About your piercing- just remember to rotate the back as much as possible, and try to clean it as much as you can for now. I got the back of an earring stuck in my ear while camping once, which wasn’t very pleasant, but it ended up ok! Idk what to do about the sea/if it really matters, but I think you’ll be ok! Have fun!

I’ve been told my a lot of people to not rotate the back while the earring is dry? Apparently it slows the process?

i went on a cruise and into ocean water a couple weeks after getting my second lobes pierced and was fine, just make sure that leading up to the thing that u clean the percings every day rubbing alcohol or the solution they gave you!

Piercing

Ok guys so I got my first ear piercing today (just my lobes) and I’m really paranoid because I’m doing DofE in two weeks (a four day expedition where I won’t be able to shower) and then NCS after (where I will be required to enter the sea at least twice), does anyone have any tips? Or just something (like a story) to calm my nerves? I’m very paranoid of getting it infected
