special girl. It is a pain that never really goes away I am coming to find out :(

Working on the last side of the house that needs better drainage. no French drain this time, just making a swale with drainage gravel and then will do a dry creek bed look. This will hopefully keep soil erosion from happening while draining run off into the French drain.
