12.31.2021 | happy new year’s eve! i spent last night roughly planning out the spring semester and writing some of my goals as we head into a new month, new semester and new year.

i’ve been trying to catch up on my last readings of the year but this week has been crazy at work, can’t wait for tomorrow so i can spend the whole day in bed reading, happy holidays to everyone.

Today I had my first real moment alone since arriving in Malta, over coffee and books this morning at a café near the university. I love this spot; these balconies are everywhere in the city and they are so full of sunlight :–)

Let's Play Catch Up...

For those of you who have been with me since the inception of this studyblr, thank you! You have seen me through 3 academic institutions, a few breaks, lots of personal growth, and have cheered me on every step of the way.

I've loved knowing that I can take time for myself when need and still come back to this lovely space of hard working people! I'm going into my senior year of undergrad and I'm excited and worried but SO ready and cannot wait to share all of this with all of you!

I want this to be a beautiful space for everyone, especially BIPOC/Black students, and continue to show my perseverance to get my degree.

Some big events that have happened within this year alone:

I moved into my first apartment

my childhood dog passed away

I got my second internship that I start in the fall - it's with a publishing company!

I got vaccinated

I made Dean's List for the Spring

I changed minors from Journalism & Mass Comm to Linguistics

I can't wait to share more with y'all over time!
