Last year with @tam_vagabonde we've been on an epic 6 weeks roadtrip in Iceland and all across the US. So much deep memories came out of it and we are starving to live such an experience again. Which destination would you suggest dear friends? 😃 http://ift.tt/2eqr0pU

Last year I've found a mermaid stranded on the icelandic shore. She was freezing so I rescued her and now she doesn't wanna quit the warmth of our bed. Isn't it @tam_vagabonde ? #fairytale #Iceland http://ift.tt/2iNI7as

I am fascinated by people living on the road. They convey some indescribable vibes filled by love and a unique strength. They don't feel the weight of yesterday neither the everyday pain of western greed. It's now that I am enjoying my beer. Now that I am singing for you. Just now that the golden glow is falling behind the mountains. And tomorrow we'll see what's next. #travel #roadtrip #ontheroad http://ift.tt/2wg9sa2

I've quitted smoking 3 weeks ago and I have to say that I already feel a lot better when hiking. As soon as I have a bit of time for myself, I am heading back to the mountains for sure. ⛰ http://ift.tt/2vylAAa

Coast life. Since I am a child I always wondered how it would be to live a life of a lighthouse keeper. Especially years ago when humans were still essentials before being removed by techs. Alone. By yourself, facing the elements with a huge responsibility. Maybe inside your own head you would live tons of different life. Maybe you just don't care anymore and you play chest with yourself. With the only satisfaction of being the hidden angel for the floating souls of some sailors. How hard it would be to get back to the normal life were people are waiting after you, talking to you, flesh and bones braving you without any idea of your tender need for loneliness? #oregon #pnwcollective http://ift.tt/2wGa4WS

I can hardly describe #Senegal in one post. I am currently writing an article about it (in French, sorry for the ones who just need to be born in an english-speaking country to understand the world). I took this shot on the commercial port of Saint Louis. 30 seconds before I snapped it, an old lady (at least 70 years old) was yelling at me, agressively, because she was upset that an apparently white and wealthy boy was collecting memories out of her everyday pain. Maybe was she also upset that I could make money through it. She was right, on almost every point. And I understand her, I would have done the same thing. But still I was there, lost in between two culture, just to bring back a part of the truth of the world we are living in. And as all is relative, the same evening, I've met a very smily sheperd who asked me about my day. When I said that I spent my day exploring Saint-Louis and mostly the port, without mentioning such episode, he told me: " Damn! You might have had such bad times with the fishermen community there. Saint-Louis is a beautiful town but people there are special. You might think they are miserable according to their way of life but... they are among the richest people in the country. A bit miseducated maybe... Please don't mind about them, you are welcome." The end. 🇸🇳 NB: That pic is not related to this comment except that this lady wearing her beautiful outfit passed by me in the middle of the market while the old lady was grabbing my sleeves, certainly asking me to put down my camera. #storytelling http://ift.tt/2vjBKQt

I love to randomly meet people on the road. That day we were driving from Yosemite to Oregon coast, trying to catch the sunset on Samuel Boardman state park. When the sun was setting, we actually were two hours away from our goal. We've spent some time stuck in the snow because I randomly choose to take a gravel road, then we came across a kind of antiques shop and we bought a bunch of spoons of collection. We will never see the famous spots in Samuel Boardman but... who cares? Instead of that, we stopped to the first free space aside of the road when the light turned to gold. We were about to follow our route when I noticed this huge campervan with three sympathetic guys and a dog next to it. From the window, that was a nice picture. But I was not expecting them to see me when I heard "Go ahead, here you can see genuine hippies!" My first feeling was to feel bad, like if I did something wrong by trying to take a picture of them. Like if they had considered being the subject of mockery or of a weird curiosity. Like if I was in a Zoo, standing far away for the attractive unknown. That has been the very first time I've ever felt bad trying to steal a moment. We jumped out of the car to talk with them, I wanted them to understand that they had made a mistake about my intentions. I was not trying to catch from far the coolness of the aesthetic that this way of life is conveying. I was just in "a rush" to reach a goal I had set in my mind. But... what if these guys were actually the goal of my destiny that day? Here is a portrait. 🙏🏻 Ps: Dude, if you recognize yourself please let me know! I've lost your name on my notes. http://ift.tt/2wkbNP4
