how did you find out about Roaki? (Road X Loki)
*leans back in chair and puts fins together* It all started back when a certain Sun God nerd dropped in the manga. I was curious, looked up some art, and for once the Twitter algorithm did me a solid I started seeing a couple users pop up over and over again so I dropped some follows to keep getting that Road content. Eventually the Loki reveal hit and I was like "damn, this dude has *lore*, I can't wait"
BUT THEN
I saw a post, a post about the nerdy navigator and the accursed prince being shipped together, and I was like "damn, these two together actually kind of slap"
*looks in Fizz's general direction*
Shout out to the legend for getting my muse going after all this time. God I have so many fucking wips to finish

I need more FNAF one shots, I'm new to reading fiction and your writing style is very pleasing to me. I need more found family content
I'm glad to hear you like my writing style! :D
I currently have two more ideas that connect to the found family trope but I'm honestly not sure as to when I'll finish writing them.

A Hat in Time Fanfic: Re(Hat)bilitation Chapter 1
I HAVE MANAGED TO SUCCESSFULY REGAIN THE A HAT IN TIME MUSE!! I HAVE BECOME ALL POWERFUL!!
Otherwise known as I looked at the Vanessa's Curse DLC and finally got an idea for what to write for it even if I haven't played the DLC yet.
This fic is going to be rather short, just three chapters, so I expect to finish writing it pretty quickly tbh.
Word count: 1603
Summary: Snatcher had expected Hat Kid to royally kick Vanessa’s ass and get him some crowns. What he had not expected, what for the kid to come back with a feral, corrupted version of herself. The things he did for that brat…
There had been many instances during Snatcher’s brief, yet intense, friendship with Hat Kid that he thought he had her all figured out. He thought he had figured out what brand of crazy and chaotic she could be, what mad schemes to expect from her. The wild plans, insane pranks, and her all around spontaneous nature.
And yet, there were times where she managed to surprise him.
Crashing a ship into an iceberg? Only slightly surprising.
Taking on Empress and her crime syndicate in the name of retrieving her Time Pieces? Very surprising.
Dragging the tied up, corrupted form of an alternate version of herself after stealing a bunch of crowns from Vanessa?
Mind boggling, and he still had no idea what she wanted him to do.
“Kid,” Snatcher began, crossing his arms and glaring down at the smug looking alien. “What the hell is that?”
“A smoothie.” Hat Kid cheerfully replied, the joke managing to get a laugh out of Bow Kid while the restrained, feral counterpart made their displeasure known. They hissed and spat on the floor, struggling to break free.
The shadow groaned and his face in his talons. “Kid, I’m being serious here. You dragged in an alternate version of yourself that’s been clearly corrupted by… her, for a reason.”
“Oh! Well that’s cause I want you to fix them-”
“WHAT?!” Snatcher roared, now looming over the duo as he glared down at them. The fluff that surrounded his neck bristled in rage as his magic flared out around him.
Needless to say, he was pissed.
“I gave you one job, to get crowns, not bring back baggage for me to deal with! I’ve got enough of that to begin with! I don’t need any more!”
“But Snatcher,” Hat Kid whined, looking up at him with wide, pleading eyes. “They’re me, and they did nothing wrong!”
“You didn’t see how hurt they were, either!” Bow Kid added, crossing her arms and looking over at the screeching shadow child in worry. “Whatever Vanessa did to them was bad, and you’re the only person we can get help from, Snatcher!”
“I’m not-”
“Pleeeeeeease!” Both of the children shouted as they rushed forward and grabbed onto the shadow’s tail, clinging to him as they continued pleading over and over again.
“You gotta help us!”
“They didn’t deserve what Vanessa did to them! And what if they’re still hurting?!”
“Not my problem!” He growled as he tried to shove them both away. Unfortunately, they just clung all the tighter to him, squeezing the life out of his tail. “Now let go, drag that brat out with you, and get back to work!”
“Never!”
“Wait!” Bow Kid cried. “What if we give you something in return?”
Well, that caught Snatcher’s attention.
He stopped moving, and this seemed to be the signal the children had been waiting for as they both let go. Hat Kid was quick to give her friend a high five in thanks for her quick thinking, before she addressed the shadow once more.
“Bow’s right!” She agreed before pointing dramatically at him.
Must have picked that up from the birds or something…
“Name your price!”
The sudden, ominous feeling of a mistake being made filled both Hat Kid and Bow Kid as they watched a smirk crawl across Snatcher’s face. He definitely had something planned-
And what he asked for only proved their suspicions to be true.
“You could give me one of your Time Pieces-HEY!”
The shadow’s smug suggestion was cut off when Bow Kid chucked her umbrella at his head. He instinctively dodged it, more than familiar with how much of a pain being hit by that damn thing was, and frowned at her. Of course, Hat Kid was quick to step in front of her, blocking her from Snatcher’s sight, and she planted her hands on her hips.
“Don’t make me kick your butt, again.”
It was a decent threat, one that made him internally shudder as he recalled their prior fights. Time Pieces were definitely off the table, then, but there was nothing else the kiddos could offer him in exchange.
He was long past wanting either of their souls, not wanting to give them a reason to stick around and keep bothering him. He cared not for any of their alien technology, nor did he want Pons. At most they could keep giving him crowns, but they had already worked out a deal for those items.
Fortunately enough, it was Bow Kid who came with an idea as to what to offer. She poked Hat Kid’s shoulder and, after getting her attention, whispered something in her ear.
A sense of dread filled Snatcher as he watched Hat Kid smirk in a way that perfectly mirrored how he had looked only moments ago. That was always a bad look to see on her, the sign that she was scheming some horrible plan. It was enough to make him start to float away, although her words were quick to draw him back in.
“You’ll probably make Vanessa really maaaad~”
Dammit.
“Okay, fine!” He relented, throwing his arms up in the air. “You win! Keep collecting crowns and I’ll try and fix this mess.”
The two aliens both started cheering, clapping their hands together and jumping in place. Their excitement was sickening…
But, it was nowhere near as disgusting as what Vanessa had done to that kid.
The shadow frowned and turned his attention from the celebrating duo to the writhing figure still on the ground. The kid was absolutely caked in Vanessa’s foul magic. It permeated every fiber of their being, saturated their soul and left them a reeking mess of anger, confusion, and destruction.
Nothing was untouched.
It was… bad, and he honestly had no idea if he could fix them.
Snatcher didn’t have a heart, he was a lawyer after all and proud of it, but he still felt for the kid who had been dragged into this mess. Vanessa had always had a habit of going around and ruining lives for her own enjoyment, and it enraged him to no end that this was still going on.
Ugh, the last thing he wanted was to have such a visceral reminder of her nearby, but at this point he didn’t have any choice.
Still ignoring the duo, the shadow reached over and snagged the ropes that were keeping the corrupted child restrained. Their thrashing grew fiercer, but ultimately did nothing to deter him. Holding them up and at a distance so he could easily observe them, he took in all the work he would need to do.
If he could fix them, that is.
Any hope or optimism he had about the situation was fading fast, but he would still try.
“You two better not cause any trouble in my forest, either.” Snatcher called out. His voice had an unusually serious tone to it, something that caused the two children to turn around and look at him in worry.
He was still frowning as well, another bad sign.
“I’ll need all of my focus if you want your plan to work, so that means no messing with my minions, and no running around.”
“We won’t.” Bow Kid promised while Hat Kid nodded along beside her. “And just let me know if Hattie starts causing any trouble, I’ll take care of her for you.”
“... Hey!”
Banter broke out between the friends, and the sight of it was enough to get Snatcher smiling again. He watched them argue and bicker for a couple more minutes before finally shooing them away.
“Thanks again, bestie!” Hat Kid shouted as she summoned her scooter and hopped on it. Bow Kid was quick to join her, but not before turning around and giving the shadow her own thanks.
“You’re the best, Snatcher, and good luck!”
“Yeah, yeah.” He waved the pair off, not bothering to watch them leave as he kept his gaze on his newest project. The corrupted kid, who definitely needed a name at some point, hissed at him.
“Ooooooo, so scaaaaary.” He drawled, sarcasm dripping from his words. “Time to get this show on the road.”
Still holding the corrupted kiddo, he dove into the shadows, intent on getting this over and done with as soon as possible. Moments later, he found himself in a familiar place, acid bubbling below him while cages hung from the ceiling. A vast collection of books and other such magical materials surrounded him, and he grinned.
His favourite place of study, free of any and all possessed outhouses.
One of the cages above him began thrashing as its occupant finally realized where they were and that the ropes were gone. They grabbed onto the bars, spitting and shrieking at him.
As if summoned by the chaos, a couple of his minions popped up from the darkness, peering at the cage.
“Got something new to work on, Boss?” One of them asked, glowing eye narrowing as the shouts and hisses continued to fill the air.
“Something like that.” Snatcher shrugged. “And I don’t want to see any of you hanging around here, especially when I’m working. Got it?”
“Of course!” The same Subconite agreed with a nod while another one spoke up.
“Want us to pass the message around, Boss?”
“Sure, and keep the Dwellers away from here too.” He instructed while floating out of the acid pit and towards some of his books. “Get going! I’ve got stuff to do.”
His minions vanished immediately, leaving him alone once more.
Snatcher sighed and opened the first of what he knew was going to be many books about curses, hexes, and possessions.
“Alright, let's get to work…”
                                       xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
It feels nice getting back to the roots of my writing career, if you could call it that, and it’s nice to participate in my favourite trope of shoving Snatcher into found family situations XD

Security Breach Oneshot: Gregory Kneecaps Moon
An alternate title to this might be "Gregory Kneecaps Moon and Has a Mental Breakdown" XD
I've always been a fan of feral children going absolutely apeshit and Security Breach has only given me more inspiration. I'd also like to apologize to all fans of Moon for that lowkey brutalization of him, but the child was destined to snap at some point. Anyways, onto the oneshot!
Word count: 2233
Summary: It was at this moment that Gregory finally chose violence.
Gregory was terrified.
It wasn’t the same fear that he felt while running through the Mega Pizzaplex. That steady, fast pace beating of his heart which left his palms sweaty whenever he heard a loud noise nearby. The fear for his life that slowly dulled as time went on yet remained a constant in the back of his mind. That fear he was familiar with after all his time spent on the streets, sleeping in cardboard boxes and scrounging whatever scraps of food he could find.
No, the terror Gregory felt as he watched Freddy slam into the ground while that creepy moon guy loomed behind him was something else entirely. It was like his shoes were glued to the ground, stuck watching as Freddy stared blankly up at the ceiling, sparks occasionally shooting out of his head while those too dull eyes looked at nothing. His mouth felt dry and his hands were shaking. He didn’t know what to do, what should he do-
And then that bastard, that moon bitch had the audacity to wave at him.
Like a switch was flipped inside him, the terror that had previously filled his mind immediately turned into sheer, blinding rage.
It was one thing if Gregory was attacked, he was honestly used to having to duck, run, or fight, but for someone as sweet, compassionate, and caring as Freddy to get hurt? For someone he had grown to care about becoming hurt while protecting him?
Someone was going to die tonight, and it wouldn’t be him or Freddy.
All of Moon’s attention was focused on trying to drag the much larger animatronic over to Parts and Service, and as such he was completely oblivious to the sounds of the recharge station door sliding open and the faint scratching of something metallic being picked up off the ground until it was too late.
The sudden, enraged screaming was the only warning Moon got, glowing red eyes looking up just in time to spot the child racing towards him. A rusted pipe was clutched in Gregory’s hands, grip tight enough to make them ache, as the first of many tears started to fall.
Every scrap of knowledge he had on fighting, watching the older kids and adults duke it out over items and food, flowed into his mind. He had seen what he needed to do before, and knew the exact effect it would have.
Moon might not have been a human, but he still had knees.
CRACK!
Before the animatronic could even reach out to the boy and try to wrestle the pipe away from him, he swung. The blow landed and Gregory watched at the joint bent backwards, feeling an immense amount of satisfaction as Moon crumpled to the ground.
And yet, even with his enemy cowering before him, Gregory was far from done.
“DON’T!”
BANG!
“YOU!”
SNAP!
“TOUCH!”
CRUNCH!
“HIM!”
Each shout was punctuated with yet another swing of the pipe, Gregory aiming at every weak point he could think of to both keep the animatronic down and cause him as much pain as possible. An arm broke under the blows, plastic casing splintering and exposing more of that vulnerable endoskeleton.
He only stopped swinging when those glowing eyes dimmed, backing up as Moon fully dropped to the floor, going still.
Gregory panted as he stared down at the deactivated animatronic, eyes flickering between the cracked face and the pipe in his hands. He was once again filled with the urge to lash out, to feel that plastic shell fully break under the force of his rage, but the sound of a static-laced groan quelled his anger.
For now.
The pipe was tossed to the side, promptly forgotten about as the young boy rushed back to his guardian. He dropped to his knees, ignoring the stinging pain of the harsh concrete scraping them as he focused on Freddy. He reached his hands out, wanting nothing more than to see if Freddy was okay, but he hesitated.
What if he did something wrong? What if he hurt Freddy by accident? What if-
“Gregory…”
The static laced voice was enough to snap him out of his spiral, as well as the heavy, metallic paw that gently landed on the top of his head. Gregory froze, tears trailing down his face as he struggled to get his emotions back under control. Slowly he looked up, his watery eyes meeting those of the animatronic.
He opened his mouth to say something, anything, but before he could form the words he heard the groaning of metal. Joints creaked as Freddy set both his paws on the ground and slowly pushed himself upright. Sparks shot out of his neck, and Gregory swore he could see smoke seeping out of some of the seams.
His fingers felt numb, his heart was racing, and it felt like he was seeing things from a mile away, but that didn’t stop him from trying to help the animatronic. Carefully relying on Gregory for some support, Freddy maneuvered his way over to the closest wall and started standing up.
It took some time, quite a bit of effort, and the occasional pause to make sure the animatronic’s spasms didn’t cause him to fall over, but eventually Freddy was upright as he leaned heavily against the wall. He almost sounded like he was panting, fans gusting under the strain his systems were enduring.
And yet, he still took a step forward. Then another, and another.
“We must… go… not safe… here.”
Each static laced word brought agony to Gregory’s ears, not just because the sounds were painful, but also because of the implication of how hard Freddy was pushing himself to get both himself and his charge away from the, thankfully, still unconscious Moon.
Gregory, of course, was not a fan of this and wanted nothing more than for the animatronic to rest and get fixed. So, after a moment of being left behind, the young boy moved to join the animatronic, dry lips parting in worry as he spoke.
“H-Hey, what’re you-”
Without warning, Freddy dropped to the ground.
Back scraping against the concrete walls and producing an ear splitting sound, his eyes went dim once more as his legs crumpled under him. He was still leaning on the wall, somehow, but it looked like he wouldn’t be moving anytime soon.
It almost looked like he was… like he was-
The young boy shot forward, racing to his guardian’s side. He tripped, stumbled, and nearly fell as he reached out to grab the animatronic’s shoulders. Forgoing his previous worries about accidentally hurting him, Gregory did his best to shake him awake.
“Freddy?!”
There was no response to his plea, and he could feel his breathing start to quicken as panic took over.
He wasn’t waking up, he wasn’t waking up-
“FREDDY-”
Without warning he was pulled towards Freddy’s chest, tugged into a hug. He couldn’t stop the surprised shout from escaping him, and the animatronic mumbled a faint apology before resting a hand atop his head, just as he had done before. With more care than Gregory could ever remember experiencing in his life, Freddy ruffled his hair.
“I should be… protecting you. Not the other way around. ” The animatronic sighed as his glowing eyes landed on the distressed boy in his arms. It seemed as though the static was gone for now thanks to Freddy no longer forcing himself to move.
Hopefully it would stay that way.
“That’s okay! I’m used to that kind of stuff!” Gregory objected while vigorously shaking his head. “I can handle it-”
“But you shouldn’t have to.”
Those words spoken with such conviction, the statement that Freddy had made, left the young boy speechless. Having to be independent, having to stand up for himself, these were things that Gregory had assumed were just a part of life. That he would always have to do things on his own, that he wouldn’t get help.
His parents had always told him to take care of himself, from making his own food to getting dressed and cleaning himself up.
His supposed guardians had always scolded him when he got pushed around and bullied, telling him that wouldn’t get involved and it was his responsibility.
His teachers, the few times he had really attended class and paid attention to them, always told him to be nice and make friends, that he needed to be more mature and forgiving.
No one had ever truly been there for him, everyone had just brushed him aside and treated him like a burden. Like he had already failed at life.
But, Freddy…
The choked sob that burst out of Gregory was only the first of many as he finally broke down. All the stress he had felt throughout the night, his constant fleeing for his life, the insults and threats directed his way from the other animatronics-
The terror he had felt when he almost lost Freddy.
It was too much.
Openly bawling now, Gregory hid his face in Freddy’s chest as he cried. A noise of concern left the animatronic as he did his best to hold the child, his child, as best he could and provide the comfort he had lacked for so long.
Freddy was optimistic, but he was nowhere near as naïve as most assumed he was. He had seen the signs and recognized the implications. From the somewhat dirty, torn clothes, to Gregory’s underdeveloped frame and how distrustful he had been of everyone, even Freddy, the signs were clear. Alarms and warnings danced across his vision, the demand that he report signs of abuse and neglect to the nearest Pizzaplex employee.
It only made him want to protect the boy more.
So, he held Gregory close and did his best to rock him back and forth, humming a lullaby. Some of these things were instinctual, he had been programmed to protect and help children, but others he had picked up throughout the night.
Learning and listening, seeing how the young boy reacted to gestures and words. How Gregory always preferred to be the one initiating a hug rather than being pulled into it, the cringing and immediate attempts to escape. How he liked to be called superstar rather than dear as Chica occasionally did as she hunted the boy down.
He cared for Gregory not because he had been designed to, but because he wanted to.
It was why he had pushed Gregory to run ahead of himself as Moon climbed up the elevator platform and closed in on them. Why he had been so willing to sacrifice himself and get dragged off somewhere if it meant that Gregory would be safe.
Of course, Freddy had never expected the young boy to snap, flee the safety of the charging station and fight on his behalf.
His so very, very brave superstar.
The duo stayed like this for some time, Gregory taking in all the comfort and reassurance he could while Freddy reminisced over everything that had happened so far. After his tears had long since dried, making his face feel weirdly scratchy, the young boy finally backed up. He took a deep breath in, let it out, and looked up at his guardian.
He had been thinking while he had been crying, ever the multitasker, and he hoped Freddy was at least willing to consider his idea.
Please… please…
“How… how about instead of you just protecting me, or me protecting you, we protect each other?” Gregory suggested, watching as those faintly glowing eyes met his own.
It was always hard to read his expressions, but he swore that Freddy’s eyes somehow widened in surprise. Surprise that soon faded and turned into something else, something that he couldn’t identify. Panicking a bit, Gregory backed up and started shaking his head.
“If you don’t want to, that’s okay-”
“I would be honored,” Freddy began, reaching out gently brushing away the hair that fell into Gregory’s face. “To have someone as strong as you protecting me, superstar.”
That was almost enough to make the young boy start crying again. He scrubbed at his face to chase away the tears before they showed, and smiled at his guardian. No words were exchanged, Gregory’s expression of joy and gratefulness being enough.
But they could stay like this for long. Freddy still needed to be repaired, Moon might reactivate at any moment, and time was ticking away.
So, with great reluctance, the duo got ready to move.
“Parts and Service is not too far away.” Freddy said as he slowly started to stand up once again, still using the wall as a source of support. “I can be repaired there, although I might need your help. However, you will need to be careful as I might not… act like my normal self. Follow the instructions closely, please.”
“I will, don’t worry.” The young boy reassured the animatronic. However, as all fell silent between them, he couldn’t stop himself from impulsively holding a hand out for Freddy to take.
Embarrassing.
Any sense of embarrassment vanished the second Freddy reached out and completed the gesture, carefully taking hold of his charge’s hand. Confidence and comfort filled him, as did a sense of peace.
Freddy was here, he was alright, and once they got to Parts and Service all would turn out fine.
Now hand in hand with his guardian, Gregory smiled.
“Let’s go!”
                                        xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Mmm, yes, ending off with some found family goodness. Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed reading!

Centaurworld Oneshot: Number One Fan
I have fallen in love with Centaurworld and while the birdtaur-centric episode wasn't one of my favourites, it did give me the inspiration for this oneshot. Also you cannot convince me that Ched wouldn't attempt to at least get some shipping merch of himself and Zulius based on all the jokes centered around them this season XD
Word count: 1279
Summary: In the face of the scrutinization and downright mockery from the birdtaurs, Wammawink’s number one fan takes a stand.
As the birdtaur’s song faded, the last notes growing quiet, it became abundantly clear to Horse that Wammawink was… upset.
She was angry for sure, steam practically radiating off of her as she screamed in aggravation. Her eyes twitched like crazy, and her fists were clenched tight enough to make her veins pop out. She looked furious, but there was something else about her expression that made Horse pause, even when Mouthpiece tried to get her attention.
It was the sorrowful look in her eyes that made Horse stop. It was a look she had only seen a couple times on their journey, a sort of vulnerability that she rarely expressed unless she felt it was absolutely necessary. She was hurt by the rejection of the birdtaurs, hurt by the thought that so many centaurs either disliked her or outright hated her.
And yet she masked this sorrow with anger, even as the birdtaurs continued to joke about her. How awful she was, and how much she sucked-
How dare they.
How dare they judge her when they had no idea what she had been through, when they knew nothing about how much she had changed and grown. How dare they act like she was just a nuisance when she was so much more than that.
Wammawink was the glue that held them together, the one who was always willing to step up and protect her herd no matter what. She was the one who had pulled Horse back from the edge when all hope had been lost.
She had taught Horse how to love herself when she didn’t know who she was anymore, and that everything would be okay.
Aggravation drove her actions as she stomped a hoof into the ground, startling Mouthpiece. Horse ignored his questions and the concerned looks being thrown her way, the curious and conspiring whispers about the main character acting in such a way.
Horse was popular, well known and well liked.
Time to put that popularity to good use.
“You’re all wrong!” Horse shouted as she strode over the Wammawink, sending the stunned alpaca centaur a warm smile. “Wammawink does have a fan!”
She leaned against Wammawink and felt that warm, pink wool brush against her flank and neck. One of the centaur’s arms wrapped around her shoulders, giving her a hug. A sign of gratefulness and support.
… And perhaps it was also a metaphorical middle finger to the birdtaurs.
It was a sense of love and confidence that encouraged her to speak. She shouted her declaration to the heavens, making sure everyone heard her. “And that’s me! I’m her number one fan!”
“Horse!” Wammawink squealed as she hugged her a bit tighter. “You’re such a sweetheart. You didn’t have to say that-”
Oh that was an absolute lie. Not only did Horse want to stand up for Wammawink, it was also pretty amusing to watch her chest puff up in pride as her eyes sparkled with glee the moment she processed what Horse had said.
Plus bothering the centaurs that had… creepily watched her and everyone else throughout their journey was an unintended bonus.
Quiet, uncertain murmurs broke out among the crowd as the collection of centaurs struggled with what to do with such a revelation. It was earth shattering, threatening to shake the foundations of the fandom. Already groups were beginning to break apart, opinions dividing life long friends and family.
However, it was one hushed, yet excited statement that truly caused pandemonium to break out.
“Oh my gosh!!! It’s a rarepair!!”
The crowd revolted, screams and shouts of rage breaking out intermixed with papers flying in the air. Frantic sketches of Horse and Wammawink were flung too and fro, heated arguments about shipping dynamics filled the air, and even a couple birdtaurs outright fainted.
“Wow.” Horse blinked. “I don’t know what I was expecting, but it definitely wasn’t… that.”
“Fandom drama can get very intense.” Zulius said while casually sliding into the conversation. He snatched a piece of paper out of the air and winced at its contents. “Especially over shipping.”
“The last time I saw something this crazy was when Wammawink freaked out over some story about merdudes.” Glendale added as she snatched all sorts of papers out of the air and hid them away. “She cried into that pillow-”
“Okay! Let’s not bring that up again!” Wammawink interrupted while frantically trying to cover Glendale’s mouth. As the pair struggled and flailed, much to Zulius and Horse’s amusement, Durpleton was focused on something else.
Specifically, his sweet baby boy.
“Stabbleton,” He scolded as he watched the lizard minotaur catch one of the papers and look it over, revealing a rough sketch of Wammawink and Horse hugging. “We always pay content creators for their hard work, we don’t just take it.”
“Yeah, unless there’s a mouse involved.” Ched scoffed as he grabbed his own bundle of papers and flicked through them. His eyes widened at the content, jaw dropping in shock.
This… this was…
“Alright, let’s just… give them time to calm down and then we can talk to them about the war.” Horse suggested, stepping back as a pair of brawling birdtaurs rolled in front of her. “But if they can fight like this, then they’ll be perfect!”
“It’s hard to believe we found the ultimate weapon, telling them that the Nowhere King ships Wammawink and Horse.” Zulius snickered before cackling loudly at the shouts of outrage at his joke.
“There! See! It’s perfect!”
“Weeeeeell, weaponizing fanbases and turning them against one another is fun and all, but…” Wammawink paused and turned to look at Horse. “Did you… actually mean that? Or were you just-”
“Of course I was serious!” Horse quickly replied, whirling around to fix the alpaca centaur with an intense stare. “You stood up against the Nowhere King! And… and you’ve helped me so much with just being here and getting used to Centaur World.”
Although I doubt I’ll ever be completely used to this place…
“So, yes! I’m your fan! Your number one fan, because you’re awesome.”
There were no words to describe the sounds Wammawink made, a mixture of some sort of squeal with a flustered noise perhaps being the closest, but she was quick to pull Horse in for a hug.
“You’re the best, baby girl!”
“It might be a good idea to get going.” Durpleton called out as he pressed his hands over the sides of Stabby’s head. “Some of these arguments are getting really not okay for growing little boys!”
Horse was silent for a moment, allowing her to better hear what all the shouting was about, and she couldn’t help but shudder at some of the bits she caught. “Yeah, that’d be a good idea. I can give my big speech after all the fighting calms down.”
“If it ever does~” Zulius quipped while prancing through the horde of birdtaurs.
The rest of the herd was quick to follow him, each one doing their best to dodge groups that were fighting and duck under thrown objects. Glendale took the chance to grab a couple more items out of the air, gleefully giggling as she snagged as much free merchandise as she should. Soon enough, everyone was free of the moshpit that had formed.
Everyone except Ched, that is.
“Okay, yeah. I’ll… catch up soon.” Ched mumbled, no one around hearing him as he continued to read over the bits of story he had snagged. Everything was so fragmented and disjointed, but it was good. “Just gotta… find whoever made this and yell at them…”
He glanced off to the side, face angry yet flushed. “... For not making more.”
                                         xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I still have a couple ideas I wanna write oneshots for, so you might see me popping up again here and there, but I hope you all enjoyed!

Between the Walls, Interlude: Ranboo
I'VE DONE IT! HERE IT IS!
Finally, after all these years, the next chapter! One full of introspection, clues for future plot points, and hopefully something that'll give y'all a rough idea of how different this is gonna be from the canon timeline.

Summary: We get a look at L’Manberg through the eyes of Ranboo, as well as an interesting interaction he has with a certain borrower...
Yesterday I saw a tiny person.
Ranboo frowned as he read over the simple sentence that had been jotted down in his journal. His memory made it difficult to keep track of everything that he saw and experienced, so he made sure to stay in the habit of always writing down whatever happened around him. Usually, it was something simple, like who he talked to or if a fight had broken out, but while the sentence was simple, the meaning behind it was a bit more complicated.
Had he seen someone who was just much shorter than him and quickly written it down? Practically everyone was shorter than him, but he would never call them tiny. Had he hallucinated and thought he saw a tiny person? If that were the case...
Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately for Ranboo, that was not the only note he had about the supposed tiny being.
I tried to say hi to them, and they started yelling at me before hiding somewhere. They’re loud, really loud.
I got a headache from the shouting.
:(
Funnily enough, every entry that mentioned the tiny, shouty person also coincided with the days where Techno would… “visit” L’Manberg. If one could call infiltrating the country that hates you in order to commit minor acts of terrorism and steal some loot a visit. The sight of a horde of people chasing after an invisible person before turning around and fleeing for their lives once the netherite armor became visible was an increasingly common one.
L’Manberg was… nice, even with all the chaos.
Quackity was a surprisingly competent president. Under his eccentric, rowdy behavior, he could be quite calm and level headed, unless Technoblade was mentioned around him. Ranboo didn’t know much about the duo, but they seemed to have a lot of bad blood between them, preceding the explosions that had rocked the country before he arrived. It was like he had some score to settle, despite how apathetic Techno tended to act in his presence. Honestly, Ranboo thought the whole thing reeked of an unhealthy degree of internalized anger, but he’d never say such a thing aloud. Fortunately, Quackity’s fiances, Sapnap and Karl, were there to help reign him in if he got too destructive.
Self-destructive, specifically. The man threw himself into his work with a promise, a vow, to do better than his predecessor, and he definitely had. L’Manberg was prospering, and peace had replaced the war that had consumed the country, even if there was some lingering tension.
His vice president, a fox hybrid named Fundy, also helped quite a bit in keeping things running. Acting as the primary source of communication with other members of the SMP, those close to Eret specifically, when he wasn’t being tormented by HBomb he was checking in on everyone, asking if they were doing alright or if they needed any help.
Support was one of the key principles Quackity had enforced. The support of not just the country, but the individuals who lived there. Most of the citizens of L’Manberg already knew what it was like to have a leader who didn’t care about them, who did what he wanted with the power he had been given, and no one wanted a repeat of that. It was also the main reason why Quackity’s election had been uncontested. The winged hybrid knew exactly what to say and how to say it.
… Not that it was a bad thing, of course. When he wasn’t serenading Karl or joking around with Sapnap, he was deftly dealing with any hurdle that popped up in his political path. His proficiency could be concerning, if he acted anything like Schlatt.
Granted, Ranboo didn’t know what Schlatt had acted like, but he was pretty sure there would be a rebellion if anything like that happened again.
Quietly, he sighed and shook his head. It was a bit unfortunate how late he had arrived compared to the others, how little he knew, but it was also a relief to know he had missed so much strife and pain. A tentative peace was better than nothing, after all.
Even if there were still threats looming on the horizon…
“Ranboo, you okay?”
He jolted at the sudden voice, one full of warmth and worry, and looked up. Heterochromic eyes landed on a familiar, blonde haired woman. Black bangs framed her face and her smile was one full of concern.
“Uh, h-hey Niki!” Ranboo greeted as an awkward smile crossed his face. “Didn’t hear you walking up to me…”
“It looked like you were pretty lost in thought.” The young woman said, taking a step closer and frowning. “Did something happen?”
With the distance between them having shrunk, he could easily see the dark bags under her eyes and the stressed furrow of her brow. Worrying seemed to be all she was doing these days. Worrying about L’Manberg, worrying about the people who lived there, but…
Never worrying about herself.
She was compassionate to an almost worrying degree and fiercely protective of those that she cared about, doing everything in her power to help. She was the glue that held everyone together, even though she had sworn off all involvement with the overseeing of L’Manberg.
Ranboo didn’t know much about her friendship with Wilbur, but apparently they had been pretty close and his death had hit her hard. He had arrived after she started recovering, but he was aware of the haunted look in her eyes. How she would occasionally pause, face going slack as memories rolled over her and eyes gaining a glassy sheen.
It worried everyone, but she always brushed their concerns aside and claimed that she was fine when the opposite was clearly true. He knew it wasn’t his place to say such things, but to him it was obvious she was still struggling to cope with both her grief and trying to move on. That she would rather drown her emotions in hard work rather than address them.
An unfortunate trait she seemed to share with Quackity…
At least she had Puffy looking after her. The sheep hybrid could often be found alongside Niki, sharing soft conversations and warm laughter. She was one of the few people who seemed to be invested in making sure everyone was okay, even if she did pull the occasional prank or act of arson, a trait most citizens of L’Manberg seemed to share. She had even opened up a therapy, or therapuffy, office for people to discuss their feelings, anything they were struggling with, or just if they needed some support.
It’d probably be a good idea if he went and visited there at some point, between his memory problems and his blackouts-
“Ranboo?”
“I’m sorry, I keep zoning out!” He yelped, jumping once more as his tail swayed behind him. He knit his hands together and sent Niki a smile that was more of a grimace. “And yelling. Sorry. I’m just… thinking about something I might have seen.”
“Might have seen?” She repeated, her concerned frown growing as his anxiety got worse. “Was it Dream? Do you want me to tell Quackity? Or Eret?”
“No! No, it’s not anything bad! I promise!”
“Well, as long as you’re sure. “ Niki relented. She took a couple moments to think of a solution to his problem and managed to come up with a suggestion. ”Maybe you could try retracting your steps? Repeat the day and see if you find… whatever it is you saw.”
“That… is a fantastic idea! I can’t believe I didn’t think of that!”
“To be fair, you were pretty distracted.” She chuckled. “I tend to forget things too when I focus too hard. Sometimes it’s best to just take a step back and breathe if you can.”
Ranboo hummed in agreement as he took out his journal to jot down her advice, not wanting to risk forgetting something that would likely be helpful in the future. He underlined the word breathe as well, painfully flashing back to some of his more… stressed out moments.
Hyperventilating was never fun, especially when mixed with panic attacks.
“I’m just gonna… go get started on that.” He mumbled, quickly putting his journal away before sending the woman a smile. “Thanks for the help, really.”
“You're welcome, and take care!” Niki called out, waving to him as she walked away. The enderman hybrid returned the gesture with one of his own, tail swaying happily, before setting out and following her advice.
And so, Ranboo walked through L’Manberg, flicking through his journal while retracing his steps to the best of his ability. He crossed the patchy, wooden roads, passed by the various stores and other structures, including the collection of houses that had been built above a water filled crater.
A remnant of the fighting that had occurred before his arrival.
Funnily enough, according to his journal this was where he had also spotted Technoblade the last time he snuck in. He had been vandalizing posters, switching them out with art of himself other people had made and just… being a nuisance to L’Manberg.
A nuisance that could easily slaughter most of the people who lived here, but a nuisance nonetheless.
However, the typically well populated area, with all of its houses, booths, and fishing spots, was strangely vacant. It looked like no one was in any of the homes. Perhaps everyone had decided to go out and gather resources?
It made sense, he had no idea what Techno had snagged during his latest “visit” but he wouldn’t be surprised if some diamonds or enchanting books had gone missing.
Well, either way this was the perfect opportunity for him to look around and see if he could find any information about the tiny person he had supposedly seen. He hadn’t really expected to find much of anything, what kind of evidence was he supposed to look for, anyways, but he did his best to remain hopeful as he scoured the area for… well, anything out of the ordinary.
During his third loop of the houses, his ears perked up as he heard the faint, near inaudible sounds of someone moving around, footsteps against wood. Now, either someone had shown up without him noticing, or someone had decided to sneak by using an invisibility potion.
The first option was quickly ruled out. This sound had just appeared and didn’t at all match any approaching footsteps he had ever heard. It was more like… muffled movement?
Strange...
His ears twitched, this time picking up the quiet sounds of someone cursing. Okay, so there was definitely someone trying to hide from him. He doubted it was Techno since the piglin hybrid had just snuck in, but that left him clueless as to who this mysterious person was.
Carefully, he did his best to track the noise to its source. Ears raising and lowering in response to every noise, tail slowly flicking back and forth behind him, a sign of his growing interest, he stalked the sound.
His searching led him down a set of stairs and into the sort of basement level below the houses, attached to the above layer by a series of wooden pillars. Much smaller structures littered this place, empty houses and the occasional fishing spot or storage area. He had heard rumours that Quackity would, in his spare time, host all sorts of gambling tournaments in this place, but Ranboo had never seen these events.
They were a secret that everyone knew, yet no one had ever seen those tournaments take place.
So, for now all seemed abandoned and quiet, aside from the sounds that continued to get the slightest bit louder. They were definitely somewhere around here, and Ranboo was intent on finding them.
Hoping whoever it was might hold the answers to his strange journal entries.
Fortunately enough, fate decided to grace him with the answers he desired. The sudden, strangely quiet sound of wood breaking caught his attention and he faced the nearest, empty house. He watched in awe as a tiny hole was cut out of the wall facing him, the small chunk falling to the ground and revealing who it was that he had been tracking.
It dawned on Ranboo as to why he had called the person tiny.
Because they were literally tiny!
Small enough to easily sit in the palm of his hand, the absolutely miniscule person seemed to be unaware of his presence at first, checking a bag and muttering something to themself. He could faintly make out their somewhat dirty blond hair and the strangely vibrant red shirt he wore.
Uncertain yet excited, Ranboo took a step forward. The wood underneath him creaked and everything went to hell.
The person yelped and stumbled, nearly falling off the ledge. On instinct and out of worry, the hybrid rushed forward and held a hand out in case they stumbled once more. This only seemed to offend them as they outright glared at him.
“En garde, fucker!” The tiny person spat, pointing what appeared to be a netherite needle towards him, the glow of an enchantment flowing from the hilt to its tip being enough to halt him in his tracks.
This… this was something.
He didn’t know what to be more surprised by, the fact that they had access to netherite of all materials or that they knew how to enchant it.
… Unless they had gotten it from someone else…
“That’s right, be scared, bitch!” They taunted, a smirk crossing their face. “I’ve got the high ground, you creepy eyed motherfucker!”
Okay, that stung.
Ranboo winced and stepped back. “Hey, I didn’t choose to have two different coloured eyes-”
“Not that!” They interjected with a scowl. “They’re so big, and wide! You look like a cat!”
Oh.
He was quick to blink and rub his eyes now that he was aware of their dilated state. It was something that tended to happen when he was focused on something, an aspect of his hybrid nature, he supposed. He’d already heard all sorts of jokes about his “big anime eyes”, but he never failed to be surprised when someone mentioned his pupils dilating.
“Is that better?” Ranboo asked as he lowered his hands and blinked some more. “I can’t really control it-”
“You’re fine, even if you’re anxious as fuck.” The tiny person interrupted once again while resting the needle on their shoulder. “Chill out, bruv. I’m not taking on the title of giant slayer just yet.”
Ranboo couldn’t stop the laugh that escaped him, nor could he stop his tail from flicking back and forth in amusement. The frown also being sent his way only made him snort and laugh harder. Once he got himself back under control, he grinned and spoke.
“Can I at least know who you are before I meet my… untimely end?”
“The name’s Tommy! Biggest man around.” The now named Tommy declared, completely oblivious to Ranboo’s attempt at teasing him. He puffed out his chest in pride as he pointed his needle at the hybrid. “Now who the fuck are you?”
Despite how rude Tommy seemed to be, there was no denying the faint smile that appeared on Ranboo’s face during the unorthodox introduction. Tommy was… interesting to say the least.
“I’m Ranboo. It’s nice to meet you.” He greeted, before bending down and holding out a finger for the much smaller person to shake. Tommy stared at the offered digit for a couple seconds, clearly suspicious, but ultimately reached out and carefully shook the clawed finger.
The gesture was enough to get his tail wagging once again, but the next thing Tommy said caused him to freeze.
“I bet you think you’re quite the ladies man, Ranboob.”
A strangled wheeze escaped him at both the statement and the joke. He backed up and started coughing in surprise while Tommy cackled at his reaction. It took a bit for him to get his coughing back under control, and longer still for Tommy to stop laughing.
“It’d probably be a good idea to stay quiet.” Ranboo suggested, both wanting to change the topic and wanting to keep his new potential friend safe. He had seemed distressed when he first saw Ranboo, so he probably didn’t want to be spotted by anyone. “I doubt you want anyone to find you…”
“Actually, how did you find me?” Tommy questioned. “I’m a great borrower! Got a great track record and shit, so you shouldn’t have found me.”
“Oh, um.” Ranboo’s ears twitched. “I saw you before and wrote it down in my journal. Then I, uh, was confused about what I wrote-”
“Fucking hell, I didn’t ask for your life story.”
“I’m getting there! So, I went back to where I first spotted you to see if I could find you again, and I did.” The enderman hybrid grinned and wiggled his ears. “You're pretty quiet, so I could barely hear you. It took me a while to track you down.”
His explanation might have satisfied Tommy’s curiosity, but it also left him feeling fairly annoyed. He huffed and stomped a foot on the ground while he grumbled and complained. “It’s unfair! All you giant bitches having such great hearing! First when I met Techno and now you-”
“Technoblade?” Ranboo interrupted, brows furrowed in confusion. “Wait, met him-”
“Yeah! Me and The Blade,” Tommy stuck his chest out with pride. “We’re best buds and he thinks I’m pretty cool. Calls me a big man, so you should too!”
“Erm, hold on-wait…” The enderman hybrid could feel his brain short circuiting as he struggled to process all this new information. So, apparently Techno had gotten himself a new… friend? Assistant? Partner?
He took a deep breath, recalling Niki’s earlier advice as he tried to calm himself back down. Take it step by step.
“So, you’re his friend?”
At the question, an odd look crossed Tommy’s face. He opened his mouth to respond, hesitated, and then closed it. After a couple seconds of that same, seemingly out of character silence, he ended up nodding.
Well that was an interesting reaction.
But, rather than press him about it, Ranboo decided to leave the topic alone and address another one.
“Sooooo,” He began, rocking back and forth in place. “Are you new to L’Manberg? I’m still pretty new myself, but if you want I can show you around-”
“Ranboo, have I ever mention how awesome you are? Cause that would be awesome.” Tommy rambled as he quickly nodded his head. “The Blade hasn’t let me wander around all that much, and I wanna see the sights!”
He grinned and pumped a fist up in the air. “Show me everything! I wanna see it all!”
“Alright!” Ranboo nodded, more than ready to show Tommy around and-
… Wait.
How am I supposed to do this? Do I just… pick him up and carry him?
I should probably check…
“So, um,” The hybrid knit his hands together and looked down at the borrower. “How do you want to do this?”
“C’mon, I know I’m a big, tough, scary man, but you don’t have to be so nervous.” Tommy joked as he sheathed his needle and crossed his arms. “I won’t bite if you pick me up.”
“I somehow doubt that” Ranboo mumbled to himself before addressing Tommy once more. “So I just… carry you?”
“Not in your hands.” The borrower scoffed. He then pointed at the hybrid’s crown. “How about up there? Gives me a nice vantage point!”
“Only if you promise to not rip out my hair or grab my ears.”
“Fine, I won’t.” Tommy rolled his eyes before eagerly rubbing his hands together. “Now lemme up there! I wanna be an even bigger man!”
That got a snort out of Ranboo and helped to break up the awkwardness he felt. He rolled his shoulders to loosen up, and then held out a hand for Tommy. The borrower smirked, looking oddly relaxed as he confidently strode into Ranboo’s clutches. He then looked up in expectation.
He’s a lot more comfortable about this than I am…
“Here we go…”
With that, the hybrid slowly lifted his hand up higher and higher. He was careful to not let his hand shake too much in case he accidentally knocked Tommy off, but there was no denying the faint tremble caused by his nerves. It felt like an eternity passed before the borrower finally jumped off, clutching the side of his crown and scampering upwards to the top of his head.
It was definitely a weird feeling, having someone climb up the side of his head, and he had to repress a shudder from the strange sensation. He both felt and heard Tommy getting comfortable and, once he was ready, the borrower stood up.
“This is poggers, Ranboo! You’re the biggest of men!” He shouted, with the compliment getting a smile out of Ranboo. Tommy then, in a move that would’ve given anyone a heart attack, leaned over the edge of the crown and nearly flopped into the hybrid’s face.
Ranboo couldn’t stop himself from jumping back and flailing his arms, the reaction making Tommy cackle madly. After calming his racing heart, the enderman hybrid huffed and playfully nudged the borrower.
“Yeah, yeah, laugh it up…”
He was still a bit concerned over how comfortable someone so small was with heights, and he had a feeling it was just going to be something he’d have to get used to.
If he saw Tommy again after today, of course.
“Onward, new friend!” Tommy declared after he pushed himself back upright. He held onto the edge of Ranboo’s crown and pointed towards the stairs that would take them back above ground and into the light.  “To adventure!”
“To adventure!” Ranboo cheered, unable to stop the massive smile that appeared on his face. His tail swished behind him, and the enderman hybrid realized that he had managed to make a new friend. His tail started swishing even faster as he thought about the positive turn the day had taken, and what he would write in his memory book.
Today, I made a new friend. He’s very small, yet loud.
His name is Tommy.
However, just as the duo were about to set out, the sounds of boots heavily hitting the ground rang out nearby, and the air rippled with the faint swirls that belonged to a certain potion, an indication that someone else was there.
Invisibility-
Before he even had a chance to react, the force of an unseen hand on his shoulder sent him backwards. Ranboo let out a pained grunt as he was slammed into the wall of one of the nearby wooden pillars, the structure creaking from the force of the impact. He felt Tommy pitch forward, tripping over the edge of his crown and falling forward, and he instinctively tried to reach for him. Just before he was able to catch the borrower, someone else did.
An unseen hand, not the one that was still on his shoulder, snagging the tiny kid in midair. The enderman hybrid caught sight of the look of fear on Tommy’s face and, as the only constant in the universe is its sense of comedic timing, the invisibility potion wore off at that exact moment and revealed who was now holding the borrower.
It was Technoblade.
And he looked furious.
Those signature red eyes seemed to be glowing even brighter than they had ever been before, from the few times Ranboo had seen the anarchist. The grip on his shoulder grew tighter, and his tail lashed about nervously as he tried to keep himself calm. Thankfully, his new friend was quick to intervene on his behalf.
“Blade! Relax!” Tommy shouted as he struggled to escape the hand holding him, catching both the hybrids’ attention in the process. “Don’t be a dick, Ranboob’s my friend!”
“It’s Ranboo.”
“C’mon, man, saying boo ain’t gonna scare Techno off.” Tommy retorted, missing how the teen facepalmed in exasperation.
Fortunately, the casual tone their interaction took on seemed to snap Technoblade out of his enraged state, and Ranboo watched as the piglin hybrid blinked a couple times before refocusing on him. Awkwardly, he smiled and waved.
“Hey there… Techno! You’re, uh, looking good! Must be that retirement from violence-”
“What’re you doing with Tommy?” The question cut through Ranboo’s attempt at a conversation, and served to make him all the more anxious.
“W-We were just going on a little tour of L’Manberg-”
“Since you were too much of a prick to show me around.” Tommy scoffed. “Ranboo’s being all nice and giving me a tour, real proper treatment!”
“It’s a bit hard to give you a tour when you don’t know when to keep quiet and stay out of trouble.” Technoblade retorted, narrowing his eyes at the borrower.
Rather than be swayed by the stare or risk looking weak in front of his new friend, Tommy opted to roll his eyes and cross his arms.
“It’s not like you’re doing a good job either! Ranboo spotted me yesterday even though you said I was hidden!”
Oh shit.
As if Ranboo wasn’t stressed enough. He could practically feel his skin start to sting as he began sweating, his nerves getting to him. He flinched when Techno whirled around to glare at him, those red eyes burning into him, and he quickly took a couple steps back. His retreat was halted when he smacked back into the pillar and he quickly raised his hands in the hopes of calming down the angered anarchist.
“I haven’t told anyone! I swear! I kept it to myself cause I didn’t wanna cause any problems-”
“Good.” The piglin hybrid interrupted, backing up as some of the tension left his frame. “Keep it that way.”
“Aw, c’mon Blade! Everyone should know about how awesome I am!”
“I’m doing this place a service by not letting anyone see you. I should be paid for keeping the peace.”
“Hey!”
Ranboo blinked as he watched the pair interact, his mind caught up on one, small detail he had refused to forget. Techno had appeared tense, which was a reaction he never thought he would see from the piglin hybrid. Sure, based on the stories he had heard, there were times where Technoblade might panic if his plans went horribly awry, but those moments were few and far between.
Had something happened that had caused Technoblade to act so protective? Who exactly was Tommy to him? Based on the bickering and bantering one might have thought they disliked each other, but it was clear that the opposite was true.
Not that Ranboo would ever ask such personal questions. The last thing he wanted to do was cross a boundary, especially if it risked upsetting Technoblade.
“So,” He spoke up. “Does that mean there’s no tour…?”
The deadpan stare he got from the other hybrid was enough of an answer, even if Tommy shouted his objections and dismay at the thought of not being able to explore. This was also around the time where Techno lifted a hand up to his shoulder, allowing the borrower to jump off and get comfortable.
Ranboo just stared. Wow. Just… wow.
“Nope. I just shoved Quackity into a lake since he spotted me.” He shrugged. “He’s probably getting a mob together to hunt me down.”
“Ha ha, yeah. Um, he… he probably is…” Ranboo nervously laughed while Tommy just scratched his head.
“The fuck’s Quackity? And why the fuck is he hunting you?”
“No one important, and no reason.” Technoblade grunted and adjusted the bag that had been slung over his shoulder, ignoring the new questions Tommy started asking him. Ranboo, taking a page out of his book, also tuned the borrower out and he focused on the bag. It seemed as though the piglin hybrid had been raiding L’Manberg yet again.
Then… did that mean this was where he left Tommy when he went on those raids? A plan began to form in Ranboo’s mind and, despite the anxious part of him shouting this was a bad idea, he decided to voice it aloud.
“Would it be alright if Tommy and I hung out the next time you were here?”
“Oi! Ranboo! The fuck are you asking him for?!” Tommy shouted from his spot on Techno’s shoulder. He looked offended at the implication of Ranboo needing permission to interact with him. “He’s not my fucking mum or whatever!”
“Yay for that.”
The sarcastic retort resulted with the borrower shouting, cursing more, and reaching out to yank at one of the pink locks of hair closest to him. The borderline tantum got a reaction out of both of the hybrids, Ranboo snorting while Techno just smirked.
However, the smirk faded as he turned his attention back onto Ranboo.
Technoblade looked him up and down, as if trying to find… something. The enderman hybrid did his best to stay calm, even as his tail anxiously wrapped around his leg. Time dragged on, and he felt like he was going to flee before the other hybrid was done with whatever he was doing.
Finally, Techno nodded in approval and spoke. “Alright. I’ll leave a note at your place the next time we drop by.”
“Yes!” He cheered and pumped a fist into the air, joined by Tommy’s own cries of excitement.
“Whoo! You’re the best, Blade!” The borrower beamed before he flashed Ranboo a thumbs up. “You’ve gotta give me a bit of a tour next time, then! Show me all the cool places, and the women!”
“... Okay, only showing you one of those-”
“The women!”
“Tommy, no!”
Without warning, Technoblade broke into loud, booming laughter at both the excitement in Tommy’s voice and the look of sheer horror on Ranboo’s face. He leaned forward and slapped a hand on his knee, nearly knocking the borrower off his shoulder in the process.
Once he got his laughter under control, and wiped away the few tears that had gathered his eyes, his ears flickered. Something had caught his attention. Ranboo, curious as to what the other hybrid was hearing, briefly shut his eyes and focused.
Off in the distance, the faint sounds of shouting and clanking armor were steadily growing louder. It seemed as though Quackity was indeed out for revenge and had amassed a fair sized following to drive Technoblade out.
Well, there was no better time to leave. The piglin hybrid nodded his thanks to Ranboo while Tommy flashed him one last thumbs up, and the strange duo were gone.
Legs suddenly weak, Ranboo dropped to the ground and let out a sigh. He tilted his head back, resting it against the wooden pillar, and sighed.
Wow.
That had been one heck of a chat.
Well, chat and discovery of Tommy and… whatever a borrower was. He’d have to look that up at some point without drawing attention to himself.
For now, he had a journal entry to write.
Ranboo smiled to himself and opened his journal, ready to jot down everything that had happened and his plans to hang out with Tommy in the future. He took his time turning the pages, eyes scanning over the words detailing his life in this place, before he finally landed on his most recent entry. He laughed to himself as he skimmed the frantic scrawl about a tiny person he had seen, happy to have both solved that mystery and made a new friend.
Plus, he had another positive interaction with Technoblade under his belt. He doubted the other hybrid considered him to be a friend, but perhaps one day in the future he might.
Well, as long as he stayed neutral in the grand scheme of things. It wouldn’t surprise him if another fight between L’Manberg and Techno broke out once again…
Ranboo shook his head to rid himself of such negative thoughts. He could worry about the future later, for now he had to write down everything that had happened so he didn’t forget it. So, he turned the page-
And found an emote.
He knew it was something he would never have drawn, especially since it wasted the page. He stared at it, fixated by the drawing. It was… a...
:)
… Wait, what had he been thinking about?
Ranboo frowned and scratched his head, struggling to try and piece together why he had his journal out. He must have been about to write something in it, but why couldn’t he remember what that was…
Ah, oh well. Perhaps he would remember later.

Mmmm, yes, another cliff hanger...
The next chapter is gonna pick up where chapter five left off for those who are worried, so we shall get Tubbo content soon! I couldn't help but drop some foreshadowing first :P
Also I apologize about this chapter taking so long, but I seem to be getting my energy back so hopefully the wait for the next chapter won’t be as long!

Do you think you'll ever make a part 2 to the baker fic :0?
I was very in love with it and if not that's fine!
Maybe! I'll be honest as say that I don't exactly have any ideas on how to continue that, but if inspiration strikes me then I'll definitely write a continuation

distant sounds of fish-based wheezing
I'm only ever active when I've got fics to share/updates on my writing/general content for said fics and at some point I just hit the worst writers block I'd ever had
Doesn't really help I can't access my favourite writing spot anymore due to certain global situations so I got doubly shot in the motivation
HOWEVER! I LIVE! I HAVE GAINED ENERGY (sort of)! AND WANT TO SET OUT TO AT LEAST WORK ON THE FICS I STARTED/VIBE IN GENERAL!
I just need to gently smack my brain with a stick every once in a while so I don't fall into that hole again XD

I don't have a definite date for the next chapter but I can say that I have been slowly chipping away at it! I suck at focusing on things at times which can make writing in chronological order a massive pain, but future chapters have gotten some pretty good attention at least XD
The current outline is something, but I have many ideas and the doc is chunky

I'm hoping to post more chapters/fics in general soon when winter break hits as I have many, many ideas
.... As well as the dozens of other ideas I've had for AUs and other fics in general. At some point all y'all are gonna get spammed with a massive wall of activity and I apologize for that in advance XD

ahdfjsadadgaj I’m blushing so hard right now, but god I’d make an awful book writer XD
Y’all already have to deal with my bouts of brainrot as well as super long wait times for chapters for some fics (which I promise are still in progress, life and depression have just been hitting hard and making things a pain in the ass >.>)
It always makes me happy though to hear about how much people like my writing, and thank you so much for the compliment <3

110% agreed found family fics are the absolute BEST
Yes!!!
I’m also one of those weirdos who just adores seeing all the different takes people can come up with under the found family spectrum, and how the characters can grow and develop in different ways as well as the scenarios they get into. It’s just so good!

I don't know if the LN2 ending destroyed you as much as it did me, but I found this LN2 fix-it fic on AO3 (part 1 is called 'forgiveness', second part is called 'raccoons') that's just so wholesome and it has angst and fluff and found family and AAAAAA it's just so good and it reminds me of snowcon forest a little
Six will forever be my feral little goblin child but holy shit I shed a tear for Mono and everything he went through. The children need so much therapy, and thanks for the fic recommendation!
I crave found family so much, it’s just so good (especially the angst that comes with it >:3)

hiiiii! I've been following your Techno and Tommy fic and D U D E I have got to say it is possibly the best Fanfic I have ever read like in any fandom. You write the perfect ratio of description and dialogue and just- the FEELS. I've re-read the whole thing (and the bonus chapter thingy) multiple times and it never gets old like WOW. You're incredible and I hope you know that dude, freaking amazing

Not gonna lie, I didn’t expect anywhere near as many people to enjoy it as there actually are and it warms my cold, dead heart to see it making so many people happy!
And reassurance, as I’ve been chipping away at the next chapter for that too!
