I always find it funny how the third film ends on the note where it seems like Leon and Fabi get along again and more adventures await them, meanwhile Fabi for the rest of the series is just this:
Two boys were sitting on the edge of a Camelot with their arms folded on the wooden railings and legs dangling above the abyss. Every landscape-painter would cry if they saw the view from this spot. But not because of how fascinating it is, not at all! Honestly, it was quite the opposite: a pitch darkness wouldn’t let them see through it forest paths and tall fit trees, low hills faded in the distance, and only beyond the forest line the dim lights of the city were visible.
So empty and boring.
Underfoot - twenty meters and three seconds of falling, overhead - a sky covered in the black heavy clouds. The charry on top was a cold wind blowing into the right ear and making them to constantly remove hair from their faces.
However, there was something special about that moment. Or, to be specific, there was something special about him.
Deniz couldn’t help staring at Leon and spotting every detail: the wind swayed messy hair of the boy, his blue eyes were looking at something in the sky, the wind made Leon squint his eyes, and his nose and cheeks turned pink from the coolness of the night. It was very unusual for Leon just to seat there quietly and not picking up a fight or being a severe commander he is. This picture of him went missing, like if it was a completely different person sitting in front of Deniz: the pensive one, in peace and serenity. They haven't said a word since they’ve got here, but it wasn’t an awkward silence, they were just enjoying each other’s company.
Suddenly, without turning his head, Leon looked at him, accompanying it with "Hm?". Deniz immediately realized that he got a bit carried away and, blushing, shifted his gaze to the empty space in front of him. They continued to sit in complete silence, listening to the rustling of the leaves, agitated by another breath of wind.
Deniz’s back started aching from non-changing sitting position and he removed his hands from the railings because of that, so he could put them on the floor to lean on them, when suddenly he felt the touch of cold fingers on his hand. Something pleasant just tingled in the chest…
Deniz glanced back at his friend and saw Leon putting his hand over his arm while smiling faintly. Yes, even in this pitch darkness he could see his smile! The boy’s breathing stopped for a moment and he felt how blood rushes into his cheeks.
The cold wind blew again, but then some kind of dim light appeared from above, becoming brighter and brighter, attracting their attention - it was a wide moon, showing off in the dark blue sky. The black clouds left in the direction of somewhere on the East, and an infinite number of shiny stars opened up to the eyes of the children again.
«At the end of the day, it's very pretty out here.» Leon has finally said the first word.
Now Deniz could see him in a completely different light - in the moonlight. And, God, he was stunning…
He timidly leaned closer and crossed their fingers. He looked back to the sky, and after a moment of silence he responded:
Like, all this cocky behavior is to hide his shit tone of insecurities.
It was show very well in S1E8. Damn, this bitch literally had voices in his head telling him that they can't stand him. Btw, it probably means that he doesn't trust his friends and always waiting for a betrayal as he immediately assumes the worst, even though there was no ground for that.
Idk, maybe I'll make a full analysis of his personality, buuuut I'll think about it.
