Keigo: *not one to waste food, begins chewing angrily.*

Loud Cloud: Don’t worry. I won’t name you something dumb like Polly. That��s so overdone for a pirate to have a parrot named Polly.

Keigo: *still in the middle of chewing his outrageously dry mouthful of crackers* ‘S COUGH Hawcksh! *translated: its Hawks!*

Loud Cloud: Squawks?! Very original! I like it! Welcome aboard, matey! Happy to have you on the team, Squawks!

(Of course, someone nearby was recording the video of the aftermath of the villain attack and captured this moment. Keigo’s debut as a new pro hero by the name of Squawks was covered by all media outlets before the day was out.)

I can’t stop thinking about how Oboro and Hawks would have been buddies in a universe where Oboro survived.

My brain is all like, after the incident that killed him, he instead lost his eye and had to work to recover from the lack of depth perception. However, Oboro takes it in stride while all of his friends are blaming themselves for his loss. Which is just silly. Because with the eyepatch he has a new branding! He can be Loud Cloud: The Sky Pirate!

He keeps trying to convince Hizashi to lean into the parrot role of a pirate. But Hizashi says he will never include feathers or fur like material in his costumes (sneezing= bursting an entire building’s windows and he needs to maintain control).

Then, years down the line, in the midst of a large battle, he happens across the Hero Commission’s prized pet on his debut: SQUAWKS! (No… it’s Hawks… please, sir, my hero name is H-A-W-K-S!) Much to the Hero Commission’s irritation, and Keigo’s feigned annoyance (anything that upsets the hero commission goons can’t be all that bad), the name Squawks catches on. And due to that name catching on, people always want to see him with The Sky Pirate as a team up. The hero commission gives in hoping at least they will be able to salvage it with some popularity, and thus they allow Hawks to join Loud Cloud during a good portion of his patrols. Their quirks are so similar, with Squawks controlling and manipulating feathers and Cloud controlling clouds that they learn to work together seamlessly and defeat situations in half the time. Oboro with his staff, and Keigo with his feather blade back to back while a whirl of fog like mist and feathers surround them is a sight to behold. A pirate and his trusty feathered companion

(Oboro 100% carries around crackers to give to Keigo as a reward after good missions. The fact he was rarely rewarded for anything he did with the commission makes his chest warm while he eats it, all the while complaining things like “I’M NOT A PARROT!” Though, he will absolutely claw the eyes out of anyone’s face if they try to take that cracker from him.)

(Aizawa 100% sympathizes with the feathered companion, as he also didn’t get the chance to name himself)

Having some Fantasy Plot AU ideas for My Hero Academia that I have decided to share:

Aizawa is a great black dragon who lives in a cave deep in a dark and dangerous forest, far from humanity. He does this for many reasons. The first is that humans are loud, so the further from the kingdom the better, and the deeper into the forest he is the less likely they will approach. The second reason is that his magic sustains him as a dragon. Dragons are known for going entire years in deep slumber. So much so that it’s not uncommon for annoying humans to be the number one cause of their deaths, breaking into caves and killing dragons and claiming they battled the dragon and won. So, it is safer to hide in a cave far from disgusting humans.

It is during one such nap that he awakes to the sound of a human woman and man’s voice. How or why they came to his cave is immediately apparent when he cracks one eye and sees them talking to a young child. Practically a hatchling. They tell the boy to wait in the cave while the two of them go get food and firewood and explain they will be right back. As they exit the cave, his ears pick up their voices still. Stating that, with how far they came into the forest this time there is no way he will be able to follow them out without getting lost and eaten by a monster. They are finally free of it.

Aizawa sits and ponders for a time, watching the boy sit there patiently for its parent’s return. He expects them to scream or fuss, but the boy doesn’t do anything of the sort. Humans call the creatures of the forest monsters, but they would never abandon their spawn for no good reason.

He should ignore it. The human larva will obviously grow up to be a man. With a sword and a loud voice and an uncaring, boisterous manner. The world will be much better with one less man in it.

He hears its stomach growl. He ignores it. It’s not his fault the creature will die. It was its disgusting parents. Hours pass and it begins to sob.

He tells himself he is just doing this to keep it quiet so he can go back to sleep. Deep down, he knows the quickest way to quiet it would be to kill it. But he can’t bring himself to crush such a pathetic creature. Perhaps, one day, when it’s full grown he will be able to bring himself to kill it.

He uncurls and steps towards the child, curious to see how it would take to having his full might bearing down on it. His read eyes glowing in the cave. When the boy sees him, it doesn’t scream. It doesn’t beg like adults of its kind do. It goes quiet and watches him with curiosity. Then it slowly gets up and toddles towards him, completely forgetting its hunger and sorrow in the face of his form.

“Kitty!”

The child, obviously a moron but what human isn’t, stops at his front claw and gives it a pat and looks up at him with a chubby little smile, his purple eyes gleaming, a similar color to his hair.

He feels a heat in his chest that is strangely unrelated to his flames. Different from the rage he usually feels when he is dealing with humans.

He lifts his claw and knocks the child over, but it just giggles. He presses his snout into the child’s body, trying to see what was so wrong with it that would make it be abandoned. It smells like magic. A strong aura. Why would humans want to rid themselves of such a weapon?

After a few moments of contemplation while he pins it in place with a well placed claw through the hem of its shirt as it continues to babble and snort while attempting to stand like it’s a game, he activates his own magic. He transforms himself into the shape of a man, his wings melting into a black cloak and his scales fitting into a human looking warrior garb.

The child laughs and claps his hands like he did little more than a cheep parlor.

He looks down at the child, his face stony while his chest continued to feel a strange and irritating warmth.

He scowls down at the child, rubbing his sternum. He must be getting sick.

Maybe he slept for too long. Perhaps it was time for him to remain awake long enough to explore the world and see if anything changed in the past 100 years. Have a few new experiences.

He reaches down and picks up the human child. It coos at him, slapping his cheek, but it’s pathetically weak. It will be a long time before this little human will be old enough to be a threat to anything but itself. Especially if it goes around smacking every monster it meets.

Yes. He supposes this is his life now. He’s not as heartless as a human. There is no way he can force such a small creature to fend for itself so young. There will be a learning curve. But he supposes he will be a better parent than those monsters that abandoned it. And isn’t that ironic coming from a dragon?

Just picturing Villain Present Mic learning Eraserhead’s biggest weakness and using it to his advantage.

A.K.A. Villain Mic using his voice quirk late at night in a dark alley or something to imitate the echoing sound of a kitten’s mews to get Eraserhead to fall into his trap and capture him. Once captured and defenseless, instead of demand release, Aizawa would instead demand to know what the evil villain did to that poor cat and demand the release of the cat. Mic, interrupted from his villain monologue, has to gently break it to the hero that the cat is him. The cat never existed. Eraserhead doesn’t seem to buy it. Rather than make Mic mad, it further endears him to the very one track minded hero.

*Hizashi gets knocked out by a villain*

Aizawa, rushing to Hizashi’s side the moment he can, followed by a few other heroes securing the scene: Mic! Open your eyes! Is your head okay?!

Hizashi: Eraserhead, do you of all people even need to ask? Please. My head game’s top of the charts. Nothing but five star reviews. Why? You wanna take this record for another spin already? While we’re live on air? Scandalous! At least wait until the mic’s not hot and we’re not on duty.

*All of the other heroes instantly pretend like they weren’t listening and wander off while Aizawa sits there, red as a tomato*

Aizawa: … if you weren’t visibly concussed I would hit you.

Hizashi: If I weren’t concussed I would scream “harder.”

Everybody asking who Izuku’s dad is. What about Aizawa? We also never saw a single image of Aizawa’s parents in the show? Why is the main character more important than Aizawa? So now it’s my turn to do a picture reveal as to his dad.

AFO is Aizawa’s father. My proof?

They spend most of the series in a hospital bed, both have elder doctors on speed dial(recovery girl and Garaki), and they wear life saving equipment around their necks, and people get scared when they smile. This is undeniable genetic, DNA evidence that they are 100% related.

More plot AU’s:

This one probably exists somewhere in some form, BUT…

Child (probably someone who would one day become 1A student) comes across an injured and incapacitated Aizawa. Because their parents work late/don’t have parents/place they stay is pretty unmonitored and the person was knocked out and obviously robbed (villain got the upper hand and stole his stuff and ran), they decide to take the guy home and nurse him back to health and maybe convince him not to be a criminal (he looks sort of like a criminal in his all black and they worry the person would get in trouble if they took them to the hospital).

Aizawa wakes up after a very stupid mistake that nearly cost him his life only to find himself in a child’s bed instead of a hospital or morgue, covered in poor attempts to dress his wounds and many bandages.
